Came in for vaccines. Spoke on phone previously about obtaining deceased beloved pet records..vet said they were archived and unavailable even though I was told I could get a copy.. ask receptionist- she hands me a copy.. the issue is that the Vet had ZERO empathy towards me when sharing about our beloved pet being euthanized at the ER vet a week ago. Nothing, not even the receptionist had a kind word. VERY cold hearted place. People own pets. People pay for their pets healthcare. I suggest you all find a way to value and empathize with the pet owners. Why you in this biz if unable to express love..?

They take your puppy from you and do the exam while u wait on the lobby!?? I’ve never seen a vet take the dog alone and examine them. Staff were whispering and didn’t make us feel comfortable. I will not be returning!

Doctor Smith has taken care of our dogs for a dozen years and we've been going to the Oak Park Veterinary Clinic for 21 years. Were very happy with the care of that our pets of received there.

I love their team! I'm from AZ, but my little pug mix developed an ear infection during our stay here. The veterinarian was so helpful and kind. I really appreciate being educated on what to do in the future to prevent ear infections/yeast infections for my dog. The staff there is incredibly kind and patient, they truly love working with animals! Thank you Oak Park Veterinary staff!

I brought in a dog with infected ears. Dr Smith took dog to examine and treat to another room. Pug bit her. She came back to the room yelling at me. I would think she would have put a collar on the pup or something to prevent a bite. I have changed vets. Big turn over in her staff.

Horrible experience!! So first things first the doctor doesnt know the difference between a cyst and a tumor, her words to me... "When I cut into it, and realized it was flesh and that means it is a tumor". So then two weeks later upon getting the stitches out and my dog wanting to continue to lick at his new scar, and upon not being told that their e collar falls apart in the washer, I asked for a replacement, they wanted to charge me for it!! REALLY!! 1300 dollars wasnt enough!! On top of all that when I called to see about the replacement ecollar, the receptionist says... Oh yeah I saw the scabs on him!! And you guys as vets dont say anything to us?? Horrible experience!! Animal Care Clinic in slo is the only place for me and my pets!!!

I took my 14 y o Kitty Kat Rosie/ best friend there with a bad abscess they were very thourogh and kind. And cost much less than I expected (but shhhhh don't tell them that.) and now my Rosie is on the mend. Despite what she thinks about wearing the cone of shame.

Love Dr. Smith! She has taken great care of my cat and I love her person follow up post appointments when needed.

We were very blessed, to not just have Dr Cathi, caring for our pets, but that she also, cared about her pets parents, with so much love and impassion...when we lost our precious Lhasa Apso, the week before Thanksgiving, and she was right there with us...When we welcomed our little Chihuahua into our family, and she gave her a clean bill of health, etc, etc...Dr Cathi and her Team, are The Greatest ????

Staff and Doctor very caring and kind. Always got us in right away. Trust her with both our fur babies for over a year now. Very clean and our doggies love getting goodies when they get their check ups.

I went here to get a new dog checked out. There was only one other person waiting and I showed up on time for my appointment and still had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. The girl who works as the tech/receptionist made me feel like I was bothering her. Once I met the vet it was no different. She came in with hair all over her coat and . She barely spoke to me and she never smiled either.. I was very disappointed by the service here. I will not be returning over all a unwelcoming experience.

I trust that what Dr Smith tells me my pets need is right...she.is a very through vet and a great surgeon too. My Golden Retriever is taken care of here!
