Catmandoo and Tommy’s Lil Angels Hawthorne, California

I went there twice, and I didn’t see the adoption stuff. I only saw cats and I was looking forward into adopting a dog there with my family. I tried texting Susan and still no answer.

Don't adopt any pets here. We adopted a kitten from them and when she came home we noticed she was getting less active each day as we took her to the vet we found out she had Giardia. Which it spread from fecal contact from other animals, meaning all the kittens that were there had this parasite as well. When my kitten became extremely ill the people at the shelter are unreliable and dont respond. And when I went to adopt my kitten i noticed a lot of the kittens looked skinny and sick. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY!! They don't spay / neuter or test FeLV / FIV (Leukemia-HIV). Which cost us $400 and more vet bills. There are better shelters that provide these important medical procedures before they are adopted.

I dont know if should say this "rescue" is a scam but DO NOT ADOPT FROM THEM! My niece "adopted" a pup from here by paying a $600 fee which I think is ridiculous. Secondly, she's been calling and messaging Susan Moller on different devices and Susan never picks up although there was one time where Susan denied my niece's call and messaged her with "text me, can't talk right now while working" so thats exactly what my neice did after her call was denied but Susan never responded and still doesn't respond. My niece works most of the week but is busy cause of uni but also works until 3pm on the weekends so everytime she goes over to petsmart on pico, they basically reject her service because they're packing up already. There IS NO WAY OF CONTACTING THEM AT ALL EVEN WHEN THEIR CONTRACT STATES TO CALL THEM IF THE NEW PET OWNER HAS ANY CONCERNS TOWARDS THEIR NEW PUP. This "rescue" is pathetic.

I was so glad that Catmandoo Rescue was able to take in a baby kitten that was dropped off at my door by a now homeless ex-neighbor. I couldn't care for him due to having incurable chronic illnesses so I had to find the little guy a home ASAP!.

I have know Suzanne for more years than I want to count. Helpful, bend over backwards to help or get you help.

Great rescue! Suzanne and her team are truly compassionate people that really care for animals. If you can adopt or help in any way, this rescue and it's animals deserve it.

We adopted our cat from Catmandoo and have boarded out cat there. Suzanne truly cares for these animals!

This place is not accurate I have been calling in reference to animals that I see on this website every time I called they give me a text saying to text them when I text them they never respond. I manage to get someone to via text message after a week of calling and email. They replied much later texting saying that the dog on their website was no longer available!!! I do not like the run-around experience I received and would not wish that on anyone else

They are the best. I have adopted 4 animals from them (so far). Our cats are the sweetest and have the best personality. Hercules our puppy is simply the best, Even after the adoption they are always there for me if I have questions. Thank you for everything you do!
