Petco Hesperia, California

I have been going to Petco since November 2021 for puppy training for my Cane Corso Mystikal. Our trainer name is Rachel she is very patient and great with puppy's and dogs. Rachel has given me great skills to help me with Training and obedience for my 6 month old puppy. I am currently moving on to Adult training and Picking Petco for training is one of the best decisions I have ever made

I like the fact that they carry a little bit of everything for my critters.

I always find what I need for my cat's , dog's and my bird .always friendly employees

Never enough people to help. Asked 3 times for someone to help get fish, finally gave up and didnt but anything

Visited this location 1/19/22 @ approximately 8:00-8:20 pm, employees were rude, appeared to be on the phone and customer service was hideous, as they did not greet customers or thank them for visiting. So glad I decided not to support this business. I don't know who hires these non professional, rude, entitled individuals, but, it's definitely a bad look. This location used to be so friendly and pleasant, however, this experience was anything but. Management needs to review the cameras so you can see the treatment and behavior that's uncalled for. Won't be back and will let friends, family, ECT., know about this location and experience.

Friendly staff, very clean store and I appreciate the variety of fish they have!

Not a huge selection at this store it is a bit smaller than other petcos. Also tried the 1 on 1 personal dog training had to stop halfway through I don't feel it was worth the investment as I came to the realization my dog breed was smart and well behaved on their own.

It's kinda a smaller store didn't have what I was looking for but nice enough store for pet food and treats

Nice staff, they checked the chips for all 3 of our dogs to make sure they worked.

They have 4 carts.... for the ENTIRE store. Are you kidding me? And when I go I need a bunch of items usually, bulky or heavy so I need a cart 4 carts? Come on

Very easy to Find what i need

it had lots of clothes for dogs.

I found the pet products that I was searching for, I found assistance in a fairly short period of time, and that employee was very polite and helpful.

I used to think this petco was great but I can’t stand by that. It’s so hard to get help in fish department really hard. The line to check out can be long sometimes. Overall still a decent store. Key for toilet. I never like that… Decent size store with good selection of stuff for all types of animals. I think petco should hire more employees. I think it would create better customer service.

This location was ok, a typical Petco. I went to get doggy beds but unfortunately, they didn't have the size I need. They only had large dog beds and only the very small beds - for cats!

Good people help alot

I chose an 8 because the people are great, however I was bummed to not be able to hold an animal unless I purchased one/it. I understand it is due to covid. Still bummed. Also I wish the reptile supplies were more abundant. I chose a 9 for likely to return because like I said the people are great and I live close by. Sometimes I will choose not to shop there due to lack of options for my needs, and price.

To start things off this location is clean, organized, and well kept. It is pretty easy to find what I am looking for. The animal enclosures all look clean and safe. It’s like a mini trip to the zoo…haha :D My complaint is that employees seem to lack knowledge about the animals they are selling. A few years ago when I bought a hamster from here, an employee tried selling me a critter trail cage. *thumbs down* :( Another strange experience recently would be when buying a bird. They were understaffed with one person working the checkout. A dog groomer had to handle the bird and was having a really hard time getting it out of the enclosure. :o

Never again will take my fur baby their for grooming!!! They knicked him he was terrified. Not only did they knicked him but they did not informed me that they had done so and about 2 days later I notice him scratching in his ear and I check and there is a big open cut now where he had been scratching took him to the vet and the vet told me if he had a grooming. Thay most likely knocked him the vet said and he just scratched it open ???? ????
