My 6 month puppy got out of the car without a leash at Griffith and ran up to a guy in a K9 Logic shirt and a cattle dog. The dog had an Ignore patch so I felt bad about my puppy mugging this dog that probably wanted to be left alone, but the trainer was so nice. Like genuinely sweet when I was expecting someone a little mad about my dog being out of control. He helped me grab my dog and left a great impression.

This review is long overdue, but wanted to express how happy we are with our decision to train with K9 Logic! Our dog Tsuki was getting more reactive to other dogs and we knew right away we needed help with managing her. Any walk or park outing we attempted was not enjoyable at all if another dog came in sight. We signed up for 8 private sessions and got paired with Jamie for our first few sessions and then worked with Diana for the remainder of them. Both of these ladies were amazing trainers! We were given very clear demonstrations and instructions throughout all of our lessons. The sessions were always very hands on and the feedback we were given on our handling skills was invaluable. I felt like we made huge progress every week. By our last lesson, Tsuki's reactions had minimized, her obedience improved, and she was learning to socialize better with other dogs. Our training ended back in June, but we've continued to implement all of the lessons we've learned from our previous sessions and Tsuki's behavior has only been getting better. We were able to take her on a trip to Yosemite and stayed at a location where there were tons of dogs and it feels amazing to say that she was one of the most well behaved dogs there. We've been taking her out more to pet friendly places-- restaurants with outdoor patios, bars, pet stores-- and every single time she blows me away with her progress. I used to think we could never do any of these activities with her. Of course there are days/moments where it feels like we're taking a few steps back, but it's a lot easier to manage thanks to everything we learned. Thank you K9 Logic for getting us to this point in our training!

I dropped off my 11 month old standard Goldendoodle at K9 Logic during August 2021 for a 3-week boarding and training. He was a silly puppy with all the classic puppy problems. Energetic, excited, distracted and pulling on walks. At the end of the 3rd week, Chris telephoned me on a Sunday to ask if my puppy could stay another week “on the house” because there was room for improvement and they wanted to send my dog home up to their standards. Wow! On the 4th week, I picked up an improved dog. We are 2 weeks out, and doing good. K9 was fantastic. They taught him commands, walking without pulling, and set me up to continue practicing at home. With these tools, my dog is now eager to listen. Chris and his staff have a true passion for this. Highly recommend this training facility, and plan on utilizing more of their services.

I sent my dog here for a 4 week Board & Train. I have done one of these before in the past and it wasn't that effective but it seems like this one was worth it. We're a week out and the training has stuck and seems to continue to improve. Chris and his team are obviously very knowledgable. Highly recommend.

Finally a facility that did more than state the obvious and gets stuff accomplished. This was our 4th trainer, and the one that made the difference. After doing the 5 week boot camp, he's much more manageable and since he's a very big dog, it was important we are able to manage him. And since they have boarding for Alumni, now we can leave town when we need to without worrying about his training going out the window. They were able to teach us how to apply his training without any confusion and now we have a much better relationship with our dog. Thanks K9 Logic!

After 5 weeks of training with Diana, I have the perfect dog! Seriously though, this training was a game changer. Diana was so amazing with my dog and always available for questions and encouragement in between sessions. She was just the best! This training is worth every penny.

We worked with Dom at K9 logic and he was a great and calm teacher for our dog. She has quickly adapted to his instruction, has stopped barking and being overly aggressive on walks. She's even learned how to go to her "place" at home and sit and be calm. Our dog is almost 11 so we certainly didn't think we'd be teaching her new tricks. Dom was very helpful in answering questions and life at home is more peaceful now that we know what steps to keep our dog from barking all the time or being a bully. Thanks Dom!

100% Recommended! I took my 5 year old adopted dog, Sophie to K9 Logic recently. I mainly needed help with her excessive barking and her forcefully pulling on her leash when on walks. Since I am wheelchair bound I also wanted to be able to take Sophie on walks myself with her being attached to my wheelchair. Our trainer, Chris, truly went above and beyond to help us with Sophie. In order to get her used to walking alongside my wheelchair Chris purchased one to begin Sophie's training. I was amazed to see the progress Sophie was doing every week. Now that we have Sophie back we can see a huge difference in her behavior. Slowly we are now able to take her on small outings and she does great with her being attached to my wheelchair!! I can not thank Chris & K9 Logic enough for making it possible.

