They always take care of our dogs and have a great relationship with the local SPCA. Adopt!

We rescued a pup from SPCA Vacaville and we went back a couple of weeks later for vaccinations and met the vet Kelly Palm. She was nice and very helpful. Well guess what... She is the vet at Cal West! She personally came out and apologized since our appointment was running late. Again very nice and helpful. She even remembered us from SPCA! The experience here is a little different. Since they are small (and maybe because of Covid) they come out to your car after you call them and check in, and then take your pet inside while you wait . I trust Kelly with my pup knowing he is in good hands.

We have been going to Cal West for a long time. All our dogs have gone to Cal West Pet Hospital. It started with our rottweiler bullmastiff, Brandy Wine to our new puppy Max.

I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the amazing people who work here! My dog ate rat poisoning at the worst possible time, lunch time. I called a million animal hospitals and either they didn’t have emergency services or their staff already left for lunch, and everyone would keep referring me to other clinics knowing that I’m breaking down crying in desperation. Thank god this place answered and even though the vet & techs were about to close for lunch, stayed to help me after hours. My dog lost consciousness on the way and it was only a 10 minute drive from me, time is crucial and they were there for me even though I had never been here before. Amazing people with amazing hearts, I would have lost my puppy without them. I will forever just come here from now on!

Love the staff love the doctors!!!!!!! All of my pets have gone there for 19 years and I truly feel that they are top notch in care and in understanding for not only our fur babies but also us parents. I would absolutely advise my friends and family to go to cal west.

Dr. Palm was extremely kind and full of information helping me to learn about our newest family member. We had just adopted Paxton from the SPCA, she treated his conditions and gave him a check up. Grateful for your kindness and the friendliness of your staff.

We've been taking our pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat, to Cal West for about 2.5 yrs and they always have great service. We've worked with Dr. Palm and Dr. Bock and they've both been excellent. Definitely recommend

This was our first visit to Cal West and not under the best circumstances. After a brief meeting with Dr. Bock we both came to the same agreement that our cat who was just 1 1/2 months away from turning 16 years old, that it was time for us to say goodbye and send him over to Rainbow Bridge ????. The staff was very caring as well as Dr. Bock. I have several other cats and will continue to use Cal West in the future.

Super nice, compassionate staff, you call and wait in your car and they come out to get your pet. When services are rendered,they bring your pet back to your car. It's hassle free, and very safe for customer's, pets and staff.

Super friendly staff they took care of our Coonhound while she was sick. Forever grateful!

Dr. Bock is fantastic, caring and loving veterinarian.

We took our newly adopted 7 year old Shih Tzu to get assessed for help because she was having seizures, trouble breathing and constant coughing. I had called all vet hospitals in my area and none were as helpful as Cal West Pet Hospital. This was an emergency and they arranged to see our dog before they opened. Nurse Sheryl was helpful, caring and thorough with our dog. We didn’t want our dog to suffer and she arranged for the Doctor (can’t remember her name but she was amazing) to see our dog immediately because of her symptoms. We were so sad we decided to put her to rest, no more suffering. Nurse Sheryl shed a tear with us we are so sad to see our dog go. I am so very thankful for Cal West Pet Hospital they truly cared about our pet and our concerns. I recommend this vet hospital.

What I can tell people about this pet hospital is it's a small building with very cramped exam rooms. The upside Dr. Palm was extremely engaged with me and answered about my adoptee Pepe aka Pepper. She knew his background and filled in the blanks as to my cats history and why he was placed for adoption.
