Good place for dogs, they are so kind and my dog is so comfortable to go there.

The entire staff was so compassionate, Our regular vet is closed on the weekend, and this veterinary practice was open on Sunday (1/2/22) and I was able to make an appt. My fur baby went into distress before our appt time and when I called them they allowed me to bring her in immediately. Their kindness and compassion touched our hearts and I highly recommend them.

Needed urgent care for my pup and was able to get in within the hour. Whereas the other vet only scheduled afternoon appmts. Moving here because hours more reasonable and someone actually answers the phone. The place is clean and had several patient rooms. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

They were very cooperative in giving an appointment asap the same day I called. My Golden had a terrible ear infection. I was made to wait until I couldn’t wait any longer for an appointment with another Vetenary hospital that I had been going to for well over 10 years. I was impressed with their quality of service, professionalism and congeniality. They are now my preferred Vet Clinicfor my four dogs. Thank you so much! ????

Expensive because of 24 hour emergency bit definitely worth it. They took good care of our furriest family member and didn't care how many times I called to check on him.

Our pup was attacked by 2 other dogs and she had an ear infection. Most vets are closed on Sundays but not Rancho! They had an opening, check in was easy. Doctor was quick and thourough, they were able to do the procedure the same day. I am very grateful and staff were nice and professional. Will be coming back!

We were worried that our Paloma was having a problem with incontinence. Called and was able to make an appointment the very next day. Dr. Boman was so very professional and kind. She suggested tests. Results showed a UTI. Prescribed antibiotics, and Paloma is doing great! I will bring Paloma here from now on! Would highly recommend them to all. Thank you!

I took my cat late on a Sunday because he hadn't pooped for 4 days. They work me in and got him cleared out by 5pm. I know this made them late getting out for the evening. I didn't want to take my cat to La Mesa Emergency Vet. (price gougers) RV was not outrageous with their prices. The boy has pep in step today. Back to normal. Thank you!

Very young and novice vet. She always has to look up things on the computer. Not very comforting at all.

Repremeneded me on everything and told me how I needed to go there instead of anywhere else. Rude and would never go back.

Our cat was sick and our vet was no longer available. We called around and Rancho Village Vet was the only place that had an appointment sooner than the next week. We went the next day. Dr. Boman and her staff were kind and compassionate, yet professional. She was able to pinpoint the problem without a bunch of expensive tests. I plan to use this vet permanently.

For those who rated this Dr Bowman a 4. Please check yourselves....was that truly your experience or were you manipulated. This is the worst vet in the east county — there are so many more vets around I. The area that will actually collaborate/listen to you as the per owner. This one Failed in both accounts.

The front desk staff is great; helpful, friendly, communicative. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the vet we saw. I am a new pet owner and when our pup ended up having a lot of health issues only weeks after we adopted him, I of course had a lot of questions. Whenever I spoke with Dr. Bowman, it felt like she was in a rush to get off the phone with me. She didn't seem to care about my dog or the stress I was under as a new pet owner with a lot of unexpected vet bills. We still don't know what's going on with our dog, by the way. The wait time to be seen is also ridiculous. Even though I've always been on time for our appointments, even a little early, I've had to wait up to 45 minutes for my dog to be seen. And then the appointment lasts 15 minutes and I usually had more questions than answers afterwards. Poor communication. Lack of compassion. No answers. We will be taking our pup elsewhere.

Rude!!! Says it all ! It was suggested I go some where else. Tried to get me to spend more money than needed. Very very RUDE. So I did go somewhere else. They treat me like they want me there , courtesy is no a option!

This office and it’s staff gave unclear communication on medication schedules multiple times. They did not listen to our concerns. I appreciate that they work with rescue animals but they need take responsibility and clearly communicate. We will not take our pup to this location again.

