York is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and you can really tell he cares about each one of his clients. We enjoy going to class weekly and our pup is showing quick progress!

I love the way York interacts with my puppy and he really helps me to understand the best way to help she and I become a wonderful team. He reassures when you are doing it right and corrects very gently when you are re-enforcing the wrong behavior instead of the good behavior. I would highly recommend him to train any dog. York is an amazing dog trainer who really takes the time to perfect his craft. He helped us tremendously with our puppy and was always so accommodating. Both of our dogs have been trained with AVO trainers. The individual training was very personalized and took us and our pets through clear progressive steps to get to our goals. Our two dogs could not be more different, so we really got to see the scope of the AVO trainers expertise to work with various issues. Our bulldog has serious health issues and our pitbull is a rescue who was very fearful and reactive to other dogs. They both made huge improvements from individual training. Our dogs love them. Our pit has continued to progress with his socialisation at group classes. I would feel confident recommending AVO to anyone. They love every single dog, and do a great job of training both the owners and the dogs.

We just started joining the group classes to work on our dog’s focus, obedience and leash manners. We loved that there were so many options of days and location to chose from, making it very convenient!
