We go here for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. This vet is for our primary vet. We are happy with here.

They'll tell you anything to make more money. My dog hates going to them.

The doctor and staff at this hospital have been very kind to me. They treat my pet with care. The doctor that we've seen has been sweet and and professional. It's all in the name!

I've taken my Dog here on a few occasions for various reasons and the Vet has always been nice and helpful. Very easy to drop by for refills on flea medication and such. This place will always be my go to animal clinic.

Nice one on one service. The assistant was very attentive and willing to work out a caring cat plan for us. I had a chance to speak with the Dr. before hand and he had a nice calmness about himself. I plan to return for my follow-up visits.

Dr. Mangat has taken such wonderful care of my dog. He has gone above and beyond and I am so grateful for a local trustworthy and caring vet.

We needed to update our two cats' vaccines and Caring Pet Hospital was helpful in getting our appointment setup very quickly. The vaccination process was simple and the doctor who administered them was knowledgeable and kind. Outside of that though, the place seemed disorganized and gave off a slightly stressful vibe. We're used to going to Chabot Vet Clinic and would highly recommend you go there if they're available. They are much more organized and, well, caring, despite this place's name. One of the assistants was clearly very unhappy with her job or coworkers and was expressing that under her breath while in the room with us. Not very professional or reassuring.

I went here with a friend and I couldn't help to notice that the doctor was very slick and used a combination of unnecessary shots and postponing some work until the next day in order to get the absolute most money out of my friend.. The cat needed 3 teeth pulled and he wanted to pull one today and 2 tomorrow. And when my friend decided to just wait until tomorrow for all the work the doctor then gave the cat a $160 shot for pain. What should have been a $30 dollar visit became $190 dollar visit in a matter of seconds. And who knows how much the real work is going to cost.. I personally think this place is sly and very underhanded. And I also believe they are very skilled in squeezing the absolute most money they can from you. But to be fair to these guys i should say at least they are polite about it. And maybe all veterinary clinics are the same way when it comes to money.. So i guess people need to judge them themselves.

Had to find a vet urgently for a stray cat with some respiratory issues and wasn't able to eat. Caring Pet was the only one able to see us the next day. I was very pleasantly surprised when the vet did not suggest that full blood work and x-ray. Instead he examined the cat thoroughly, diagnosed a sinus problem, gave it a couple of injections, and sent us home with meds and instructions for a follow-up. The last vet I went to in Castro Valley started well but was churning the cats for $$$, and was not as experienced. I'm somewhat optimistic that I may have found my new vet.

First time here, and we love this place doctor took care of our dog right away.

Great place that cares about our pets!

I like Dr Mangat. He is a very nice guy who loves animals and it shows. His rates are a little better than the other vets out there but his place is pretty dated. It's pretty clean though.

They were very good about taking my cat in after another vet botched up a neutering. The cat was distressed and they took care of him.

I love this place. Dr Mangat is very caring and and well qualified doctor. Hospital is very clean and staff is very friendly.

I was helping a friend find a clinic to take her 15 year old cat to be euthanized. My neighbor recommended Caring Pet Hospital. It was a heart breaking moment for my friend. Without ever seeing her cat before the two gals in the office were sincerely compassionate and sensitive to her situation. We both left feeling very appreciative of their kindness and sensitivity during this most stressful situation. Also it is important to mention the cost was very reasonable compared to other places I know of.

I have a 3 year old Terrier Mix and has been to Caring Pet Hospital for several visits with no complaints but one particular visit I brought Max in for immediate relief from allergy symptoms! Normally there was never an issue with their prices for treatment but this visit I wanted treatment for my dog paying the least amount possible due to my financial situation which I explained before treatment was given! To make a long story short I ended up paying more than expected for things that I didn't need! I tried returning two items the same day and Dr. would only refund one item-- and not the other because it was a prescription which my pet did not need by the end of the day!

Needed to bring in my dog ASAP but it wasn't an emergency.

I Really like this hospital. Dr Mangat really cares about animals and his prices are reasonable. We have been taking Tyson to Dr Mangat ever since he saved my friends Dog Willy he was really sick and needed surgery and Dr Mangat took Bart out to Hayward to see Willy urgently! If that's not dedication of being I dont know what kind of Dr would do that he is a kind person give him a call and book an appointment for your pet or walk ins are welcome till 3:00pm check it out. Im glad I did????
