Dr. Charlie is so kind, caring and gentle! He is an excellent surgeon, and I know this because my Henry was neutered and didn't even need his pain medication! He didn't even need the cone, as if he didn't realize the incision site! The staff is so polite over the phone and the entire staff of the back office continue that profound care and respect. Thank you all at Airport Animal Hospital!!!

I gave one star because they were open. The front office staff is rude and condescending! The old staff were much better. Bring open and helping a sick dog is something they can't do! I have been bringing my dogs here for over 8 years, NEVER AGAIN!!! Don't bring your animals if sick, they don't care. They do not give you results of any testing without an argument. Oh, one thing they do well is take your money!

Best vet and staff in O.C. Staff is professional,get you checked in and out quickly. Vets are caring , honest and give the best medical care for your loved ones. They take the time to listen to any of your concerns.Price is fair time in and out is reasonable and they answer the phone . If they have to put you on hold it's not for long

I had been going to VCA of Cerritos since my pom was born. However, I was tired of the drive , the staff, the quality and the wait for any appointment. While I was venting about this to my neighbor, he referred me to Dr. Charles the vet who he went to school with him. I called, they picked up right and gave me an appt for an exam to get his teeth cleaned. I got there and the place was very clean, staff was very nice and Dr Charles was great. He was very easy going, easy to talk to and reasonably priced. I was given an appt for teeth cleaning within one week. The day came for my poms teeth cleaning. I dropped him off at 9 and by 430 he was picked up. The Dr thoroughly explained to me what he did regarding my poms teeth cleaning and we were on our way. My pom has been acting like he was reborn (he's 9 yrs old) and happy as can be. Dr Charles did an outstanding teeth cleaning. My poms breath smells great again! Dr Charles gets an A+++++ rating. I recommend him highly.

We got our first puppy and had to find a vet. I called around until I found Dr. Kamal. He was patient and kind in explaining everything to us since we are first time pet owners. We have gone for vaccines, neutering plus a hernia repair surgery and cannot say enough good things about Airport Animal hospital. The doctors and staff give the highest level of care to our puppy. They are excellent and passionate about what they do and it shows.

We have been coming here since 2016 when we had to put our dog down in the middle of the night. They were friendly and compassionate at a time that we really needed it. We have been coming back since then with our other dogs and we have never been disappointed.

This review is a bit bitter sweet for me. Im not usually one to write reviews but this is not the first time so I feel it necessary and hope that it is useful to whomever it may concern. I have only but love for this place and have been coming for years. Both drs are truly caring and staff is awesome. I have recently brought my pets for minor things and the receptionist was extremely rude, spoke way to fast and seemed uninterested in what I was there for. I know people have bad days so I didn't feel it necessary to talk to the dr or manager. My sister recently took our family dog gryffin and my sister called me immediately after leaving asking me why I liked this place so much because it was awful. I was deeply hurt to hear that the same person helped my sister and made her feel horrible. She said Dr was great but staff was short and snarky. And what is even more sad is that my cousin comes here too and also said she's had problems where the same person is just too much. I'm writing today because I understand that there's bad days for people, but because it's not only me and it's all at different occasions I can only assume that it's always the same. I would hate to leave because of one person because this place is great but feeling welcomed should be important. I know she's newer because all the other girls have been there for years.

Brought my dog here after suspecting bloating, after a 10 minute exam I was charged over 1000 dollars just for them to tell me they couldn't help me and I need to take my dog to a specialist. When I take my dog to the specialist they tell me, all the tests I had just paid for were pointless because they'll have to run their own tests. Don't waste your time or money if your dog needs something more than a neuter or some shots, go to a real vet right away instead .

This place is not very professional, they ask to many questions ,they have you make an APOINTMENT ,they say they can help you,and the nurses there are afraid of your dog ,why waste peoples time, do yourselves a favor an go back to school an get some real training my dog is small 5 lbs

I love this animal hospital! Dr. Andrew Kamel is very professional and compassionate. He has always been there to take care of my pet. He helps ease the stress of a sick pet. I also recommend Airport Animal Hospital for all of your pet's grooming needs. My dog hates taking baths, but the lovely, kind, and professional staff at Airport Animal Hospital swiftly give my water-hating dog a bath and he actually likes it! I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic.

