PLEASE READ: I took my little girl(Pet) in because she hadn't eaten for a couple of days and they completed some blood work for her. It turned out she had a bought of Pancreatitis. Doctor recommended we hospitalize her over the weekend and start her on antibiotics and hydration with IV Fluids. We just wanted her to get better, so we agreed. It seemed she was getting better, but on Monday when the doctor (Vet) handed her back to me she started breathing heavily and very fast. I said there is something really wrong with her. He took an x-ray and said her lungs are clear, if anything happens just take to emergency down the street. Well, she got worse and by that night she was in congestive heart failure(Heart Attack). THEY OVER HYDRATED HER BODY and it caused her to have a heart attack. She never had any heart problems before (prior to hospitalization), and on her previous exam, the vet had said she had a strong heart for her age. Then I told the doctors at the emergency clinic what had happened. The ER clinic called the vet hospital to tell them what I said, and Garden Grove dog and cat hospital vet basically threatened not to treat her anymore (They work together and cover each others mistakes). I was at there mercy so I said nothing else. I had to see 4 different vets and there was NO uniformity to her care. Something always went wrong when I took her to Garden Grove Dog &Cat hospital. I had been there before and things seemed to go alright, BUT NOT THIS TIME! After going back and forth ( Hospital in the daytime and ER hospital at night for almost a Month) and causing so much pain to my little girl, SHE HAD TO BE PUT TO SLEEP-SHE DIED). This was after almost $10,000.00 DOLLARS IN COSTS. ALL THEY CARED ABOUT WAS COVERING THERE BEHIND AND GAUGING ME, AFTER THERE MALPRACTICE. THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY BROKE MY HEART. There is so much more to this nightmare but it would take 3-4 pages to write. I HOPE THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ANYONE ELSE. SINCERELY, CONCERNED PET OWNER.

These folks are the best in my opinion I've been going here for about 6 yrs

About sometime in July of 2019, I found a stray kitten off the streets and adopted him. I needed to get him dewormed, flea medicine, shots, and FeLV test. I decided to to take him here for the FeLV test since it was the closest place nearby that offered it. They charged me like $330 for the FeLV test, didn't give me any paperwork, then rushed me out as quickly as possible. Didn't leave a review back then, but will now. EDIT: Remember that you can get the FeLV test for like $35 in a lot of nearby places. Don't go to places without research just because they're close.

Outstanding service, knowledgeable staff, and compassion for both the animals and their owners. A really good experience!

I use to think this place was awesome and always recommending them to people I meet. But not anymore they take forever to get back to me for prescription orders. I have to order a week before and they don’t even call me when it’s ready. They don’t care if your pet dies.

I had them charge me for the doctor to look down my don't ears and he never did take a.scope to them and he gave me an ear flush for her and it's two days later and she is worse then she was when I took her.

Super friendly staff and quick!!

First time came here after already went a few places before we were very nervous. The office was running very smooth and everyone was friendly and politely. They were very busy and even some had to leave and came back in the afternoon...no one complain. Dr. Newtown was super friendly and professional.. She was not just smile but laugh all the time. She took time listening and examing my baby when playing with him. Thank you Dr. We love you ❤????❤???? Definitely recommend to everyone.

I love this place. Thank you doctor for successful surgery on my pet. During the examination, there were 2 breasts that needed to be removed, but then the doctor discovered 3 breasts and we did not have to pay extra. And also get free care 3 days after. My 10 year old daughter came home and slept soundly.

I have been coming here for two years now for my dog. The doctors and technicians are very friendly and truly cares for your pet.

They treated my big dog for a UTI, as usual the service was good the prices were fair and the staff was courteous and competent.

Friendly staff. Small parking lot though and very busy on weekends. Go on a week day and arrive early to check in.

Fast friendly staff..some prices have increased! .but overall .they are reasonably priced..love how you can just walk in w/o appt ..or make appt for more serious issues . Conviently located. Lots of staff and they are pretty quick about getting you in out

From the bottom of our hearts we can not THANK them enough. They helped save our Mochi. She was diagnosed with parvo a few days after we got her and it was an uphill battle but she was a fighter and they didn’t give up on her. I had never heard of them but our sons girlfriend had been going there for the longest time and we admitted her. It’s our new go to vet. Already took our other 2 girls for boosters. Great affordable care. Wait can be a bit long but you get the care you need at the prices you can afford.

The doctors are very knowledgeable and the prices are affordable. Its obvious the staff loves your pet as much as you do. I had many options for veterinary care for my pup and I gladly took her to Garden Grove Animal Hospital.

Dr. Mark Malo is without a doubt a Rockstar Vet he's so patient, calm and explains everything with detail and doesn't pressure you into any unnecessary procedures. Him and his entire staff are seriously amazing and always so caring. Definitely recommend anyone to bring their fur-babies here.

I like the vets and feel they do a good job taking care of pet needs without being overly expensive. They don't take appointments....walk ins only which can be both good and bad. Bad when you have to wait for 3 to 4 hours to see the vet, but good when you have an urgent need.

They are great with the animals and the prices are reasonable.

So far so good. Since they don't accept appointments, but do walk ins only, it can be a little frustrating to wait for enough pet to be seen. But if you lve great services at affordable prices and don't mind waiting, this is the one. My Bingo was spayed by Dr. Sanchez and she is amazing. Bingo's recovery was too fast that we didn't know she got the procedure done. Thank you. Definitely recommended.

For a simple follow up with vaccination, waiting 2.5hours from 9am is totally ridiculous! I’ve been with them for a year being patient and the waiting hours has been like this around 1-2hours always after check in but no improvement at all! And I am done now! I won’t recommend this place. It would be a total waste of your time

Great staff great vets They help me with my babies when i needed help the most and very organized Highly recommend this place And yes sometimes it can take a while but you should plan a visit if you think itll be 30 minutes or less. I get very upset with people who disrespect the staff just beause they waited for 1 hour ????. Its a hospital its going to be a while just like for humans. If its not life threatening it can wait. THANK YOU STAFF FOR BEING AMAZING! ????????????
