First, they spent less than five minutes on our dog’s first annual physical exam. Second, this vet tried forcing us to fill our dog’s prescription at the clinic, which is illegal in California. They quoted us nearly $100 for giardia medication. CVS filled the prescription for $10.15! Last, the vet retaliated against our decision to fill our prescription elsewhere. I was informed the vet wouldn’t care for our dog anymore. Again, that’s illegal.

What a wonderful experience! Truly caring and compassionate people. I felt the emphasis was on my dogs needs not the businesses. The later is what drove me away from my previous vet. Dr Perry, Alison and the rest of the staff have my admiration and appreciation. I showed up at 8am w my dying chiwawa aspirating and they denied her emergency treatment without even letting the vet look at her state. How cruel can they be? Pretty fricken cruel. Don’t rely on them . Go to Covington Creek Hospital! He was the only vet that took her in. Btw she died. Woe is me.

I evacuated to Fort Bragg due to smoke from the wildfires, but I failed to bring my dog’s flea and tick and heartworm drugs. Dr. Perry and her staff gave me a treat bag with the needed drugs, dog treats, a dog toy, and treats for me - all at no cost. What a kind, caring group of people. I wish these thoughtful professionals could be my Curry’s regular caregivers. Thank you, good, kind people.

Out of town and our pooch got an ear infection-they hooked us up, gave us a cute little bag with candy and a squeaky dog toy with the meds!

I have had my 3 dogs and both cats here over the last year and every time has been a good experience. Dr Perry is kind and knowledgeable, as is her staff. Also, I've never had to wait. I've been recommending this vet to my new friends here, as we just moved to Fort Bragg over a year ago. Very accommodating and considerate.

Let me begin by saying Dr. Perry and her staff are excellent, and the facility that she operates out of, Mendocino Coast Animal Hospital, is top-notch. I have been bringing both of my dogs and cats to see her ever since I moved to Fort Bragg. My Shar Pei mix developed a terrible skin rash seemingly overnight. When I called Dr. Perry at her facility, it was very late on a Thursday, and they already closed for the evening. And due to the coronavirus and the subsequent change in their hours, their facility would not be open until Monday morning. I left a very panicked message on her answering machine and resigned to the fact that I was either going to have to take him to an emergency vet or wait until Monday morning to get him seen. Flash forward to the next morning, Dr. Perry herself called me back and offered to drop off medications for my boy directly to my home. I have never in my lifetime of owning pets had a veterinarian go so far out of her way to provide care for her patients. I will never take my pets to see any other veterinarian so long as Dr. Perry has a practice nearby. Both Dr. Perry and her staff seem to love and care for our animals as much as we do. That is one quality in a veterinarian that I will always look for, and I am beyond happy that Dr. Perry and her staff have this quality.

Fantastic vet and staff. They treat us and our dogs like family, and it always feels like a safe place. Our dogs love them too! Would give more stars if possible.

This staff has been nothing but helpful with all my animals needs. They always go above and beyond to help my fur babies. even during this pandemic they make sure to keep us and our animals safe when they need to come in for a visit. Love this place!

My husband our dog Gypsie girl and I moved to Fort Bragg Ca. 5.5 years ago and we had to search for the right Veterinary hospital for our fur baby. We decided on Doctor Perry and staff at the Mendocino Coast Animal Hospital, and I am so glad we did. She and her staff are a perfect fit for our family. If we have an emergency we are seen ASAP and they all treat Gypsie as if she were their own fur baby. I love how informed the staff members are and most important Doctor Perry listens to us when we bring Gypsie in for care. We just love all of the staff and Doctor Perry and we will always bring our fur babies there. Thanks so much for all of the years of excellent care. The Bias family.

Helpful through hard times... I went there in a panic with my 13 year old dog only 30 min befor they closed, i was balling my eyes out cause i knew somthing very wrong was happeng to my dog, i ran inside and told them i need help my dog is in the car, she cant walk somthings wrong. Whitout hesitation a dr came straight out with her helper n said they were sorry but she was dying, and she was soaking wet from her bath , when we decided it was time they were there with the shot and never had to move her out of my car, the stayed with us n helped us, I will never be albe to say how grateful i am for them that day , and after all that they didnt charge me. Amazing place great people thank you for making our experience less painful

Very disappointed. My chihuahua tumbled out of an SUV and appeared injured. I called to see if I could get an emergency appointment and was told the vet was leaving soon and wouldn’t see my dog.

I was only here in the waiting room with a friend but everything appeared to be in order

My dog was hit by a car and required 2 months of several visits per week to manage the wound and bandage on the leg. Dr Perry and her staff did an incredible job and I feel my dog's leg was saved because of their care.
