This vet use to be the best in Apple Valley when they were at the old building. Since moving to the new location the new staff are EXTREMELY rude. Three appointments have all been late ranging from 45 min to 1hr 30min. No apologies no explanation. NOTHING. I took all my records and will be finding a new TIMELY vet. STAY AWaY unless you don’t value your time. After 7 years I’m done

Do not go here. When I was there, they told EVERY person to get various types of blood work done (especially kidney). Even if your animal is fine. They just want your money by saying you need to do all these tests.

Dr. Choi and his staff are caring individuals. Eventhough my baby's outcome was not good, the staff was very informative and caring re:the issue. Would recommend this as best place to go for pet care.

I took my Princess there to have her put to rest. She was very sick. They were very kind and comforting. It was a very hard time for me.

They have always treated my animals with care. I needed some paperwork transferred into my name for a pet and they were super helpful calling back & forth to get it handled.

My dog was quite ill and I was able to do a "walk in"and she was seen .

Only got a rabies shot for my baby, but the staff was friendly, and they took care of her fairly quickly, considering our current state of living (covid-time).

I have been here multiple times and I am basically disgusted with this place. The staff is not courteous- they will leave a person waiting at the desk for several minutes while they are chatting among themselves, some of it personal. They don't have the courtesy to look up and say, "We'll be with you in a moment." My pet had an eye removed and I couldn't get much information from the staff about post-op care, but they did bring the damaged cornea out to show me. Gee, thanks, like I needed to see that. She was on antibiotics and they messed up the dosing instructions. The instructions on the bottle said to take until gone- a 15ml bottle that would have lasted more than 2 months! I knew this was too much and asked about it during a recheck. I was told she should have stopped taking it days ago- like it was my fault. On top of that her eye still oozes fluid even months after surgery and the staff's favorite answer is "I don't know. The vet could answer that." Too bad I have never seen the vet or that they don't offer to go back and ask. I found a new place with courteous staff and efficient service and who asked if I had follow up questions. I was glad to see Samaritan in my rear view mirror.

We are military so we came from Fort Irwin after our dog was attacked at the dog park. I checked their hours on their website and it said they were open at 730, called the office to see if their voicemail said anything different and it didn’t, so we drove almost two hours to get there right when they opened only to be told we had to wait till 10 for walk ins. I asked if we could simply drop her off I was told no even though the 730 time was for drop offs for surgeries. So we waited around and when we went back at 10 we walked in and the staff didn’t acknowledge us because they were talking so when I went up to them they finally said “we have you checked in”. We waiting in the lobby for a good 15 mins just for a tech to come out and tell us it’s a “drop off and leave” type of appointment. Kinda got upset that I couldn’t have done that earlier but it’s whatever at this point. I get told it could be up to 4 hours because they didn’t know what all needed to be done so we left back to fort irwin…just to be called 20 mins later that the vet took a basic look at our dog and said “it’s already healing I’m not going to do anything”. Besides being annoyed at that they did take the time do get her up to date on all her shots and I was able to get her flea/heart worm prevention at a decent price but never got to see the vet for them to explain why they did nothing for her bites. Overall for an “emx” exam, vaccines and pills was only 255$ so decent pricing is what saved the appointment. My dog is like my child so I can be a little judgmental of places at first. I’ll give it another try and update if it goes one way or another.

*We are so disappointed we have been going here for years for puppies check ups. Then our worst nightmare came true with them not washing their hands or cleaning/satanizing what they put the animals on, and all our puppies which were great until after their check up pick up a terrible parasite which caused two to pass away. We can never go back there again and are devastated.

Called to set an appointment for two new puppies. They were very helpful in answering all of my questions and setting an appointment.

Great vet, reasonably priced, friendly and great and taking care of my Mavis and get injured leg. Broken toe is healing yay!!! Highly recommended

I love all the people in this office, everyone is so nice and when the doctor talks to you it’s all detail. I will never go to another veterinarian for my pit Bull, I want to thank all the staff and doctors there from the bottom of my heart! Thank you

Took my dog sick, and they told me to come back! I went around with so many vets, clinics, had to put my dog to sleep, he was in to much pain, for to long!????

my cat is in severe need for care, i have gone in saturday at 1pm and they said they can’t take her in because they are closing (they close at 3 on saturdays), i took her again today (monday) since they’re closed on sundays just to be turned down again. my cat has been hyperventilating and driving all the way to the shelter just to come back has only made her symptoms worsen; she’s been crying and wheezing for the past week, i had to start a donation fund to pay to take her in. she stopped eating and drinking, she hasn’t had a bowel movement in over a week. watching them refuse care is beyond unprofessional when she’s in desperate need of it.

We were a walk in and sat there 2.5 hours before someone told us that they were at capacity and could not see us! Waste of time! Some communication would of been nice. We use to go to their office in AV and since they moved to their new location they became too busy! Bring your AV office back!!

I love this vet. He is the best in the high desert. Take all my fur babies here.
