Animal Compassion Team Fresno, California

This is the second time in 6 years that I used ACT and am extremely satisfied with their service. I checked daily over a dozen sites in the valley in the last 2 months and once again they were able to take care of me. I would say they are one of the best shelter/adoption homes in the area and would not hesitate to recommend them.

They are THE best. They help fur babies find forever homes the right way especially when you get from a foster I got to go meet my dog before and love on her and just fall in love. Now she's my forever fur baby and I love her so much. Hands down the best dog I've had ????

We adopted a beautiful baby boy from them a couple of years ago. He was in one of their foster homes. He is the best dog we have ever had. So loving and well-behaved. I highly recommend this team. They are all wonderful.

I really like the team that ACT has. They clearly care a lot about the dogs in their care. Plus their boss walks in the mornings are a great way to get to know the animals.

We really love how they make sure the animals find the right homes! They have a wonderful staff and volunteers. We are so in love with our tiny sweet chihuahua we named Molly. She is the sweetest now 5 lbs of pure love and joy. She had arrive the night before we got to meet her. She was a scared little thing but trusted the staff lady. I take her with me every I can or she stays with daddy. She has bonded well we my husband and myself. She is a well behaved little Angel and wants please us. We are very gentle with her she has full trust in us now and Molly wants to know where I am at all times. She was fearful at night but now sleeping in her kennel in our room has calmed her. I wanted a lap dog and that is her favorite place. She must not have had toys before but now is starting to play and sleep with them. Now that it is a bit warmer she has enjoyed walks and loves our big back yard when we go out together and play in the yard. Thank you so much she has brought us so very much joy!!

Took a long time for initial contact, but everything went smooth afterwards...was a nice environment for the animals, and staff were excellent and professional.

So easy to adopt from here! We got the sweetest guy who was fixed and microchipped for us.

ACT is such a great place for the animals! The volunteers and staff truly care and do everything possible to help the animals find loving homes. They show love and compassion to all in their care ❤ I am so thankful to ACT for keeping my babies out of a high kill shelter, nursing them back to health and allowing them to become a part of our family!

Decent place, staff is friendly and they are a no kill shelter so there's that. They took in a two day old kitten to bottle raise it when mom abandoned it. Not a lot of places will do that!

I adopted my sweet kitty from them, so I was excited to go back for a puppy. I have been watching the site and Facebook page for a while now. I have seen puppies being adopted that never showed up in the adoption site. So I asked if there was a different place I should be looking and was told that sometimes dogs have families lined up and never go on the site. A dog was found and was being brought in I contacted them and said I wanted him as soon as he was available. He was then featured on Facebook and put up in the adoption page. I was told I had to put in an application, so I did. I was then told that there were better applicants then me. When I questioned again about me telling them that I wanted him as soon as he was brought in I was told all dogs have to go up for adoption and no dogs are held. Yet I was told previously that they do make prior arrangements and adopted them out without them ever going up for adoption on the page. If feel they have bad policies and don't handle the adoptions properly. I am very sad that I was ready and will to help a sick dog out and love him and I was told I was not good enough.

These people care soooo much for animals it uplifts one's spirit. My cats were kept from me from Olsen Foster Care and I reached out to them. Even tho no progress was made getting my four cats home the concern they showed me was genuine. I have never experienced until now a Foster who keeps my precious fur babies and dictates to me her rules in order to get them back. I've been devastated. So much so there are days I just can't handle life without them. These cats I rescued from abusive environments or they were orphans I bottle fed since just days old. I miss them sooo much I can't sleep. To think that Mary Olsen Foster Care would do this to anyone is just incomprehensible to me and my children.

Well experienced staff who will give their all to place a rescue in the right forever home. I adopted my Odie from them,and I'm grateful for him everyday. Well organized and compassionate pet team. Highly recommend ACT!!!!????????????????????????????????????

This was a very peaceful place. It was very clear that the staff really have a heart for these surrendered pets.
