I have had 3 of my pups at this location. I feel like they help me instead of recommend a bunch of unnecessary tests and charges. I lost one of my pups and the vet followed up with me on everything via email and I thought that was very amazing of her and thoughtful. I tried to take my bunny here and they unfortunately don’t take bunnies but immediately referred me to another amazing vet office that helped me out. I unfortunately lost my bunny but they also were nothing short of amazing (Park Animal Hospital). I will continue going here for my 2 remaining pups with no hesitation.

Why does it take an hour to drop off for boarding? It’s the most inefficient setup I’ve ever seen.

Dr Reese and Dr Hamilton are simply wonderful. We had two dogs. We've been clients there for about 14+ yrs. They were so helpful when one of the dogs was diagnosed with cancer. I appreciated their care and help. Wanda

Dr. Reese is the best vet we've ever had to care for our cats. I like that she is honest with her diagnosis and welcomes questions and works with us for the best solutions. Highly recommend!

Good luck getting test results. If everything's fine......you won't even get a call!!!! You just get to wait 2 days for a call that's NOT coming & wait on hold just to learn you weren't important enough to call. Meanwhile you're wondering "Is my pet going to be ok?" I've had good experiences in the past but this left a very BAD impression on me.

I have been taking my dog to them for 14 years. They give good service and my dog is well taken care of. They aren't pushy in making you have tests done if you don't want them. The front office people are always friendly and helpful. Dr Reese is so caring as well as the other vets working there.

We took our 8week kitten here this pass weekend, November 6 because of a dry patch he had on his neck. The vet let us know it was ringworm and also let us know that there are different types of ringworm. She also let us know it could be contagious. We have 5 kids and also another 7 month old kitten and I let her know I was worried about our children and our other kitten. She let us know that it will cost $92 to do the test to let us know if it was contagious and what type of ringworm. We paid the 92 for the test to have peace of mind. They let us we would know by Monday morning with the results..Well it is Monday now and my husband has already called two times, once in the morning and they let him know the results are IN but ONLY THE VETERINARIAN can tell us about the results and they let us know she will call us soon. My husband called again in the afternoon because we still had not heard back, same answer, the results are in but we would have to wait for the Vet to talk to us about the results . My husband explained how important it was to know if the ringworm is contagious or not. They said the Veterinarian would return our call as soon as possible. It is almost 3pm, they close at 5pm, they honestly do not care and it makes me sad to know our poor baby kitten has to be quarantined until we know the results of his test. Our bill was almost $200, with the medication plus the office fee and the $92 for the test. They were friendly and caring when taking our money. Why lie to us, and tell us you will call us Monday morning right away with the results? Iam sorry but I do not recommend you take your pets here.

The communication here is terrible. First of all, I had an appointment for my dog to get spayed and they never told me that she wasn’t suppose to eat the night before so I had to go somewhere else weeks later. Also, I wanted my dogs records so I could send her to daycare and it took them 7 days to send it to me after asking 3 times. The last straw was when I called to get her some eye drops for her eye infection and they said it will take 48-72 hours for the drops to come. Then 4 days later they told me that they have to see her before sending they eye drops!

This place saved my 9 month old pup's life! Dr. Dours and the whole Valley Ranch team were committed to figuring out what was wrong, communicated with me so well, and worked tirelessly to figure out Sadie's rare condition. Thank you so much for the time, energy, expertise, and consultation you put into saving Sadie. I look forward to spending a lot of time with you all as we manage her condition through her LONG life! ❤

Denied service today for politely declining to cover my nose and mouth to sit in the far corner of the lobby, nowhere near any other customers. If your businesses chooses to enforce this tyranny and discrimination, that is your choice. I just wanted you to know why I choose not to spend my hard earned money at your establishment ever again.

I took my new puppy to this vet because all of my neighbors love them. Anytime I call there, I'm always on hold for at least 10 min before I can even talk to someone. I went to my first appointment and waited 20 minutes. They did a fecal test to make sure my puppies issue was not worms. They told me they would call me with results within 48 hours. 72 hours later I didn't receive any call so I called and she told me the doctor would call me back, which she didn't. Today is day #4 of STILL no results and I was told again that the doctor would call me back and AGAIN no call back from the doctor. I'm seriously about to go into the office tomorrow morning and demand to speak with someone. Now I'm worried my dog has worms or a parasite because if the results were negative then can't they just tell me that over the phone? What result constitutes the doctor needing to talk to me? It's kind of negligent on their part because if there is something wrong then shouldn't I be told right away? Needless to say, I'm not going back to this office.

Our original vet retired so we asked neighbors for recommendations and several recommended Valley Ranch. We've been very pleased. The vets and staff are very friendly and have provided great service. Be patient in getting your pet seen. They are short staffed due to the COVID pandemic.

This is what I was asked: "How could we have made your experience even better?" My answer: "Believe me your team already did. I am deeply grateful." Thank you. Sincerely, Mrs. Ramona Blanton Faith's Non-FurMommy P.S. If anyone really wants to know you can contact me by commenting below, that is if there is a place and I would be honored in answering in tons of words. The Dr. that our Faith had visited is now her primary care and the staff at the front desk are thee bestiest I had ever had as well.

My 18yo indoor cat had what looked like blood in his stool. I reported this to the receptionist. I was told I could bring in a sample, which I did. I called the next day and was told the results were negative for worms and parasites. They did not check for blood. I was told the test they did wasn't able to detect blood. A different test, which they did not do, could detect blood but would also require a vet visit. I did not receive this information until the day after I was charged $28 for a test that did not detect what I requested and thought I was paying for. I expressed my disappointment regarding efficiency of their front office and was told I was assisted by "the new girl". They did not offer to refund $28, nor did they show concern for my cat who might have blood in his stool. This is not the first experience I've had with inefficiency at this clinic. The Vetrenary care may be good, but the service at the front desk is not.

Professional services are procured based on qualifications and performance. Not cost and compromising considerations! Dr. Reese, the staff and Valley Ranch Animal Hospital have provided my family, my pets, the full array of services and have proven professional, consistent and qualified. For years! I don't "value shop" my loved ones health care, so I refrain from comment on "costs" to not enable such "non-considerstions". I do offer high regard when giving a recommendation.
