Liked the attentiveness of the Dr. (LaBert). Intake staff seemed standoffish. WAIT TIME FOR DISCHARGE WAS RIDICULOUS. Given that it is an emergency vet clinic, i get it, but could use a little more effort to get patients/owners out in a more timely fashion. Would I go back? Remains to be seen. If you don't mind waiting-good place overall.

Went here to have our dog checked out after being paralyzed in her back legs. Because of the pandemic or whatever you can’t go in with your pet you have to stay in your car which fine it’s whatever. We ended up needing to put the dog down. They had us waiting in the room without her for 2 hours while they attended to other patients. I had my cat put down before at a different vet, and it only took 1 hour from the time we got there and had him checked out and put down. SO TWO HOURS?!? My grandma was at least hoping they would wheel the dog in there so we could’ve spent that time with her. Finally I had it and I peaked my head out in the halls only to be told my our vet “I’ll be right there” and the other staff members were just chatting it up laughing . She didn’t come back til another hour so THREE HOURS we’re waiting in this room without our dog. . Finally they bring the dog in and get it done. Very upset with the customer service. Very insensitive staff. It was literally an all day process. Because we waited 2 hours just to have her checked out earlier in the day. Don’t go here and waste your money. Awful customer service!!

Excellent care, it would be wonderful of they had more capacity to help with wait times. Staff was careful, loving and communicated what was happening with my pet while she was being treated.

I brought my dog in because she was limping on her left leg. I was patient because I knew it wasn’t necessarily an emergency. 4 hours into my visit they took my dog back for an X-ray and said “we’re gonna take a quick X-ray and we’ll bring her right back to you, if she’s anxious is it okay if we give her a LIGHT sedation” and I said oh yeah that shouldn’t be a problem. 2 hours after she had been taken back and NO communication from anyone working there I asked the people at the front what was happening with my dog to which they responded “we just hit her with her third round of sedation” without asking me, without communicating with me, they sedated my dog THREE TIMES. After this another hour goes by, I said what the heck is going on. They said they’re waiting for 2 more people to be available to hold her down (mind you there had been 4-5 people at the front desk talking and on their phones the entire time this is going on). Finally another half our later they bring her out to me and tell me “she’s not really sedated” my dog was so out of it, falling over when trying to sit up straight, drooling whining and crying uncontrollably for the entire night, unable to walk. I have never experienced such incompetence in my life and I absolutely do not suggest taking your animal here.

Your care was excellent. Our Bennie was in good hands. The clinic staff was so patient and professional with all the incoming load of animals that needed medical attention while calming anxious owners. Its special to me to witness such kindness. Thank you.

First time I ever had to use emergency pet service. All staff was very understanding helpful and compassionate! It was very stressful for me because I love my Laberdoodle! And they took great care of her! Thank you.

My family and I had a very positive experience at Solano-Napa Pet Emergency. We rushed our Jack Russell to the ER on Sunday evening and the team was kind, very responsive, quick to access and help our little man feel better. They provided us with options and made us feel confident in our decision. Our pup is doing SO much better and feeling more like himself. We are SO grateful to the kind staff for supporting us through a scary time. - The Websters

For some reason my dogs always end up having to go to the vet in the middle of the night or weekends and I am very familiar with Solano Napa Pet Emergency. I LOVE this clinic and so does my Great Dane! Normally I need help getting him through the door when visiting a vet but when coming here no problem at all. Everybody is so nice, caring and professional. I am so grateful for this place.

There’s no way I could ever express how grateful I am for the service of this facility. I brought my toy poodle in for being attacked by another dog and right away they brought him back and went to work to stabilize him. He ended up having to stay the night at the facility and they recommended him being transferred to another facility in the morning for surgery. The doctor when I first brought my dog in was was so thorough in her explanations to me about his condition and I am so so thankful for everything thing she did for him. After they switched doctors for the night I was speaking to another doctor that went beyond for my dog. They were having a hard time finding a facility to approve the transfer and she even stayed nearly and hour past their closing time trying to find somewhere for him to go. I 100% trust and recommend this facility for going above and beyond. He is now at UC Davis and in amazing care as well.

I was very happy to find an emergency vet clinic that was somewhat close to where I live. I have 5 chihuahua's and I've never had to use an emerg. vet for the past 12+ years until now, and I'm glad that Solano-Napa Pet Emergency Clinic was there when my little 16 week old chihuahua suddenly became ill at 8PM on a Friday night! They got him in right away and the vet call me an hour later to explain things. We spent a total of 4 hrs. waiting there for him (which seemed like forever at the time), but they were pretty busy, had several labs to run and likely had animals that were sicker than my baby, so I understand. The cost was too be expected for an emergency situation. The staff were very friendly and caring as well.

