My buddy moose isn’t that fond of the place but I think angels work here they are so knowledgeable, kind and I wouldn’t think of going somewhere else, highly recommended

I brought my chihuahua Sancho to be seen and they were so wonderful with him. He simply adores all the ladies he met. He loved the nurse and the doctor so much. Even after hims rabies shot. Lol Thank you all for your kindness.

Great vets!! But there is one lady in the front office who is horrible. They probably think I am horrible too but atleast I would not take out my dislike of a customer on there pet.

I have been a client of Dr. Dave's for over 25 years. He is the BEST and only vet I trust. He and his staff are stellar and over the lifespan of 5 dogs, going on 6, he became part of my family.

Dr. Dave and his staff were saints with end of life care of our sweet dog, and even made a house call at the end. They were so empathetic yet professional, and it made the process of saying goodbye comforting for us. HUGE gratitude to them.

We have a troublesome feral friend who NEVER stays inside. I’ve been able to take him there twice. Such great professional outfit, Dr McKristol is a longtime Healdsburg foundation. Such a caring soul, all of the staff.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable, and caring. Highly recommend. We take our dog and cats for preventive care and one had serious issues which required hospitalization. The happily fixed the "emergency" vets mistakes and the follow up has been amazing. Loki the cat endorses this recommendation.????

Excellent care. Dr. McCrystal is a treasure. He has taken such good care of our pets and has skillfully and humanely euthanized them when the time came. Dr. Basurto is also an wonderful vet. We couldn't be happier with the care we have gotten at Healdsburg Veterinary Hospital.

They have been taking care of our animal's for over 45 years ( Pig's, Goat's, Cat's, & Dog's) they are the very best, the whole staff are careing loving people.They treat us and our fur babies like we our family . We love each and everyone of them.

For over 30 years this practice has given my pets loving first rate care at very reasonable prices. I can't recommend it more.

Entire staff are excellent. Never had to wait more than 5 mins. Life saving surgery to remove 5 lb tumor on my German Shepherd was successful and the tumor stayed gone. I can't say enough good things about this well respected clinic!

Nice people who are capable, but I had to stop going there after they continued to recommend Starr Pet Resort in Windsor for boarding pets. Following their recommendation, I left my Belgian Malinois puppy at Starr Pet Resort when I went on vacation last year. I had to come back a day early to pick my dog up at the hospital where Starr Pet Resort had dumped her off after they broke her leg. Not only did I get stuck with a huge doctor bill as Starr Pet Resort does not have insurance, but the owner threatened to call the sheriff and have me arrested if I didn't come in the next day and pay his boarding bill. I let Dr. McCrystle know what happened, and to my surprise, on my next visit a few months later, Starr Pet Resort was still their number one recommendation. I asked Dr. McCrystle why they were still recommending Starr Pet Resort and he said he would look into it and get back to me. I recently called to get my dog a flu shot, and when I inquired about boarding, I was told once again to go to Starr Pet Resort. I emailed Dr. McCrystle and told him that I didn't feel comfortable bringing my dog to someone who continues to recommend an establishment as unprofessional as Starr Pet Resort. I don't know what his relationship is with the owners of Starr Pet Resort, but he basically told me to take my business elsewhere, and I did.

Dr. Basurto is not only a fantastic vet but a great person. Our six year old dog Gus had back surgery for a disc herniation and has had some very difficult days. She has really helped us manage his recovery and has been there for us over and above what anyone could ask for. We can't say enough of how appreciative we are. We would recommend her and the wonderful staff for any pet owner. Their service, care and compassion for pets and their humans is invaluable. Thank you Dr. Basurto and staff!

Best vet in area. There is only one Dr. McCrystal. He is one of last small town vets with the abilities to care for all animals. He is not one to do tests or try to force you to do tests that will not improve your animals life. If you care for your animals and want to be treated with respect. Healdsburg vet is where you want to trust. Thank you for the guidance.

Healdsburg Veterinary Hospital has extremely caring, professional and knowledgeable staff. The facility is nice and very clean. We would recommend there services to anyone. We always have a rest experience here. Dr. Basurto and the crew are always very helpful and really great with my pets. They have a puppy plan where you pay $450 ish and it covers your pup for all visits and check ups until 6 months.

First review I have ever written about ANYTHING - Healdsburg Veterinary Hospital has taken care of my pooch for the last 10 years. Dr. Dave is a wonderful vet - very knowledgeable, gentle and kind - and Dr. Basurto is equally excellent. We drive a serious distance to see these docs, because I know that my dog will get the best of care. In our experience, the staff are equally caring - generous with their time, concerned about the animals who visit the doctor. If my old dog could write, he would give a glowing review - he actually likes to visit the vet, and when he's ill, he understands that these guys will make it better. If I could add an extra star for the doctors and staff at Healdsburg Veterinary Hospital, I would. They are the best!
