Their horse back ride is great with both trail and beach hikes. The port or potty situation sucks.

Received glowing reviews from trusted friends so we decided to plan a trip. Great customer service! I was able to book easily online and unfortunately had to make changes which was done easily over email with Willa who is a gem.

Nice ride along the beach

Very affordable- we enjoyed the 90 minute ride to the beach and back. It was a great time!

Not very friendly clerk. There was non one else infront of us or behind us when we arrived and she made us wait outside the gate for quite a while, then sent us away abruptly only to tell us no walking available, go book online. No hi, welcome or sorry, no available at the Moment, just brushed us off.

Took my daughter and granddaughter horseback riding. Wonderful memory maker for us all. My daughter remembers when I took her here when she was a child. I didn’t know that until she shared it with her daughter when we went.

Nice place to walk and play on the beach.

It was a nice experience. However, I fell off the horse in the mud and the owner's excuse was very lackluster.

This is a very special place. The route was amazing and cropped onto the beach. My two kids 7 and 9 had a blast on this 2 hr trail. We will be back again.

If you ever trying to get a refund after cancellation, there is no one answering your call!!! The email response either. Irresponsible business.

We love this place. We took our daughter there many times. Everyone is very nice and the horses are gentle. My daughter loves the 2 hour ride in the morning. They take them on the beach and everything is so beautiful.

I had an amazing time! The horses were absolutely wonderful and so was the staff!! The animals are very well trained and the staff is very kind and attentive. You can tell everyone is like family there, horses included! I will be booking again very soon

We came here for a trail ride to celebrate a birthday. Both the children and the grownups loved the experience. Do arrive 15 minutes earlier as they instructed you to. They operate efficiently and start the ride right on time. The trail ride goes through creeks and tree tunnels. It was a relatively authentic experience in spite of the group size (about 10 people I think). The guide was funny and outgoing, and the photographer was amazing. He produced over 100 photos for a flat fee of $60.

Do not come here if you’re expecting any kind of human empathy. Three of us in our party were over the weight limit and it was handled in an extremely callous and frankly heartless way. The woman told us we were “clearly over the weight limit” before asking us our weight. If that woman sees this: you need a brush up lesson in how to talk to people or a nice long vacation to get rid of that attitude. You were rude to everyone who walked up. We only were offered a credit for our ride but I would never recommend this place to anyone. Horses were cute.

Ce for the early bird deal! The horses are not overworked yet, and it's a nice wakeup call from nature. If you arrive by 7:45, you get 2-hour (including) beach stroll for $75/person. It's not your pony ride at the petting zoo. The horses are nice. One warning is come in thick jackets. It's cold! Especially on the beach. Two hours on the horse is pretty tiring, and I'm sure the horses are tired too. Good experience but might not come back often.

most of the people don’t speak english. the lady that greeted us wasn’t the kindest. the ride was great except that some of the horses didn’t listen very well.

It was my first time ever riding a horse, so to say I was nervous would be an incredible understatement. That said, the staff at Sea Horse Ranch was wonderfully accommodating and made me feel right at home. Javier was our guide and was helpful, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend Sea Horse Ranch to anyone who is wanting a truly memorable experience.

Went here for my anniversary for me and my wife and it was a great time and experience had a wonderful horse ride on the beach and a lil trail with a little creek area don't wear white doe but had a great time thank you sea horse ranch ill be coming back soon!!

