A couple months ago after my wife just passed I had to have a lump looked at on my 11 YO pit bull. After seeing with what I think is a vet. He starts suggesting several other tests due to her age. It all seemed reasonable when talking to him. It was all ery hard to understand at the time as I was greving heavily. When the exam is finished a tech comes in and explains that the x-rays and tests would be almost $700 and the procedure to remove the lump would be $1500. I really didn't have the money at the time and got a very bad feeling about what I was being told fast forward to 3 days ago I call and schedule the procedure to go ahead and get my dog fixed up as I have the money. The test now cost almost $800. $100 more than quoted previously they now told me they'll need to amputate costing $2200. $700 more than previously quoted. scheduled the surgery. They call me to tell me she has a UTI and that I they have antibiotics for her. After just 2 doses of antibiotics the lump is physically smaller and she's walking much easier. I will be taking her for a second opinion. I really felt they were trying to take as much money as possible and disfigure my dog in the process. I wonder if they even took x-rays or blood work as I never saw results or images. I got a real "butcher shop" kinda vibe

Great vet! I was a new customer and wasn't sure what to expect. Service was friendly and we were in and out pretty quickly! The vet was really nice and understanding of our little dog's issue.

My Luna received the best care and love. The Dr. and staff were the best. There were no hidden prices. I was charged what I was told I would be charged.

This is an overdue review. I have been going here since 2010 and I took all of my pets here for their medical needs. This review is for my cat who died 2 years ago. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and she was getting insulin shots prescribed by the vet here. During the urine analysts, the doctor found out that she has a urinary tract infection and prescribed an antibiotics. After the first day of antibiotics, my cat was not eating anymore, and she could not lift her head. I called the vet and the receptionist (not sure if she was a technician) told me that go ahead and finish the antibiotics even though my cat wasn't eating. My cat stopped eating completely, and lethargic and she was dying. Eventually after 3 days, she died. Because of their advice to continue with the antibiotics, my cat who was fine before the medication died. Nothing can bring my cat back. The vet charged me $300 each day for hospitalization. I took her for 2 days and she still died. Do not take your pets here.

I referred a friend with a dog to the same vet not realizing they were conducting false diagnoses. We both got the EXACT same speech and performance from the vet when arriving only 1 week apart. They told us our dogs had ear infections despite making appointments for unrelated issues and no symptoms of typical ear infections. The Doctor showed us a camera of the "inner ear" of each of our dogs and said this was a SERVER infection and needed IMMEDIATE attention despite no previous indication of any related symptoms. We both agreed to letting them perform "Ear Flushes" which cost almost $250 and required us to sign away the possibility of our dogs going Deaf, sunken faces, and paralysis. We both agreed and paid, only to compare the EXACT same experiences. I was also told my dog needed a Stomach Surgery as a "preventative" measure to avoid Bloat. The doctor pulls up googled photos of bloat and tried to scared me into an unnecessary surgery when the PUPPY was only 3 months old! He told me Bloat is a common disease for German Shorthaired Pointers, only to find the EXACT opposite to be true after researching the disease. Furthermore, I recently ordered a flea medicine from a 3rd party called "Chewy". They require a vet's verbal approval of the medicine "NetGard". Chewy contacted the vet (Dr. Tran) at Friendly Animal Hospital and the order was Cancelled by them. I noticed my account said the order was cancelled so I called the office and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. They informed me their assistant manager, was out sick and they had no indication of when they would return. They confirmed she (the person out sick) was the only supervisor or manager for the facility. I proceeded to speak to the receptionist that answered the phone to inquire why they cancelled my order with Chewy rather than approving it? She looked up records and said she was not sure why they would cancel it, and my dog can be approved for medicine. She explained the office provides the SAME prescription and I could purchase them directly from the office. This is a clear indication they cancelled my order with Chewy to make it more coinvent to buy directly from them. I needed to call chewy and place another order, but this time chewy recommended I call the vet on three-way to confirm the order is placed and there should be no further confusion. The receptionist answered the phone and the hassle proceeded from there. I explained I have a third party on the line and needed to speak with the pharmacist for their approval. She left us on hold for almost 5 minutes, only to report I the pharmacist was on "break" and we would need to call back another time. I refused to allow this to continue and needed to demand speaking to someone that could approve the medicine for my pet. We proceeded to wait on hold for another 10 minutes. A women named "Jasmine" got on the line with Chewy and I claiming she already called Chewy that morning to approve my order. The representative from Chewy confirmed NO ONE CALLED THEM from the vet office as Jasmine indicated. This place is giving false diagnosis to pet owners, persuading owners to opt for unnecessary surgeries, and trying to monopolize their earnings.

