We've been taking our beloved dogs here for over a decade. Early on we visited other veterinarian offices. We appreciate the care, concern and friendliness of the staff. They have helped us navigate the many stages of owing a pet from the routine to the emergency. They really care about helping you and provide recommendations and assessments honestly and transparently.

It was great! Dr. Lai was wonderful as usual! Debbie was efficient and friendly as usual.

Refused to cut our cats nails. Highly disappointed after visiting them prior to covid and during. It looks like their new staff may not be as well experienced as their previous ones.

I was really impressed by the friendly and professional staff. The service was excellent. My cat was seen by Dr. Lai and she was really great to deal with. From this point I have no intention of using another vet and would highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Irvine.

Phone calls were not answered. They refused to service my cat and would not reschedule an appointment because they were scared of him. Overpriced with nail clippings being $50 per pet.

Not a positive first visit with my dog. I know my other family members have a good relationship with the vet and their dog, and I wish that the vet had established that with me. I know that the vet is upset about this review, I paid in full, but I dont want money or a refund. I'll remove this when I get that apology. I've been asked multiple times to remove this review, but never once heard an apology for the mishap, and it's been months. ????

Leo my 5 year old red point siamese, had pulled a nail. I called this vet for the very first time. Appointment given asap was seen by Dr Joanne. What a wonderful facility. Excellent healthcare, caring people, and extremely Empathic. Wonderful and thoughtful reception, Allyson, and the complete staff. Leo adored them. I will be back as a forever client. Thank you guys. I’ve brought my dog here a few times. Way more expensive than any other vet I’ve been to. I’m disappointed with my dog’s treatment as well. They failed to provide adequate treatment for my dog so he is still very sick. I will be taking him to another vet. I was charged $400 for a medication/testing. My friend who is currently a vets assistant told me this pricing was ridiculous for what I was getting and compared prices here with a majority of other vets. I’d be fine paying that much if it made my dog better, but it didn’t at all and each issue we have gone there for has not been resolved. My dog remains with the same issues as hundreds of dollars ago. Ridiculous. I will say, the people who work there are very nice people and my review is solely based off of pricing, treatment, recovery of my dog.

You won't find a better, more caring vet. They're so good I've kept bringing my pets even after moving further away.

Our pets have always received the best of care and attention at AHI! Drs. Lai, Bauman and Hwang take time to explain the situation and proposed treatment plan, and patiently answer any and all questions. Our 105 lb pup loves going to AHI because he receives so much love from them!

We took our first dog to Animal Hospital of Irvine for the 8 years that we had her. Now that we have a new puppy, we wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of her. The office staff are always so wonderful ... doctors and staff for 8+ years!

Every time I take Lori, my cat, in for soft paws or annual visit, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and understanding of Lori's issues. Dr. Lae is absolutely marvelous and always explains everything in details. She truly cares about every animal she sees and their human parents. The staff is like a family. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Irvine!

Dr. Anne Lai is a wonderful doctor to our kitten. All the staff are very kind and knowledgeable, we know every visit our cat is good hands. I recommended my MIL here for her pup, she's going to be moving in the area. Thank you! :)

Everyone was incredibly patient and understanding with our dog who gets anxious and defensive at the vet. I appreciated the quick response of the front office staff in answering phone calls and how organized they were in processing paperwork and checkout with the added challenge of social distancing. The day after our visit, the doctor called us with a thorough explanation of lab results and recommendations. We are excited to come back and see the inside of the office once Covid 19 restrictions lift. Thank you for your care!

My cat loves to come here. She hates to be brushed and groomed. Poor girlfriend gets knotted. The technician was supportive and wonderful. We will return every month for her spa experience.

I have been taking my dogs here for over 15 years. The staff is friendly and the Vets are very good with the animals. The staffing has changed and I will miss Dr Baumann...but Dr Lei is great too. I recommend to anyone that needs a good vet.

They are a great team of professionals from veterinarians to receptionists. They are very compassionate, humble, and considerate. My dog appreciates them most importantly.

We love animal hospital of Irvine. The doctors are always honest and compassionate. I can take comfort in knowing all of the staff at this hospital treat my dog as if it is their own. They even tried hand feeding my dog that was being picky about eating while he was boarding! Recommend them to ALL!

From the moment we walked in--on a Sunday, we were greeted by the front office lady with a "Hi, I will be right with you" (with a smile) to the very sweet tech, and Dr. Anne-Lai's pleasant disposition, thoroughness of answering questions regarding our new adopted dog Luna---we are extremely satisfied. My husband, once in the car, said "talk about great bedside manners!!!" We live in Lake Forest, but the Animal Hospital of Irvine will certainly be where we will go when Luna is in need of a veterinarian. I also very much appreciated the personal follow-up call, by Anne-Lai, D.V.M., the following day.

This is the place where you should be taking your pets to for all types medical needs. The doctors ans stuff are very nurturing and will answer all your questions. BTW, best place for cat boarding, my cat stayed there 3 times. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Irvine.

Gosh, where to start? I've had many wonderful experiences with what I consider to be the perfect clinical team. My furry baby and I adore Debbie and cannot say enough for how often her genuinely caring and soothing presence has helped us push through some very frightening emergent situations.