❌❌❌Be VERY careful at this ranch. There was one very nice instructor and another very rude and disrespectful instructor. He decided to scold me on the beginning of the ride because I accidentally forgot my phone was in my back Jean pocket. He made me give him my phone, proceeded to command the horse to run and in turn almost made me fall off the horse. He was blaming me for the dangerous occurrence he caused while horse back riding. If that wasn’t bad enough, he then made two men that were closer to the front; move over and made me move dangerously through a slim area if a trail. I thankfully have been horse back riding since I was a kid and was able to handle the man scolding me, horse running stressfully and me maintaining my balance on the horse. I would never return to this ranch and definitely wouldn’t recommend them. My finance said this was a horse trainer and knows I want a horse, but due to his unprofessional and erratic behavior; we decided to pass on ever considering horse training from him! Again, BE CAREFUL, I would not waste money on this ranch or ever return :/ This is due to one very rude and reckless man who thought it would be ok; to scold and endanger a customer, others on trail ride, and the horses

I just called to book an appointment and the lady that answered the phone first asked me name and last name which I proceeded to provide as well as my height and weight, then asked me my wife’s name and when I gave her the last name she laughed sarcastically, as it is a very uncommon last name, (I’m thinking Uh!), anyhow she then proceeded to say we’ll leave it with her first name and asked her height and weight, which immediately asked “Are you sure?? Cause she being that height she is too heavy to ride our horses. I m sure you can imagine how I feel about them now. This happened Sunday June 13, 2021 @ 1pm. If you are reading this and your the boss of this person, have a talk or replace the person. But if you are the owner, you need to have someone else provide the service ASAP.

I would have given a ZERO star if I could. I cancelled by ride 3+ days in advance after booking because it was supposed to rain (like 95% chances of rain and it actually did so much). They sent me an email saying it was cancelled and even promised refund (because the policy said that for parties of 9 or less, 24 hrs of notice was sufficient). I never received my refund ever, and when I disputed with the credit card company they said that "The merchant provided sufficient evidence that you made the purchase". SUPER DISAPPOINTED. And not to mention, the lady on the call was rude -.-

This is my 5th or 6th time riding horses and this was the only place I haven't liked. When they were giving us horses they didn't seem to match people based on experience or size. They spent less then 2 seconds fixing the saddle and adjusting everything. I had to ask to get the length of the stirrups adjusted correctly. The guide also made a comment that the saddle was crooked but didn't offer to fix it or anything. They also don't seem to treat the horses right, the horse I was on was kind of slow so one of the guides gave me a stick and told me to hit the horse. I have never once been told to do that too a horse to get it to go. I did not feel comfortable hitting the horse so the guides would yell out commands to my horse, which made him run which was really uncomfortable, especially when I wasn't expecting it. The horse also seemed to be afraid of the guides and would run out of the way. This is the only place I have been that charged for photos and wouldn't let us bring personal cell phones during the ride. It is $60 for all of the pictures, most of them are blurry. The cheapest amount was $30 for 1-5 pictures. Overall this was not worth it, and I don't recommend it.

Went to the Sea Horse Ranch for the 1.5hr trail ride. It was our first time riding a horse and we had a great time. You go on horseback down the trail, to the beach and back. It does get cold on the beach so wear a light jacket. Masks are still required but you don’t need the gloves anymore. You are not allowed to bring anything with you on the horse including cell phones, cameras and purses. They have a photographer that will take your pictures while on the tour. We were iffy about this since photos cost a lot but the photos from the experience were good quality. We were able to purchase our 200+ photos for $60 on a flash drive for 3 people. Another option is to have someone in the trail to take your pictures but their pictures were worth the price. Overall, we had a great time and loved our first riding experience.

Google reader: DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO SEA HORSE RANCH. Find another ranch that cares about their customers! Cancelled my ride 12/7/21 due to high winds which I completely understand, however, not refunding me my money after 6 months of trying to get a hold of you through phone calls and email is completely unprofessional and reportable to the BBB as it seems to happen frequently. I received an email from Sea Horse Ranch that stated my ride had been cancelled and I could call to get a refund, so I did, over the period of 3 months, nearly every day with no answer. Like another reviewer here, when I disputed the charge with my bank I was told "the merchant provided sufficient evidence that you received a service". Dozens of calls, and multiple unanswered emails later it seems I was scammed out of my money.

1hr slow ride not much to see. Great if you want to experience riding a horse for the first time. Safe and horses well trained. Staff very knowledgeable. Worth doing once if you really want to ride a horse for first time.
