I went here years ago when my regular clinic was closed for that day, and initially I wasn’t too sure about it. However, recently I went back there to get a few foster cats fixed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I actually had a really good chat with the doctor. I appreciate that she does try to make it affordable and still provide great care.

Excellent veterinary services. I've been with "ALTA VISTA" for many years. This is the place to go to, for your animal care, because they care... for all of your pet needs. Dr. Buddy is truly your pet's best buddy, in a comprehensive and caring manner, to say the least. This service is fast, reliable and friendly to all. "ALTA VISTA"... the go to veterinary clinic for quality pet care.

First time here, going to have the cat spayed here through the Hayward Animal Shelter voucher program that cost only $75. The visit is pre-surgery exam. After reviewing our records they added a blood test saying that is required for the surgery. $60. I understand they need to make some money and fine with that. The vet came to talk to me after the exam. She said we want to have a long term relationship and will ensure good quality of service. So I will see how the surgery goes next week.

Very nice ladies attended me when I brought in my kitten who needed to be vaccinated.

I took my dog here twice for a cherry eye surgury and the two times it never looked done right it looked like they just did it in a hurry because the next day or two it was right back up I know it can come back but it can not just come back the next day or two it never looked like they put it all the wat in it’s spot and if I knew he didn’t know how to do it I would have never brought her to that vet she is now blind barley turned one not that long ago now she is blind from one eye . If you dog has a cherry eye do not bring her to this vet pay more in another place or do research on places that specialize in it it’s not worth your dog being blind from one eye,

Dr. Budde is an outstanding Veterinarian. Her staff is incredible too. Great handlers of all pets and they really love your pets. I highly recommend Alta Vista, especially if you live in Hayward. As for customer service, excellent and Dr. Budde's staff are bilingual, with high levels of culturally proficiency. Highly recommended.

Called for an appointment in the morning and with my work schedule Dr. Budde saw us at closing time.! I was thrilled that she was able to see us the same day, and stayed late to take care of my little girl. The staff was very helpful and supportive. Glad Dr. Budde is our vet. I wrote that review 3 years ago, and I'm still with Dr. Budde, and she still continues to go the extra mile to support my fur baby. On her last anal gland expression the tech discovered a lump; they had me in the next day to have Dr. Budde check it. Immediately set up the blood work and ultra sound all completed in a week; referral to a surgeon and now she will be having surgery. This all took place within a 2 week timeline! Her staff continues to provide timely calls, schedules and feedback. I'm so glad that Dr. Budde and her staff take of Addie. 3 year later, and we still give them a 5 star review! We appreciate you all so much.

My cat had diarrhea and after $3,500 dollars in X-rays, blood test and chemo therapy I found an article by a Vet that said you cannot treat intestinal issues on cats with Chemo. I showed Dr. Budde the article and she laughed. The look on her face was ha ha, I already got your money. My cat died. He was the best, loving cat I've ever had, Greed is a terrible thing Dr. Budde. Staff had no remorse either. DON'T GO HERE!

Alexa Budde is our most trusted family doctor. My wife and I have been bringing our pets to Alta Vista Veterinary Clinic for years and years. Dr. Budde is tops, and so are the staff. We know that we can always count on Dr. Budde to give us all of the best information, AND her best wisdom on what course of action to take. I can’t count the number of times they’ve gone the extra mile for us.

Well you do have to drop your pet at the counter and then you have to leave your pet there. But that's the situation through the state. Otherwise it's pretty good.

Customer service wasn't very good.

We took both our pet puppies here for a spay and neuter just yesterday and they entire process was simple from the scheduling to the after surgery instructions. The entire staff was knowledgeable and helped with the process. A very professional environment from start to finish. I highly recommend Alta Vista Veterinary Clinic for all your pet needs.

Dr. Budde & her Staff r wonderful, I have taken all my pets to her, now I have a new kitten, they love him, they make your pets feel comfortable, I don't know all her staff's names but they r all wonderful, I had a cat who was really sick, he stayed 1 week in the hospital, they were so good to him, very good care. .

I have been a customer of Alta Vista Veterinary Clinic for many years. I would not take my animals anywhere else for their care. Dr. Buddi and staff are the most professional and caring Veterinarians in the area. If you love your pet, your pet will love Alta Vista Veterinary Clinic. 5 star rating.

Due to the current situation of pandemic, making appointments for your pets is a bit challenging but not impossible if you have time and patience to fit in the schedule. Staff answers the call quite quickly and if not they'll place you in a brief hold. Overall, amazing working staff to assist you with questions or concerns. It's a bit tight when there's full house of clients. You'll have to wait in your car until they come and personally get you.

My cats receive the best of care there. Dr Budde truly loves what she is doing and is passionate with her love for animals. Like a MASH unit: Best care anywhere. I always get reminder notices for my cats routine check-up and postcards reminding me of discounts on dental cleanings for pets.

Staff is friendly, doctor is honest,experience, knowledgeable and very caring with our pets. Thank you for all your help! :-)

I just love this place! Doc and the girls working there are so sincere and loving to all our fur babies. My wife and I have 1 dog and 2 cats and I won’t take them anywhere else! Alta Vista is the Best!!!