I knew prior to the visit that my dog was healthy, but needed current rabies shot so I can take him to the groomer. Was told by the vet I have to do an examine in order to get the rabies shot so I take him in and give them his papers. They inform me that he is current on rabies shot so they could not give this but still charged me for the vet to tell me that he is healthy..... will not be coming back!

Honestly, I would not recommend this place. I dropped my Kitten off to get neutered, and they tried to give him shots he didn’t need! When I called to talk to them about it, and how his primary doctor sent his updates, they literally said they didn’t open the email from his doctor about his record... are you serious? Then after we confirmed they’re going to give us a cone after the neuter, they still didn’t put one on our kitten. They even tried to charge us for it even though it came with our surgery! The girl literally went “oh yea it does huh?” They need to really get it together before they hurt a pet they should be helping...

Dr. Bowman squeezed my 6 yr old female German Shepherd, Elsa, in over a holiday weekend. Elsa had already been seen the night before at VCA Mission Valley and Dr. Bowman reviewed everything they had done. Given Elsa appeared to be getting worse, Dr. Bowman explained everything she was suggesting be done to try and figure out what was going on and why. After doing all the diagnostic testing, she and her team provided good follow-up care instructions. The next morning Dr. Bowman called to check on Elsa and addressed any questions or concerns I had. I would definitely go here again and do recommend them. They are open every day of the week which is hard to find.

This veterinary has been a true blessing. My dog had been in a fight with a coyote and after his emergency hospital surgery he has been visiting Rancho village for the checkups and they have been so patient and great! The doctor is very professional with being upfront with you about cost. Plus my dog seems to not mind going which blows my mind. It shows they have not only good doctors but vet techs who have patience and kindness to your fur baby! I was recently not happy with Papi’s vet for the last 13 yrs so I finally found somewhere closer to home and I wish I did it sooner. If you’re looking for a new vet this place rocks!

I am fostering an 8YO male Boxer that requires neutering before cohabitating with my spayed 22-Month-old female Boxer and before the family leaves the country to Japan, due to a Navy transfer and report by 7 Sep 2020. I called Rancho Village, and Sarah took my call, she discussed with me cost and appointment availability before the family had to leave, all other vets had no availabilities until November or December. Sarah and I discussed the cost difference, age consideration of bare-bones neutering, vs.a full procedure for neutering an 8YO Boxer, and we agreed the complete process is best for Romeo's age. Rancho Village did not have a "Bare-Bones" procedure appointment before October. Sarah provided a full treatment appointment that met our requirements, booked the appointment for 9/3/2020 for $346.42 with a 10% military discount for services. A non-refundable deposit for the full cost of the procedure was required. Sarah took all the required information for Romeo, and credit card payment, and I received an e-mail shortly after completing the call with a receipt, drop-off form, and new client information sheet for Romeo's appointment day. The entire experience was courteous, accommodating, and professional. I was grateful that Rancho Village could accommodate all our various requirements on such short notice. Thank you, Sarah, and staff at Rancho Village for timely and affordable solutions during trying times and providing an appointment that would allow the family children to see Romeo before surgery and before departing for Japan. Sincerely and Very Respectfully, Todd Johnston LCDR, USN, (Ret.)

Thumper was unexpectedly diagnosed with a tumor on his spleen. He had lost 20% of his body weight. Dr Bowman gave us sound advice. We had it removed. He is eating, walking, and wagging his tail again. Feel like I have a happy pup. Thank you guys for saving my little bug. Also, he is eating like a big dog. They really care and commit to their patients.

The staff at Rancho Village Vet Hospital were very professional and happily answered all of my questions. I had to pass off my sick cat right from the car due to social distancing and they made the process smooth for us. Chloe came back very relaxed and is healing on schedule. Thank you Ladies!!

They were so kind and made the euthanasia of our 15 yr dachshund much easier than I thought it could be.

Hard to deal with. I took my puppy there because our normal vet wast open. I will not be going back. We paid for full shots and the tech couldn't do math so it lapsed and they blamed us and wanted to charge extra.