The owners have no idea about good customer service. You can tell when they like a pet and when they don’t. Some doctors and techs are nice. Front staff is young, high turnover with staff. I would NOT recommend this place. The owner works Fridays and he isn’t very nice and belittles his staff in front of customers.

Took our dog there for the first time. Our dog is not the friendliest dog when meeting new people. The staff was amazing making my dog feel safe. It is great to find a vet that is caring and explains the different options for care and my dog is doing amazing.

The office staff is very friendly and professional. Dr Long Trần treats my dog very gently and he successfully treats her severe allergy . Even the cost is a little high but the result is there. I strongly recommend Dr Trần to all animal owners whose pet children have any health issue.

Everyone Is very nice and helpful, hence the name Friendly Animal Hospital. It’s not the cheapest but they do care and always try to work with you if there’s a less expensive option.

I have been a customer for 13 years. The first 11 or 12 were fine. Since then I have left feeling like I just left a crooked used car dealership. This time I had a 4:45 for 3 shots for my dog. It had already been changed once because the Veterinarian was in surgery. No problem, I would change it again if necessary. I was told the Veterinarian was again in surgery and would be until about 5. Not much of a problem. I finally got out of there about 6:30 with a $224 bill and medications for ailments discovered during the mandatory examination. A few days later I realized there weren’t enough pills to complete the number of doses prescribed. I returned to the office and was required to wait another 1/2 hour to get the pills. The final and biggest irritation was a sign on the front desk. It said emergency patients would be charged an additional $75 because they didn’t have an appointment. That is shameful. If your pet was attacked by. Coyote or hit by a car, you were going to be charged 75$ because you didn’t have much choice and needed their services then.

I came here because I knew it was on the cheaper end of veterinarian care. I just wanted to get a general exam of my new kitten. The front office staff was very nice and welcoming and quick with paperwork. But as soon as we got into the room I felt rushed. The doctor wanted to get out of there as soon as he could, and I was recommended a lot of very unnecessary procedures/care. In the least I got some good advice, however some of my questions were still not answered because the doctor rushed us out of the office then acted like he was doing us a favor giving us the visit for free when their website says all first time exams are free. Overall, it’s an okay animal hospital but I think next time I will be taking my kitten back to better vet that I’ve been to previously.

Not sure of the vet's name because he never told me, but he was an older man. All I needed was x-rays because my regular vet could not fit me in. I also paid extra to have a specialist look over them. When I called for the results, all the receptionist told me was that they are referring me to a cardiologist. They did not tell me anything that the x-rays revealed. I then told them that I wanted to go over what they found. I came in to get those results and the vet was extremely rude to me. All I needed, was to go over what the x-rays revealed. What I got instead was a lecture about how I shouldn't be going to different vets. Long story-short, the findings on the x-ray were PULMONARY related, and if I did not go in to see the report I would have wasted more time and money. I do not recommend this place. Friendly-LOL.

We needed the paperwork prepare for our dog to go on the international flight, they missed one treatment what caused us to go forth and back to the USDA, when I complained about it they explained to me I have to know all the requirement and ask for it. It is NOT their job to let me know which treatment my dog needs to fulfilled the requirement. Everybody makes sometime a mistake, however, only the people with responsibility would admit it they made one.

I took my 18 year old cat there, the Dr. was very kind and helpful. My boy cat usually doesn’t like men, but he really liked the vet and the staff there. We were able to be seen fast and got everything fixed. Now my cat is happy and relaxing at home.

