I love my mini australian shepherd mickey to a terminal cancer. Being a flight crew for an international carrier , I am always out of the country , Mickey passed away on a sunday , I called up a dozen cremation services and nobody offers a same day , pick up his ashes the following day service (viewing my love one for the last time). Logan and Mr john Lender the owner of this business are the BEST compassionate gentle people I have ever encountered in this time of unimaginable grief. Mr John Lender having met in person is truly the most genuine and down to earth person I have ever met . One of the hardest and most sorrowful in life is saying goodbye to your 4 legged companion , Thank you very much Mr lender for making it easier for me and my family. Marshall and Krista

We lost our cat in December that has been with us the better part of 16 years. We were devastated but the crew at Rainbow Bridge Pet Services handled our case with care and compassion. We dropped our beloved boy off with them on a Thursday afternoon. Rainbow Bridge did the cremation Friday morning so we had him back by Friday afternoon. It was a private cremation and they even offered to let us be present at the cremation if we wanted to. They provided a beautiful Rosewood box for his ashes, hair clipping, and a small memory vial of ashes along with the certificate of cremation and a poem. We paid $25 extra for a clay paw print which we thought was very reasonable and we’re so glad we got it. Rainbow Bridge is a smaller family run business and they provided this service for a reasonable cost – the same or better price than many of the larger facilities that take weeks to return the ashes. They did a beautiful job and we would recommend them to anyone in need.

I was looking for same day cremation for the death of my dog that morning, and it was already almost noon and all of the other places I had called could fit me us the next day at the earliest. Mr. Lender made a special trip out to his facility just for us so we could could have it done that same day. He was respectful and kind, and in talking with him it was clear that he knew what we were going through and treated little Coby with the same respect and love that we had treated him with all of his life. We are very appreciative of Mr. Lender and those at Rainbow Bridge, and would recommend them to anyone who is in the tremendously sorrowful circumstance of requiring the services that they provide.

I will forever be grateful to Rainbow Bridge Pet Services for helping us during such a difficult time. The owner John Lender provided an exceptional service and a quick turnaround time. We appreciated the sense of urgency to get him back home to us.

I am very grateful for Rainbow Bridge. My dear little rat was old and ill. When he passed away I was so full of sorrow, but also filled with anxiety because I didn't have anything planned for his final resting place. This was my first full responsible pet so I was clueless on my options for cremation. I contacted 3 places and Rainbow Bridge replied to me the very next day. They made the whole process simple and stress free. It felt like I was talking to an acquaintance rather than a business. The decor on the box is beautiful and I was surprised to see a clipping of my baby boy's fur. It was very touching. Im very thankful for all they've done to help me and my boy.

We recently lost our beloved Westie, Coco. Other than the family dog when I was a child, Coco was my only dog, so losing him was really difficult. Mr. Lender made us feel as if I’ve lost a member of my family, and reassure us that he was in good hands. He delivered the ashes when he said they would be ready, and they were nice place in a box. Mr. Lender made us feel that our dog and ourselves were special. We highly recommend his services.

My childhood pet was a cockatiel & he lived a long life at 30 years. He was living with my parents & when my dad called to tell me he had passed I was devastated & didn't know what to do. He was family. I called Rainbow Bridge & they were great. I would highly recommend them. RIP Lucky

Rainbow Bridge Pet Services treated my beloved pet with care and kindness. John Lender handled our case himself and he picked up my deceased pet early and did everything he said he would do. I'd never had a pet cremated before and John answered all my questions with patience. I hope it won't be for a really, really long time, but I will use Rainbow Bridge Pet Services again and would recommend them to a friend!

Rainbow Bridge Pet Services is one of a kind. They have helped us twice with the most recent 4 weeks ago when my best friend; my girl; the love of my life lost her battle with cancer. John Lender was here and entered very respectfully and quietly when my PUP took her final breath. Their compassion is unmatched. I cannot thank them enough. Highly recommend.

Rainbow Bridge's service was excellent! They were very punctual with communication and carrying out their service; from picking up my dog's body at the local vet hospital to cremating his body, to making his remains available for me to pick up. I highly recommend their service! (My only complaint is a very small one. They advertise their price to be in the range of $250-$350. Yet, I was charged $400. Even so, I was glad to pay this because of their great service.)

