Blue Ravine Animal Hospital provided exceptional medical care for my pets, three dogs. Our treatments here have included exams, surgeries, and preparation to cross the metaphoric Rainbow Bridge. My dogs have received great veterinary attention from vets, technicians, and all staff here.

I love this place. The staff is so caring and helpful. I can't imagine taking my animals anywhere else.

Super high quality care but also stupidly expensive. Like, the most expensive compared to any other vet I have gone too and I totally wouldn't have been able to afford it in my early twenties. Even now they blow up my Carecredit card often. But they do have excellent staff, sweet fish tanks and a giant clean building.

Friendly and honest staff. I drive over 30 minutes to get bring my babies there because I know they will be in good hands

Dr. Sweet, Dr. Wolfe and all the support staff have taken care of my dog for the last 10 years. They are so helpful and straightforward and never pressure me to do anything that isn't absolutely necessary for his care. I appreciate all they've done for us over the years.

Everyone at Blue Ravine goes above and beyond to make sure both you and your pets are comfortable. From the front desk to the vet assistants and veterinarians, everyone is always in a great mood and it makes the visits even easier.

We have gone to them for years. They have always been patient and show loving kindness to our pets. Dr. Sweet is an excellent veterinarian. She always takes the time to listen to our endless questions and giving detailed instructions and information. They always work hard to get us in within a timely manner, even through COVID times. We highly recommend them.

Super fast no contact pandemic service

We've been using Blue Ravine Animal Hospital for about 7 years now. They are really nice people, however, have misdiagnosed issues with two of our dogs The first was about 3 years ago with our Irish Setter. She was suffering from an infection and was not doing well at all. We brought her in and she actually spent two nights there on i.v. antibiotics. The third day they called and said she is doing great and ready to go home. When we picked her up she was sort of okay. Blue Ravine staff basically told us that if she relapses to take her somewhere else! The next morning she would not get out of her bed or hardly move at all. Blue Ravine said she had meningitis. We took her to UC Davis Vetranarian Hospital where they immediately said she doesn't have meningitis but a localized infection probably in her eye. They changed her meds and spent 1 night with them and she came home good as new! Fast forward to 3 weeks ago. Our Shepard Husky mix was having pain near his jaw. He's almost 10 so we were worried and brought him in. They did a needle biopsy and determined it was a clogged saliva gland. Meds were prescribed. A week later after no improvement I took him back. They said oh he's fine and sold us another weeks worth of NSAID's. Last Saturday he ran out and was in extreme pain. BRAH said it would be 48 hours to refill his prescription. So we took him to UCDavis. There they performed biopsies, ultrasound, chest xrays etc. Saliva glands were fine. The swelling on his neck is cancerous tumor, and the lymph nodes are cancerous. Blue Ravine missed that. Both did needle biopsies. My dog currently is not doing well as we are still adjusting meds, but the UCD staff actually have been calling us daily to check on him and adjust on the fly! In VERY impressed with them. So Blue Ravine are very nice people, but if there's something wrong with your animal I'd advise taking the drive to Davis for accurate diagnosis.

Friendly staff and they have been great for adapting to the pandemic. I've taken my male Great Dane there to be neutered and was a smooth procedure. Prices are competitive as well.

Both the technicians and the vets have done a great job adapting to the pick up/drop off system for checking in pets. They have always been thorough in their explanations. I bring my great dane puppy here and they seem to also be asking questions specific to both large breeds and puppies any time I drop her off. They seem to be on top of it all.

This vet is the absolute best! I have a english bulldog who had surgery 2 weeks ago & they did so good. They went over everything with us before, during & after. They reassured us that we could call at anytime to check on our dog. All the staff are so helpful & nice. I drive an hour to this vet just so my dog can get great care. I would highly recommend this vet

Great place! Trust them with everything! Not the most inexpensive place but guaranteed results and great service. Inside of the building, if we ever get to go inside again, is amazing. Salt water tank and plenty of cushy bench seating. Offering coffee and water inside also.

Absolute best care and loving team!

Highly recommended! They taken care of several of my English Bulldogs cherry eyes in the past and again recently with my boy Twix. Its over an hour drive but well worth it because they are very knowledgeable about the breed. Thank you for helping Twix!

Love the care our dog receives at Blue Ravine Animal Hospital. All of the vets there provide great care! Our dog is older and has the need for more visits now. He is always happy to go inside because he gets so much attention.