During my last appointment at the hospital for my dog on May 26, 2021, the staff member was not polite and not treating customer with respect. As a result, I left without having my dog seeing the vet. I have 3 dogs going to this Friendly Pet Hosp. Guess where my dogs will go next time around!

Very rude and unprofessional. The doctor said that he didnt have time for my two cats because it was too late. All i wanted was some medicataon for the eye infection and he wanted to preform eye surgery when it was not necessary. He kept saying that he didnt know and that he was not an expert. He wanted to send us to an expert since he was not one. He wanted to charge us $175 dollars for vaccines but my cats needed to be treated for an infection.

I went in because my cat had a distended stomach. I explained that I was quite sure it was because of worms, but I brought her in just to make sure. I was told that the doctor wanted to run several test, totalling almost $900. I went ahead and settled for two tests, a stool analysis ($85) and an x-ray ($195). Upon getting the x-ray, the doctor said that the insides of my cat looked "very strange" and that the x-ray looked abnormal. She said that she highly recommended sending the images to specialists so that they could figure out what was wrong. I was also told I would get a detailed description of the findings. I agreed to pay the $170 extra dollars to send the x-rays out since the doctor made it seem like something was extremely wrong with my cat. After the consultation with the specialist, I was told that they found absolutely nothing abnormal. Furthermore, I was never given the detailed report, as promised. Feeling like I got scammed, I asked for them to waive the consultation fee, which they refused. I called to ask for a refund as I felt it was unfair of them to have charged me, and I was told that they would not do a refund. Lastly, they returned my cat in a carrier that was not mine. I have no clue whose carrier I got, but hopefully their cat did not have anything that could possibly be passed to my cat.

They gave my cat the wrong vaccine. Wish I could give no stars. Doctor said twice, once in a voice mail and a second time in person that they gave him the rabies vaccine when that wasn’t due until 2023. Then, the front desk tells me that my cat will be fine, that it’s ok if pets get that vaccine a year later instead of three. I sure hope he’s going to be fine, but also please be accountable for your negligence. They gave me back the paperwork showing only the vaccines he was supposed to get during the visit and not reporting that they gave him rabies as well. Just looks like they were trying to cover their mess up. I wasn’t ever super fond of their treatment here, and I should have trusted my gut and just gone to a different vet.

Dr Tran convince me to pull the baby dog’s teeth at the same time that I had the dog neuter. He said, if I don’t, it may create an impact to other teach. I said, no thank you and save me $. As the matter of fact, it fell off by itself a couple weeks latter. My dog have a normal set of teeth now.

I was very impressed and grateful for the urgent service that Friendly Animal Hospital provided for us with our puppy over the weekend. Our local vet was not open on Sundays and Friendly did not hesitate to help us with our emergency. Great staff and Dr. and they did a great job.

Dr Tran tries to add all kinds of charges. He wanted to hospitalize my dog for upset stomach. Bill would have been $1118.00. Go to the other two dr.s. they don't try to over charge

been here a couple times because they were open but honestly i’m not coming back anymore, they don’t really care and it shows, they didn’t make my pup or myself feel welcomed or comfortable, i felt like i was a bother, the only one that did try to make an effort was the man receptionist or dr. assistant i’m not sure his title i apologize but even the Vet was weird, he didn’t even tell me much while he was examining or if every thing was okay with my pups, then before i can ask about my concerns he left and didn’t come back he sent in the receptionist just to collect payment and that’s it, i had to ask if everything’s ok and with my questions i couldn’t even ask because he went into another appointment and i was going to have to wait until he’s done to be able to ask my questions..... even though i was before that appointment and was paying for his time but besides the point another thing was the wait time i waited more than 2 hours to be seen even though i had an appointment others were being seen for only 10mins of the Vet’s time ... even though they got there after me, but i know how things are so i’m not that person to complain until i feel like ok enough is enough my time is just as valuable as theirs, but every visit i feel like i’m just wasting time and money, it doesn’t feel like they even care about the pets just about money and saving time. hopefully it gets better but if you have a good visit then maybe it’s just preference when they want to be “good people” but who knows just sharing my experiences.
