They do a very good job at taking care of the dogs and I am very thankful for that. Nonetheless I am only rating the place with 3 starts because I feel they could improve way more the daily pictures update they post. I now it is hard to please everyone by having a pics of their dog, but if they were more aware of not uploading more than 3 pics of the same dog perhaps the rest of them will have an opportunity to be in the photoshoot.

I have been brining my dog Bailey here for almost a year. I bring her at least a couple days a week for doggy daycare and for boarding when I go out of town. Every morning when I pack her stuff and a bag of food for daycare, Bailey is so excited to go she is turning circles and dancing and she can't wait to see the staff upon entry. Also I love how they post pics of the dogs dailey. If your looking for a daycare for your dog, I can't recommend Tail Haven enough.

We sent my dog floyd here for a training camp and he came back traumatized. It was worse than when he left and when we got our one home visit, the woman saw him misbehave and grabbed my 85lb golden retriver by the neck and lifted then pushed him to the ground. Who acts that way to a doggie who just wanted to snuggle and love you :(

The owner, Emily, was more worried about us knowing how they were understaffed when our dog was injured, than she was with helping us understand what actually happened. The first thing she said was “well, this is the busiest day of the year, I have several locations, and over 5,000 clients on my list that I’ve built myself.” Like I care about the rest of her business? No.... I wanted to talk about my 1 dog that was hurt while at her facility. She continually cut my fiancé off when she was trying to talk to her, so I had to step in & voice up, because I too can talk over people. She was very combative, argumentative, and overall rude. Our dog has a fractured tibia, which we did not know until we got the X-rays. We would have had those xrays done the same day as the incident, however, her staff reassured us it was nothing. The voicemail that we have claims they inspected the paw he landed on, and said it seemed fine, so it was most likely just him being cautious a puppy. It almost felt as though they talked to us as vet specialist. Well, it ended up having zero to do with the paw. After a night of him crying & being in restless pain my fiancé took our pup to the vet, and that’s when we established the real issue. Initially, the vet told us they did not see how jumping high could have caused this, and the girls at the desk didn’t know what had happened. They told us they were downstairs breaking down boxes, and heard a Yip. We later discovered they were at the top of the stairs, but still not with my dog. He was trying to jump over the fence so he could be with the people I paid to watch him. He’s a 6 month old puppy that requires constant care. The owner acted high & mighty by saying her staff was far better trained than that, and both my fiancé/myself were “Liars.” My dogs surgery was $6,200. I could have left him at home, and saved myself the trouble. Which I will do in the future. This lady is so full of herself, and thinks she has re-invented the wheel as far as doggy day care goes. Almost like she’s God’s gift to dogs, but she can’t even take responsibility. At the end of the day; She was in charge of my dog & he got hurt on her watch. Today, when she called, she didn’t even ask how kiwi was doing. She went strait to “you’re not going to like this call” talking about attorney this & attorney that... trying to intimidate me. Well, it’s not going to work. I have every intent of taking her to small claims court. My suggestion, take your pet somewhere else. I get that it was nothing intentional, but there was zero responsibility taken on her end. Just look at some of her other yelp reviews.... this place is dangerous & the staff is oblivious. Love Tail Haven. My senior golden retriever becomes nervous in new places. She had a great experience and trim. Highly recommend.

I love this place. I was hesitant at first because I don't like day care centers but the Tail Haven has exceeded my expectation. Favio loves going there and they treat him with such care. Favio is an older dog who recently lost his partner and the staff is so understanding and has been so wonderful to him. I have not done the boarding with Tail Haven only because my guy gets very nervous in any kennel. I WISH THEY HAD EXTENDED HOURS FOR DAY CARE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TAIL HAVEN.

Friendly, professional staff, and they open on time and as advertised. This is critical on a busy workday when you are trying to drop off the pooch and scoot to work quickly and efficiently. Keep up the great service.

I am very easy going person and have never left a bad review in my life, but I could not believe the lack of responsibility and care they have shown me and my dog. I dropped my dog off last Friday with a 10 am grooming appointment and went to pick her up at 230 pm when I was given the window of time between 2-3pm for pick up. Before I came I tried to call numerous times and no one answered, so I left work to go get her to find out that she hasn't even been seen yet and wouldn't be ready until at least 5 pm. No one even called to tell me they were running behind. I live about 20+ minutes away, so I couldn't just leave her, so I had to take her home without being groomed. After talking to the lady at the front desk I did not realize they kennel the dogs the entire time they are there unless you pay more for "dog daycare" even though they are the ones taking 5-7+ hours to groom a dog with an appointment. It is sad the staff is willing to let dogs sit in a kennel for 7 hours straight when we made an appointment for a reason. That was never disclosed when signing her up the first couple times I took her. The staff was at least apologetic for this and rescheduled her with another appointment today at 7am. When I dropped her off at 7am I was told that she was 3rd on the list and it wouldn't be long until shes ready for pick up. It was confirmed that the phones were working perfectly and we could call and someone will answer due to our work schedules. My husband called to pick her up at 10 am and they said she wasn't ready after being there for 3 hours and was 3rd on the list. The staff couldn't even give him a time frame she would be ready. I needed to pick my dog up since we were leaving town, so I started to call around 11am and no one answered after trying for close to an hour, so I sent an email to have someone call me back to let me know if she was ready. Never heard back, so I went to pick her up. The lady at the front desk told me she saw my email but went on break instead of calling me even though I put it as urgent. She informed me my dog wasn't even seen for grooming after being there for 5 hours/3rd on the list and yet again had to take her home dirtier than when I dropped her off after doing this twice in a row. Staff did not care or even apologize for any of it. Extremely rude!

This is the only place that I would ever take my Springer spaniel’s. 24 hour care and attention makes all the difference in the world. I am really Particular about where my animals stay when I am not here and I have to tell you I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. The owner Emily and her staff are amazing .

I have a young husky with a lot of energy- he has so much fun here at daycare- and the next day he is always exhausted (sometimes even for two days). They just opened the large dog area, and it is great for him- lots of pools to play in and more area to run outdoor. With a busy work schedule, it definitely helps to have a happy & tired dog.

My pup has been a regular during daycare for at least 6 months now. We started taking her when she was about 14 weeks old and I credit this is the biggest reason why she is so well socialized and loves all pups and people alike. The staff was SUPER supportive, sweet, and great with helping her comfortably get exposure to other pups (especially Brooke, she is AMAZING). I know she is in great hands when I drop her off in the morning, and 9 hours later, I pick up a pup that is happy to see me...and so tired! I would (and have!!) recommend TH to anyone.

Emily has put her whole heart and soul into her doggie day care facility and all that it stands for. She worked specifically with my three dogs and helped me to understand them much better, and to respond to specific commands. She is a "dog whisperer" to say the least and I know this is her calling in life. She is loving, calm, and assertive and I would be comfortable leaving any of my dogs with her for a long length of time. I highly recommend Emily and The Tail Haven!!!