Dr Charley and Andrew Kamel are the best veterinarians! I highly recommend you take your pets to this wonderful clinic because the doctors and staff are very nice and caring. My dog is typically terrified of animal hospitals, but he loved going to see Dr Kamel. The doctors and staff will have your pet's best interest at heart. They are amazing and super kind and will go out of their way to make you and your pet feel comfortable. Highly highly highly recommend. A+

Hands down the best vet you can take your animals too. Since the first time I took my dog to this vet, I've never looked back and have been taking him here since. The staff/veterinarians are all so friendly and informative. Dr. Andrew really made my family feel comfortable. I have been taking my dog Teddy to Airport Animal hospital for 15 years, since my dog was a newborn puppy. From the second I walked through the door my pup and I were treated with the utmost respect and care. You can’t go wrong taking your fur baby to either of the brothers (Dr. Andrew Kamel and Dr. Charles Kamel) because they are super friendly, kind, excellent with animals, and extremely proficient. Both Dr Andrew and Dr. Charles are very professional, love animals, and are passionate about their jobs, so rest assured you and your pet will be in good hands. All of the staff is friendly and comforting and will make sure your pet is taken care of. Both doctors are very well-trained and love animals, which is reflected in their excellent bedside manners and passion for taking care of your pet.

First time we was in this hospital they didn’t tell us they charging $40 for consultation. They need to tell us before not after!!!!

Love and miss this place. I live no where near Fullerton now and use a local vet for check ups but whenever my old little bear is in need of surgery or more serious care I only trust him with Dr. Kamel. He has saved bobbie bear from infectious spider bites, bladder stone surgery, acl joint issues and more and at 14 he still moves like a puppy. Free take home meals post surgery was the best. Affordable, trustworthy, first rate care.

This review comes a bit late. I lost my Mia last year and she was still so little. There was something wrong with her neurologically and the doctors helped as much as they could. I completely trusted the doctors and staff, they always kept me so informed. When we had to say our goodbyes we were a crying mess and the doctor gave us as much time as we needed. We had already been coming here with my dog Luna and she will be 11 this April and is in great shape. Our new dog Leo is in great shape too and I love coming here. I have zero complaints. thank you to the doctors and staff for always being so dedicated and sweet to my family, my dogs and myself. You are all awesome!

My old vet put me on hold 3 times for 20 minutes or more. Made one call, got right in the next day and my Sadie is a new dog! Thanks!

On Saturday morning August,22th my miniature dauchound was attacked by a coyote I called Airport Hospital and they walked me through what I had to do to try and stop the bleeding so I applied pressure near his throat and proceeded to the Hospital within seconds upon arrival I was met by a vet technician she was very pleasant and professional and was able to calm me down Dr Kimbel came and took a look at my dog Lefty he explained that he needed to do surgery because Lefty was in critical condition I left him in his hand and thought for sure that I would not see my best friend ever again approximately 6 hours had passed when I received a call stating that surgery went well and that Lefty was stable and that if he continued to improve there was a possibility that he may be released I jumped for joy a couple of more hours past and the Dr said he was going to release him home with pain medication and antibiotics 2 days later Lefty started being himself jumping running eating an so on ,but I want to thank all the personnel who played a role in saving my best friends Life ???????? thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Took my dog yesterday, Dr. Kamel was very helpful. He explained to me the different treatment options in a simple but methodical way.

My husband and I have gone to Airport Animal Hospital for 6 years now, bringing in all of our doggies and definitely referring our local friends to their facilities as well. This family owned business goes above and beyond to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of your furry friends. They've held our hands while we went through emergency surgeries, mass removals, infections, irregular bowel movements, and more... and I wouldn't have it any other way. Their genuine sympathy and empathy go beyond just being a vet; they've become an extension of our family -- people that my pups have no problem trusting (except for my little one, but she's just an overall terror to everyone). Dr. Charlie and Dr. Andrew are exceptional at what they do, and the girls in the front and techs in the back are no different. We truly are so grateful for everything they've done for us and our pets.

Very unprofessional. I took my cat in for a bath and flee prevention but when I picked him up he was still the same, there was no sign of a shower especially no sign of the flees being gone. Once home my cat was still scratching and found flees on him. I called back to see if there was anything I can do and this one lady was contradicting everything I said and wanted to argue with me after I had paid 60 dollars and there was nothing good done to my cat. I hate this place. And mind you this was my second bad experience. he only thing there good for is taking your money!

Dr. Charlie is the best, I trust him completely with all my animals. His staff is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!

Honestly, I don’t know how to start with this place. First of all I came across Dr. Kamel (Charles) and airport animal hospital when my precious Pomeranian needed emergency services. She ended up having a seizure which led to a stroke. This was back in 2013. He was amazing at not only treating my baby, but keeping me calm and clearly explaining everything. I knew right away this was our new vet. I have moved to Ireland and now back home in Hollywood. I still go to both Dr. Kamel’s. I love them and their care. I still have my Pom and another dog. I will never go anywhere else. They are seriously the best around. Excellent care, affordable, amazing quality, friendly staff. I love everyone at this office. 100000% recommend.

This place is very affordable and treated my dog for fleas with good medicine. They are open 24 hours for any emergency services that is very important for me because you never know when your pets might need immediate medical treatment, thankfully we haven't use their emergency hours but so far we are happy with the services.

The doctor is so nice. This place is very affordable. The have emergency after hours and he is very supportive of your situation and decisions. He doesnt try to charge your everything under the sun like some places.