I am forever grateful to have found Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. Both times I spoke with Zane on the phone to inquire and set up arrangements for our Beloved Zoey, Zane was very professional and patient on helping me figure things out. We chose to be present to say our final goodbyes to Zoey. It was a blessing to find a local place that would allow us to do this, as I feel that we were able to have more closure this way. John Lender was wonderful. He helped distract our minds throughout this heartbreaking day with plenty of conversations. He has such true compassion for animals and it truly shows. John Lender from Rainbow Bridge could not have been more compassionate in assisting me with the passing of dog. Bailey, a Bernese Mountain Dog, was the best dog I have every owned and was a huge part of my life. Bailey's cancer was very aggressive and he had begun to suffer which broke my heart. I reached out to John after I had made the decision to put him down and he explained the entire procedure and was extremely understanding. The vet came to our house to put Bailey down and John waited, just as he said he would, in his car until the procedure had been done. John waited patiently as I held Bailey after he was gone so I could say a final goodbye to my best friend. He asked if I was ready and came in and very carefully wrapped Bailey in a blanket and took him away. The next afternoon, as promised, I picked Bailey up and also had two imprints of his paw, one for me and one for my son who had flown up from Mississippi, made for us. Again, Rainbow Bridge and Mr. Lender made one of the worst days of my life slightly more bearable with the tremendous service they provided. John is nothing but AMAZING! My sweet greedy bird passed over on a Sunday, after calling multiple places closer to where I live, John answered immediately and calmed my “hot mess” self down. After letting my other birds and dogs say goodbye John even offered for me to bring him at that very moment! He walked me through the process and less then 24 hours later my beautiful baby was back home in his resting spot! As much as I never want to say goodbye to any of my fur babies, They will always be my go to place! Plus the ride is beautiful and peaceful!

I drove over an hour to have my dog cremated here, just from the phone call with them. Amazing people, excellent service, not only was it a fast process but the paw print was amazing, the lock of hair and vial of ash just added to it. Highly recommend this company and its owner and son. Very cool people...will definatly use them in the future

When our dog passed unexpectedly last month, we retained the Rainbow Bridge Pet Services to handle her individual cremation. They were very respectful throughout the process. From the driver who took my call and picked her up within a few hours to the receptionist who gave me her remains a few days later. Their base service included the individual cremation, a beautiful rosewood box with the ashes, a small memorial vial of ashes, and a small container of her fur. We "added on" her paw print in clay and for the company to pick her up and transport her to their facility. I highly recommend them.

Zane and John were absolutely wonderful! Zane was very professional and caring on the phone and helped figured out the best way to get our sweet little pup, Little bear, taken care of. When arriving to drop Little bear off John was wonderful! He told me the process and told us every little detail we needed to hear. I love how they are open 24/7, there is no doubt they are animal lovers. Thank you all so much for taking care of little bear. I'd love to say we won't be back but when the time comes for our other pups we will definitely be in contact! Have already recommended you all by word of mouth! Thanks again!

Responsive, efficient, flexible and affordable cremation for our beloved dog in a difficult time for our family.

Losing a pet is never easy and during such a difficult time I am glad I was able to find Rainbow Bridge pet service. We wanted to be able to bring our Ozzy back home once he passed so our other pups could say goodbye. We called on Saturday morning and Zane picked up the phone walking us through the process. He helped answer all our questions and made us comfortable knowing that our Ozzy would be treated with care and respect. We met John the owner later that day when we dropped off Ozzy and his kind words helped ease some of the pain knowing we had to say goodbye to our boy. Just knowing that this kind person who loves animals as much as we do was the one taking care of this process just confirmed that I made the right decision in reaching out to them. The drive was beautiful and calming and when we picked up his ashes on Monday the staff at the office was so kind to us and offered their condolences. While we hope that we will not have to use them again anytime soon we do know that if we do they will be the ones that we go to for all our pets. Unexpectedly we lost our sweet guinea pig Leo. We will miss his chirps and squeaks of delight. After searching the web I came across their webpage and called them and talked to Zane. He understood the pain that we were feeling. We took our Leo out to the site in Lovettsville and they took care of the cremation for us. I was overwhelmed when I picked him back up today. They had gave us a memory box with a cutting of his hair and some of his ashes and the rest was in this beautiful wood box. I would recommend them to anyone. They did our Leo justice. Thank you. We recently lost our beloved cat Taz. It was devastating for our whole family. Called Zane to arrange for crematory services so we may feel like our best friend would always be with us. Zane and John were awesome to deal with. They made the arrangements and got Taz back to us the next day. It helped to bring a quick closure to the experience. We have used Rainbow Bridge for the cremation of two of our beloved cats, and we couldn’t have asked for more caring, prompt, snd compassionate services. They went out of their way to arrange everything, and even offered home delivery to bring our beloved pets home to us. Definitely 5 star service!

Having to say goodbye to this wonderful family member was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. We spoke with Zane and instantly got a good feeling about how Rainbow Bridge cared about our pet and all the sadness and emotions we were feeling. We knew our Hunter would be treated with the utmost care and dignity he so deserved. We coordinated the timing of the Vet arriving and Zane coming to pick him up. Having him pass in his own home with family was important to us. We met John who was also very comforting to us and how he handled the Cremation. It touched our hearts for John to tell us our Hunter was a good looking dog, When we went to pick up Hunter's ashes the beauty of the area made us feel good that our Bluetick Hound would have loved the land and had that hound dog nose to ground in delight roaming the area. We lost our boy after 18 wonderful years and found John at Rainbow Bridge by referral. Having this private personal experience gave me the piece of mind I needed to say my goodbyes.
