We are very grateful for the doctors and nurses who took such a great care of our kitty Manchi. Thank you for accommodating us on the same day. She is recovering very well and is finally pain-free. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dr. Sirtaj, is very passionate and compassionate. My pup has an eye issue. He did thorough check up and suggested a surgical procedure and referred me to ophthalmologist. Since I am from out of state, his love of animals made him go above and beyond to call out of state opthalmologist to ensure an immediate appointment for my puppy so that his issue will be taken care as soon as possible. I had taken my older puppies also to consult with him. His communications with the pet owners makes us feel comfortable. Thank you Doctor!

Had complained thru their email about how unprofessional Dr Sirtaj Gill was to me and only response was “ Understood”. I was expecting more from them. This tells me that they do not care what your complaint is. I will not recommend this clinic.

I highly recommend! It's been so hard to get appointments with my primary veterinarian and this case wasn't necessarily an emergency so I didn't want to go to OakVet but I did need to see someone soon. OakVet recommended Hayward Animal Clinic. I called them and they were able to see me quickly, same day. I dropped off my little girl and did intake. The whole process was smooth and easy. I immediately felt that my little girl was in good hands. My cat needed to get one of her nails removed. They assessed her and informed me of the next steps to treat her. I was immediately sent a estimate, to which I agreed with. I got a call an hour later to pick up my girl. The vet explained the issue more clearly in person and was very thorough! Over all, I feel like I experienced very high quality of care, fast and easy service, along with kind and great customer service. I live in Oakland and will keep taking my girl to her regular vet but I have complete trust in HAC and will happily take her back. -cinthya & gorda

Prices are way too high. And they keep closing for covid exposure so not reliable. I went to another vet to get an estimate for my dogs dental surgery and they charged $400 less than what HAC was charging. They justified it by saying that my dog is 8 years old and therefore considered a senior. Go to Newark pet clinic if you want great care with reasonable prices.

Awesome staff and extremely informative. I bring my black cat here for check ups and he doesn’t seem to hate them. i’ve taken him to other vets and he always comes back growling at the staff when they’re putting him in my car. i’m glad to have found a great neighborhood friendly vet. :)

Price is reasonable. Dr. Gill is a very professional doctor. Very detailed reports, explanations, calls me back on his own time even when he's out of the office. He is very attentive and very patient in explaining. I very much appreciate his care and his professionalism for Dee. I would recommend everyone to come here including my friends.

We found a puppy wandering the streets while walking our dogs. She was very friendly so we were able to put her on a leash. She seemed like she was well cared for and had just escaped the house. We tried calling Hayward Animal Clinic to see if they could scan her microchip so the owners could be notified, since we found the puppy a couple minutes away from the parking lot. The front desk person, after conferring with the staff, point blank refused to help and asked us to take the puppy to the county shelter. We were hoping to let the owners know right away so they would be comforted knowing their pup is okay. Did not expect a family vet to behave in such a commercial way. Just because we weren't bringing business does not mean you refuse help to the community around you.

This clinic provided the worst experience I’ve ever had with healthcare. I brought my 4 month old Australian Shepherd to this place, hoping for proper care. But there level of unprofessionalism, was really mind blowing. I received other dogs paperwork twice, they made me pay $431 to diagnose my dog with a UTI, than later found out she never had one. I paid to get my dogs nails cut, they cut 2 paws, than left the rest....Please do not go here, I recommend Broadway Pet Hospital. They actually cared for my dog

A bit disapointed that after dropping off my pet and paying $122 for exam and medication her wound wasn't even bandaged or cleaned to prevent her from dripping blood everywhere. I was told there was a bandage fee after the fact and when she was already brought out to my car.

Very responsive, including drop-off appointments. Everyone was professional, kind, and highly communicative. Dr. Sirtag and terrific team thoroughly examined and diagnosed our 15 year old cat mindful of age and the stress involved in a car ride to the vet. Highly recommend this team.

The doctor and staff were both very responsive and thorough. They all took the time to educate me and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them.

When someone makes an appt for a certain time, acknowledge the customer when they are standing there with their now dead pet, old Roscoe is no longer

This is a great clinic and I'm so glad they are here serving the Hayward area. The team is extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. We got the puppy package for our new Shiba Inu - and it was a great value since everything was covered, including a free pedicure! I definitely recommend this clinic if you are in the area!

Sadly my dog Koa passed away. This clinic helped my dog after his passing. The staff was so attentive and carrying it really made me feel like family. If I ever get another dog this is the vet I will do my care ????????????????

Staff is super nice. Very easy to get an appointment on especially when all the vets are booked weeks later. Contactless dropp off. I have been here couple times for my cat when she had fever, vaccination and spay surgery.(price was decent) I would give 4.5 if I am allowed but I can't give a 5 for thr following reason. My cat had her surgery here and she was given a very cheap plastic e-collar(charged me 12bucks). When I picked her back up, they told me to be careful about my cat taking off the collar because she had already taken it out couple times there. I was like ok? For sure, when I got home, my cat could take out the collar no matter how many times I put it back on. So they knew it would happen and didn't fix it to prevent it to happen. Then I had to get a soft collar , but it took 2days. Thank God my cat was not obsessed with licking her incision. In short, they could have provided the soft collar or at least an option to buy. Take away : buy your own soft collar before hand.

After bringing my dog in for a tick I tried to remove and was unsuccessful they gave me no antibiotics in case of infection My dog then started showing signs of infection peeing excessivly. And the smell of the urine is terrible. This place is very poor quality I spent 400$ and they didn't solve the problem terrible place

The Dr was very informative and took all the time to answer all of my questions and made reasonable recommendations to save money and get an accurate diagnosis. I look forward to raising my puppy with this clinic.

My cat stopped eating and drinking for two days. I called Hayward Animal Clinic at 7pm at night, got an appointment for the next day at 9:30. We were out in 45 minutes with an all better kitty.

This is my first pet, I didn't know what he needed or what to expect. I was informed of everything he needed an what was best for him. He came out of the clinic, happy an no problem at home. Thank you everyone,for helping Dodger.

Came in last minute and they were able to accommodate accordingly. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful from the start of the phone call to bringing my stray kitten in. Dr. Gill was patient and informative in advising what to do next with the stray.

I took a trapped feral cat in and they were able to take her that day, another day I was not so lucky-I did not understand this is the only Dr in the area doing low cost spay/neuter on certain days during Covid-19. I held on to the second trapped feral cat for another day, took her in and was treated very well. Wonderful Dr & staff, professional and full of heart. I highly recommend this veterinary office to everyone.
