I have taken my two dogs to Hollister Animal Hospital for 2-1/2 years. Dr Wilson was recommended to me since I was new to the Area. He is a good Vet but unfortunately his staff has turned out to be the rudest people I’ve encountered! I was told I didn’t have an appointment for my dog’s shot when I arrived at the clinic at the designated time. When I told the receptionist I had the reminder card she gave me, she requested that I show it to her as proof! Instead of apologizing for her mistake, she begrudgingly said we didn’t have an appointment for a check up but only a shot. I told her yes! I never said it was for a checkup. She begrudgingly asked a vet tech to administer the shot all the while never turning around to speak to me! Talking through a mask with her back to me! When I asked if they were stressed out because I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with the manner in which I was being treated, I was asked to leave!!! The manager said she wanted me to leave their office because I asked for the receptionist to apologize for her disregard of the entire situation. Unbelievable! I have seen the staff change multiple times during 2-1/2 years. I felt completely disrespected and uncomfortable and unappreciated by the staff members! I will not take my dogs back to this clinic!! I should add that I am of Asian, Caucasian decent. I’ve noticed the positive reviews appear to be from Caucasians? Draw your own conclusions..

Wonderful hospitality to bring your pets to five star in my book

You are able to get one appt and have a tumor removed from your pets ear all in one day. Grant it, the appt was four days to schedule. They did what was asked. And did a great job. Thank you.

Well organized, well run. Friendly staff. Separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. It isn't easy to notice from traffic and Google maps sends you into the housing area near the clinic. The entrance is on Monterey. Disregard what Maps tells you. The prices are extremely reasonable and this is one of the very few clinics that will work you in for an urgent appointment. They actually do care. The vets are very knowledgeable and give you several options whenever possible. This is much appreciated as we can't all afford the priciest option. My dog has seen several different vets there and I felt they were all interested in her and cared about her issues. They were all quite kind and gentle. The staff was also kind. They filled the prescriptions right there and the price was reasonable.

I"ve taken my little Shih-Tzu mix their twice. The first visit was a preliminary visit. The second and more important visit was for her to get spayed. Overall, they did a good for that procedure. They used newer methods (glue) to secure the area after completion, informed me of what was going to happen in the coming weeks, and made themselves available had I had any other questions. Pricing for both visits was reasonable. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was they got the date for my dog's procedure incorrect. This caused me to have to take a day off so that I could take her in and watch her after.

Dr. Wilson has been our family vet for the past 19 years. We have had experiences with other vets from San Jose to Santa Cruz when emergencies arise, or we're out of the area. Dr. Wilson is one of the smartest country-wise vets I have ever encountered. There are no smoking mirrors, or double talk to confuse you, just honest heartfelt concern for your animal.

Dr Flores was very nice and informative! They have always treated my animals well! My only complaint is the girl at the front desk!!! She really shouldn't lie to customers and treat them with a little respect!!!

Do a very good job on treating my pets

We have two dogs, so far we have only taken one there. The experience there with that Animal Hospital is wonderful. They are so caring, and you can tell they love animals, that means a lot. Wish there were more out there like them. I highly recommend them to everyone.
