Barking Beauties Fresno, California

I set an appt. for 10 a.m, recieved a text at 10:05 that her appt. had been set at 10:30. I had just dropped my daughter's dog off ????. I was told I would get a call back when she was finished, I ended up having to call back to get an approximate pick up time. She was cleaned up fairly well. Probably will not be going back ????

Been coming to this place here and there a couple of times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, the cuts on the my pup come out great but the staff members always seem to have an attitude and don’t seem very welcoming, sometimes I do understand days are busy and stressful which is why I would come back again but it seems like every time I come, the staff is bothered and unwelcoming. To be particular it’s a skinny petite white girl that’s usually there in the mornings.

I called them today and they are getting my Bear in for Tuesday. I'm so happy! This will Bears first time with Baking Beauties!

Supper great place the person who took care of my Bruno did a great job and was supper nice.

I was a Walk-in, they took her in right away, a few hours later and she was done. My Pennie is very skittish, but she looked so happy when I picked her up. I take her to work with me everyday and she was showing off her new hair style at my office to my staff they loved her new hair cut....Thank you

I read bad reviews, but decided to give them a chance, plus they're a local business so I wanted to show support. I had an "appointment" at 10:30 am so I dropped off my baby before, long story short, she didn't get her haircut until about 2 pm when I picked her up it was obvious she was extremely hot and when we got home she went straight to her water and drank a lot. I will not be going back. "You only get one chance to make a first impression," and that wasn't a good one. ????

I have taken our Cockapoo to Barking Beauties for about a year now. We have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff! Miranda is our groomer, and when we request something new to try, she always delivers! My dog has never came home in anything other than a good mood. When Bella had an accident in her crate as she was waiting to be picked up, Miranda gave her another bath an blow dry with no questions asked or extra fees. I will continue to support local businesses and Bella will continue to go here!

I don't know if it was reading the bad reviews or the actual vibe of the place but it just made me uncomfortable. The actual groom was pretty good though they missed all 4 dew claws on the nail grind. The actual service on my dog was fine I just probably won't go back. The place just doesn't feel like you can be comfortable and that makes me nervous.

Beat groomers in town my dogs always look perfect coming out and smell great too

I took two Australian Shepard in for a hair cut. I got them back shaved. I said please don’t shave them just a short hair cut. You shouldn’t shave an Aussie / a double coated breed. I was charged full price and let them know my concerns but in the end I still paid full price for a cut that can harm my dog due to high sun exposure and now them not having the coat to protect them. Hopefully it grows back normal, part of the reason you don’t have double coat breeds. On top the cuts are choppy with no style to from the neck to the back.. just a buzzed square line. I wish I could have a better review. Barking beauties can respond but the photos say it all look at the neck line. Zero care and the worst customer service from the owner!

I love going to this place. It has reasonable rates. My dog always comes back looking great.

Took my miniature schnauzer there for a puppy cut first time, they shaved him completely almost to the skin and left his facial hair long and uneven. My puppy is traumatized. Also got charged 70$ and didn’t even trim the nails. Will not be going back.

I am so pleased with the service I received from Barking Beauties. I took my 100 lb German Shepherd mix and my 8 lb mixed Terrier for haircuts and groom and they came out so beautiful! They have gotten so many compliments. They are so much calmer now with their lovely haircuts during this summer heat. I just had to let everyone know how happy I am to have taken them here. I almost took them to a different place because it was closer to me and cheaper but they had a two week wait and now I'm glad they went to Barking Beauties. Thank you Susan and all the girls there! See you again!

Great place to get your dog's taken care of fast and thorough.

I'm so disappointed this was my third time taking my dogs. The first time was great then the second time I was very disappointed in the cut and bath... I called this time and explained I wasn't happy with the second time I went and they reassured me I would be happy with my service.. today when I picked up my dogs once again the disappointment was to the highest and the lady who helped me was rude and said oh well... I will never come back they will never rob me again... definitely would not recommend..

Hazel and Bitsy enjoy their time there at Barking Beauties. And yes they come home with nice haircuts,smelling great, And with little bows and matching bandanas! Great friendly service! Our dogs are completely relaxed on the ride home

Came here to get 2 of my dogs groomed and found that one of the groomers irresponsibly wrapped the leash around his neck so tight he was in the car choking !! I was enraged for someone to carelessly do this especially when my dog has a collar to be clipped!!Furthermore, when calling back to complain all I got was ; “ I’ll take note of this “ with no apology or acknowledgement. Will never come here again, this was a horrible experience!!

My dog was burned horribly down his back and side. The groomer said it was because he has a skin condition. If he does, change your method. You dont take an animal and just torture it to get done. I wont be going back.

They always do a great job

I would like to preface this review by making it known this was my puppies first time ever getting groomed. I will add he’s not super trained and not too socialized yet. With that being said, I also want to take responsibility as an owner for not doing more research into how horrible and absolutely unacceptable this place is. The fact that this place can still operate despite all the horrible reviews and disservices it continues to spew, is beyond me. I took my puppy with the hopes that he would have a fairly pleasant experience. Unfortunately it was anything but. We should’ve known something was up by how rude the employees were over the phone. But most of all the fact, that they had the audacity to shave my puppy bald and claim he was biting, excessively matted and knotted is absolutely disappointing. I went back to review the feedback of several other dog owners and realized this is a common occurrence. As a fair warning, stay as far away from this place as possible. I will NEVER go back. I’ll learn to groom my dog myself before I ever think of this place as an option. Truly disappointed, bothered, and disgusted by the lack of integrity, professionalism, and compassion. What’s worse of all is despite doing the bare minimum and shaving my dog haphazardly bald, they did nothing else I originally asked to be included in the service, and they still had the audacity to charge $70. Never again.

My girlfriend brought my dog here and they did an excellent job with the nail, grooming and he smelled like blueberries!

Today was our first visit to Barking Beauties and when I picked up my babies I was thrilled to see how Beautiful they looked and smelled!!!. I was previously going to Petsmart but the past few times they didn't do well at all so I started looking for somewhere new. I have 3 small dogs and grooming all three gets costly so I really want a good job. The girls were nice welcoming and wrote down my specific asks for each dog. I loved the text reminders of my appointment time also. My dogs looked perfect and they added cute Bandanas for each of them. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who groomed them. I definitely will be returning. We are taking them on a trip with us to a hotel geared for pets! I know they will be the best looking/smelling dogs there!

I went to Barking Beauties today for the first time for a bath & cut! My fur baby is a shorkie and has had miserable experiences from other groomers, but this place!?!?! Oh my lord I was SO SO thrilled to see my JarJar, I barely recognized him! He looks phenomenal. I give your shop a 5 star. I am forever grateful you guys are still open during these crazy times, bless you!! ????????????

They can always get Honey in. Thats such a plus because my schedule is up and down. Flexable and great people. Honey likes it there. They do what i ask not what THEY want to do.

My dog always comes back super cute and clean. Plus the little bandanas they give him are adorable!

10/10 recommend this groomer to anyone! No other groomer gives my dog back smelling so good. They do a great job and are so friendly too.

I love Barking Beauties! I've brought three generations of my babies to be groomed here, and I'm never disappointed. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and my babies always leave feeling happy and refreshed! It is a little more pricey that other groomers, but I've never minded paying the few extra bucks for the great care and amazing service!

Barking Beauties! Wow! Thank you so much for taking in not only 1 but all 3 of my fur babies at once, last minute for a bath & groom! You guys exceeded my expectations!
