Dr. Kim was amazing, I'm a new pup mom and he made our experience a good one. My new pup (CAM) got his first shot and didn't even notice it???????????? Additionally, I was able to get a same day appointment ???????? this was huge, since time was important to me. Dr. Kim also made my pup feel very comfortable and we got him some anti flea and tick medicine along with deworming chews. Both of which my pup loved and ate them easily. Finally Dr. Kim afford us an affordable price for all of this. We are now set for our follow up visit for my pups next round of shots. BTW, CAM (two and a half months) is so cute and is mixed.. His mom is full Labrador and his dad is a German Shepherd.. he takes mostly after dad and is due to be a very large dog, ????????????♥️♥️♥️ I am so happy to have him added to our family????????????????????

The vet saw a stray for me that possibly needed surgery and squeezed us in last minute. I am endlessly appreciative of his great service and bedside manner for a scared kitty that isnt used to being handled by humans yet. Kitty is now happily on the mend thanks to Dr. Kim! Thank you!!

TRULY AMAZING VET! We got a new puppy and established care with Dr. Kim. Everything was routine. A few days later our puppy suddenly got very very very sick. The dog was vomiting and had diarrhea and was violently ill. In a panic, we rushed to JYK Veterinary Clinic, without an appointment. We respected the sign that says please wait in the car, and understood there was someone who had an appt. We sat patiently in the car. Dr. Kim noticed us waiting in the car and was concerned and came out to see what was going on. He immediately took over and helped us with our sick puppy. I apologized for the panic and for showing up with no appt so early in the morning. He treated our puppy and we went home. He called us that evening to check on our dog. The next day our puppy was still very sick, so I called first thing in the morning. He calmed us down and talked us through everything, without asking us to come into the office. Mid-afternoon, I called because our puppy was very lethargic and was not eating or drinking fluids. He was concerned and advised us on where to take her after hours. As the evening progressed our puppy to a turn for the better. I couldn't wait to share the good news on Monday morning. To my surprise, my phone rang and it was Dr. Kim taking time out of his weekend in the evening to check and follow up on our puppy. You do NOT see this kind of treatment anymore. Dr. Kim is truly an amazing human being who really does care about his patients. He is conservative in his treatment approach, not racking up your bill, or scaring you with horrid what-ifs. Very level-headed and communicates with you in a very easy way to understand. Dr. Kim is absolutely an amazingly honest and reasonable person. He is calm and kind and understands that the animals who visit his office, are family to their owners.

We love coming here. They have great hours for people who work during the day! That's a huge bonus. Their visit fees are pretty low compared to other places I priced out. The doctor is always very good with the dog too which makes me more at ease when we have to go.

I moved 3 hours away and I will continue to bring my dogs to dr kim. Unlike some vet practices they do not sell you on medications, procedures, or any other services or products that are not essential to your pet's visit. The 3 hour drive is well worth the time and miles on the car to get honest work done on my dogs. This is not the cheapest practice but also not the most expensive in the sense you are never pressured or shamed into buying extra services not necessary!

I asked the doctor why his price is 30% more than few months ago, he got upset and impatient, he said I can go somewhere else, that's what I will do.

Dr. Kim is a very compassionate veterinarian. He has helped us with a couple of our pets, a cat and a dog. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to our animals health, and always remembers who they are and their history. I would highly recommend jyk Veterinary Clinic to anybody.

Good Place For Dogs & Cats For Sure

My 14 year old lab mix was suffering mostly from old age.I was reluctant to put him to sleep because he was still eating and seemed to be pain-free, and I did not want to lose him. He suddenly began having violent seizures. Two hours passed and it did not stop. He was thrashing violently, his jaw was snapping and his eyes were glazed. It was 8:30 at night and his condition precluded taking him out--It was very scary. I called Dr. Kim and explained the situation. Without hesitation he agreed to come within 45 minutes and euthanize my poor dog. Even though he normally does not do house calls and he did not know my dog or myself, he understood the urgency. He was great; kind, efficient, and completed everything within 15 minutes. I am hugely grateful for his kindness and that my dog was put out of his suffering. Dr. Kim is one of the very best. I am so grateful for this terrific doctor.