We enrolled our dog, Bernie, in the 5 week B&T program. He's a super-mutt with an unknown (to us) past, that is highly anxious and people-reactive. We adopted Bernie at the beginning of COVID and unfortunately were unable to give them the proper socialization with humans that he needed during his first year with us. Prior to B&T, our dog knew all of his basic obedience commands and walked beautifully on a loose leash, but had a very low threshold for his triggers (people who approached him, looked at him, talked to him, etc.). My wife and I read several dog behavior books, followed a bunch of dog behaviorists and trainers online, and tried a year of (strictly) positive reinforcement training + following the basic principles of "exercise, discipline, and affection." After a year, we could see Bernie starting to plateau in his training, and even worse, we felt like he was getting more scared of people. Ultimately, my wife and I just didn't feel completely equipped with enough knowledge or tools to help Bernie by ourselves -- we also didn't feel like we could safely put him in environments with other people that would be HELPFUL for his training journey. That's when we decided to enroll Bernie in a B&T program and where K9 Logic comes in. Chris and his trainers not only inundated our dog with as many positive human interactions as possible during our dog's 5-week training, they also taught him (properly) that they can look to his human/humans for guidance when he's scared rather than immediately going into fight mode (barking, lunging). They also introduced Bernie and us to the e-collar (mini educator), which has really been a SUPER helpful tool for us. We were hesitant to try the e-collar on our own without expert help, but felt very confident using it after we were given a training on it during our dog's pick-up day! Our boy isn't a "brand new dog" but he's working a lot harder and we can really see him trying to make better decisions for himself when he's nervous; he's also already miles better being around strangers! Even more importantly, my wife and I feel like more confident handlers and effective communicators/pack leaders. We know it's a work in progress. If you've got a highly reactive dog, K9 logic can help tremendously, but just remember you need to be willing to put in the work afterwards on your own. B&T is not a one and done solution, but we believe that a B&T program at the correct facility with the right trainers (like the team at K9 logic!), can help lay important groundwork for your dog and you, as your dog's human handler(s), to perform at their best for one another :) If you've got the money to spend on the program and the willingness to work for/with your dog when the program is done, the B&T program at K9 logic is amazing.

We’ve had a great experience with K9 Logic. Our young energetic dog was tricky to walk on the leash - she loved to pull and ignore us. On the very first session our trainee Diana gave us tips and drills that immediately started improving things. She also taught us some skills that have helped our dog be happier and more obedient. We really appreciate it and are looking forward to learning more.

After exhausting every youtube video and trying every effort on our own to help our reactive dog, we took him to K9 logic. We booked 8 private sessions with Diana, and after just two sessions, he was already showing so much improvement! He used to bark at everything that moved, pull on the leash to the point of choking himself, and walks were stressful. Now, we can take him on hikes, to parks, even to busy places like the Americana and he looks to US for guidance. His leash barking has stopped completely, and walks are something we can look forward to! He is a 10mo old chi mix. I recommend this place to anyone looking for immediate change to their dogs behavior. Don't let the price of dog training push you away..the value of what you get is 100% worth it. Diana was amazing to work with. She is so sweet and professional. We are taking our older dog there next! The best part of this experience is that not only do we have a more obedient dog, but our dog is happier with structure and less anxious outside the home. His well being is important to us, and I feel confident that taking him to k9 logic was the best thing we could have done for him!

We are so happy we made this big step to start with this program Charly did the 5 weeks and let me tell you. He came back a different dog. He would pull us on the walks and very anxious to play with all dogs. K9 Logic showed us the way. I knew that we have to learn as well. Still applying the rule at home. I will be honest it was hard but it worked. We take him to long walks to the park for hours and riding the bicycle has been so easy now that he knows how to focus more. We take him to day care so he can interact with dog. I'm happy to say K9 Logic they are and still is our school. We will continue to go every week. We are so happy with the attention they put towards the dogs. Thank you

What can we say? K9 Logic was hands down some of the best money we've ever spent. We took our beloved puppy Rune there at 8 months due to excessive barking, reactivity to dogs and people, lunging and pulling on walks. Although Rune was playful with other dogs, she also had insecurities that would arise and could cause problems. Walking her had become a nightmare and we were really stressed out even when just taking her out for a stroll. We'd tried various methods that we found on YouTube, saw on Instagram, or read about in books; and it seemed like nothing was working. We finally booked an 8 week training course with Chris and K9 Logic, and from the first class, we realized that this would be a huge opportunity for growth - for both us and our dog. Rune is not an easy dog, and Chris saw that. He helped us select the best tools to both teach and strengthen the behavior we wanted from her. He taught us how to teach. It's very hands on. Chris would show us how to train, and what homework we should be doing between classes. We really put the time in, and our results were amazing. Now we are able to walk Rune with no pulling, lunging, or barking. We can take her off leash with great confidence, even around bicyclists, other dogs, or children. One of the most valuable results of the training is that we now have far fewer negative interactions with our dog. Our bond is strengthened, and she really trusts us and wants to keep learning. She is less anxious, more confident, and happier. Obviously some of this is natural as the dog gets older, but we are thoroughly convinced of the great value this training has given us as dog owners. If we ever get another dog, regardless of its age or temperment, we would bring it to K9 Logic right away. Can't recommend enough. Thanks to Chris and the K9 Logic Team! Keep up the great work!

K9 Logic knows exactly how to speak your dog's language and do an excellent job teaching owners how to communicate and build a relationship with their dog. I have a rescue pittie mix who was extremely reactive and would choke herself from pulling on her leash. It was embarrassing and near impossible to walk her. We came to K9 logic and in ONE SESSION – A single, one hour session – she learned how to heel. After 5 private classes & 5 group classes, my dog can now do pack walks and hikes. Chris has incredible patience and so much knowledge on how to break down the training for both the dog and the human. The level of detail he puts into the small (but very important) things like rewarding the dog at the right position and timing, the slight pressure on the leash, and the clear language spoken to the dog WILL set you up for success. With K9 Logic's help and our consistent training, my dog can now walk in a heel and we have the tools to help us keep her reactivity at bay. The K9 Logic community of current and past students is a testament to their success. We are constantly learning from and encouraging each other through the hard but so, so rewarding training. I honestly can't say enough good things about them.