They are super expensive; they helped but I don’t understand why they cost so much

I called asking a question about traveling with pets. Before I could even finish, the lady said with attitude: "This is an only emergencies hospital OK, only emergencies. Did you get that?. Dying pets. Did you get that? you need a veterinarian. We are only emergencies hospital" OK I made a mistake, Why the attitude? Thank you, I will make sure I never step foot near.

My dog received a thorough examination with x-rays, was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and given antinausea medicine and fluids injected under her skin. She returned to her normal healthy dog after a couple days of eating chicken, rice and cottage cheese.

The first time I had to visit this vet, my fur baby Rambo ended up needing to be put down due to bladder cancer. This was the worst experience of my life but this staff made me feel validated, heard and showed me so much empathy. I recently had to visit this vet again with my fur baby that had a large cut on her neck. The staff again was very kind and professional. I am aware that vet locations are taking the max cases their smaller staffing can handle so there was a short wait but nothing unreasonable. Thank you for helping care for my sweet Bailey and for patching her up.

We took our cat Cuddles here because she stopped eating and drinking, and started gagging and drooling badly... all they did was give her fluids and overcharge for some anti nausea medication... as she could not even swallow the medicine we went elsewhere, where we found out that she had an intestinal blockage and her stomach was full of gas... we didn’t have the money for her surgery so we unfortunately had to put her down ???????????? my husband was heartbroken... in tears..! We had to scrape for money to pay for everything.. we would have had the money for her procedure if it hadn't been spent at this place ???? Trust me I'm not the only one that had had a bad experience here!

I brought my dog for surgery here and everything supposedly went great but the staff are irresponsible lack of actually taken care of dogs there only priority is money. After surgery they should of kept an eye on my dog, she died from a heart attack from What we were told, they never kept an eye on her after surgery they put her in a cage n left her on her own, They should of watch Over her but no some nurses n doctors were busy on there phone. I’m other words they are animal killer this isn’t the first time they let an animal die I won’t ever take my dogs here so save your time

There are 2 reasons why it is not 5 stars. 1. EXTREMELY expensive 2. They aren't 24 hours and I had to transfer my poor baby to UC Davis in the morning. Other than that it was fantastic! My kitty had a urethra blockage and they got him in immediately. Gave him pain meds, put in a catheter and gave him fluids. Within a short while, pee made it's way out into the bag. He was treated very well. I definitely recommend them for an emergency, it just the cost was outrageous imo.

Siana was the one who helped us tonight, when we arrived with our kitty it was super packed and they were very busy and they still immediately took in our kitty. VERY HAPPY with how they operated, considering how much they were doing with so many animals. Thank you all :)

I took my kitty in as she appeared to have had a stroke. She's 14, her back legs quit working properly & her over all physical actions were not right. I received great communication from the vet on duty. She had had a mild stroke. Do to other ailments she has, she's at a higher risk for blood clots & vascular events. There were a couple other issues they discovered too. I wish my regular vet had told me these things as she had just been to her reg vet a week prior..

I would like to compliment this emergency clinic for allowing us the opportunity to get beloved 12 yr old pit mix in same night after he'd been hacking violently. They were kind on the phone, helpful and willing to work with our budget so he could be helped. We received nothing but compliments from the staff about our sweet boy and felt their care and compassion. I would recommend them for anyone needing help asap. Thank you

They took great care of my dog. They put your worries at ease and it shows how much they care about the animals.

These folks too great care of my dog. Thorough, professional, caring. But their on-line check-in system is very frustrating. It simply didn’t work. And when I brought this issue to the staff’s attention they simply gave me a set of paper forms to complete, saying that their new computer check-in system doesn’t work, often. So why ask me to use it!? They have no queue fir service. It’s an ER and triage is a necessary part of the business. But I was told 2-3 times over my 4 hour wait that the doctor would be right with me to review my dog’s situation. In spite of that’s issues, I would go back to this facility for the quality care. They simply need to figure out a working check-in system and figure out how to present a more accurate queue.

I have used the Solano-Napa pet emergency clinic several times now over the years with different pets and each time I felt that my animal family was getting the best care possible with very attentive doctors and staff. They don't mind you calling in to check up on your pet and will answer any and all questions you may have. Upon being released your pet is sent home with instructions for at-home care, if needed. I have had to make the horrible decision of putting a pet to sleep and was helped through it by a wonderful staff member. I feel secure knowing there is a great facility in this area looking out for our furry family members.

Eli was in distress and we couldn't get him into his regular vet so we were referred to your emergency clinic. I feel that the staff did a great job trying to diagnose his problem. He seems to be doing well now and we're very thankful for the good treatment he received! Thanks & blessings from Eli &Doug!

Because of a 24hr stay I delt with two vets ( ladies) each very sincere, kind and professional. No diagnosis, no resolution. But excellent care.

Receptionists were unprofessional talking about patients they just interacted with negatively and very much like gossip, told me they would assist me and asked me to sit down. Then proceeded to help everyone that walked in right after me and ignored me for over 30 minutes. Left without being seen..very dissatisfied
