Cold Nose Pet Salon Escondido, California

I just wanted to put this review up because I’ve been going to this groomers for a while for my two smaller dogs. Always received the best results my dogs have always been happy when I pick them up and they always look great. I recently called Laura at the Cold Nose Pet Salon and I have now left four messages over the past month with no response. I do not understand why she’s not getting back to me but was wondering if anyone else is getting the same result. Not happy, very unprofessional not to return my call

My pets come out of the salon so beautiful, very knowledgeable staff, and very caring

While we don't take our dog to a groomer regularly we always bring them here when they're due for a wash and nail trim. Can't recommend them enough. They do a great job on haircuts as well!

They're very patient with the dogs, and very polite to the people. They're quick and efficient.

We've been taking our silky terrier to be groomed at Cold Nose Pet Salon since we got her three years ago. Our vets staff recommended this groomer as they take their pets there as well. Excellent staff at this groomer, especially Laura. They are caring and gentle and even managed to calm our baby who is quite fidgety when we leave her at first. As soon as Laura gets her in her arms she stops crying. They do an excellent job oh, and our baby always looks gorgeous when we pick her up. Also their prices are great!

Laura is simply AMAZING. I have 4 dogs.. 3 that stay with me full time Larbradane Murphy, Mini Australian Zander and Mowgli a Maltese... the other Maltese Sami stays with my mother in law... I have used Laura for years for all the grooming needs. She is so kind and caring to my boys and has such great instinct and makes their grooming calming and as comfortable as possible. Her cuts on my Maltese are always perfect. My mini Australian is blowing out his undercoat and can be difficult to groom, but Laura does such an amazing job. I tried soooo many groomers in the past and I am so greatful for Laura and Cold Nose staff. - Thanks Laura...Jessica Myers

Love this place! My lil Yorkie gets her nails trimmed here! Everyone is super friendly & accommodating! She's too old & scared to get groomed anymore, otherwise she'd get groomed here too. The dogs you can see are happy,but anxious to go home. Clean too

My bulldog, Penny, loves going here. I tell her "We're going to the cleaners!" and she's ready to go. Everyone is friendly, and they do great job keeping Penny clean.

They did a good job the first time, but the second time they weren't willing for me to wait for her. Wanted to keep her in a cage for 4 hours. Very inefficient, horrible communication between employees. Would definitely not recommend this place.

I have a small white poodle. Who loves to be out by ours cars and pool. When she goes into her session at cold nose it's hard to realize that it's her. Because she's just so fluffy!!

Took my Standard poodle Puppy in for grooming!! The first three times where ok the forth time they cut her leg with scissors. When i picked her up late Saturday I didn't notice it because I keep her long. Sunday night I noticed her licking the top of her hind leg lifted the hair up and there was the cut the flap of skin was still attached with the hair. They were closed on Monday Called the Cold nose on Tuesday Morning and they Accessed me of doing that to my own dog and was just after the money !! Right !! That's why I just paid eighty dollars to have here groomed!! They sure could have handled this a whole different way.They told me they weren't responsible and to go somewhere else !! Took my dog to my vet and the bill was 130.99 my vet said it was a scissor cut !! Sent the bill and info to the Cold Nose with no response at all. Just saying !! I guess I learned a Big lesson ! !Very Sad !!

These people are wonderful. I had a dog who was very scared and nervous around other dogs and they would come out to the lobby area to trim her nails quickly.

I haven't use this groomer for years but i had no idea they were still in business so that is why i am now rating them. I had a horrible experience some years ago. I took my cat into to get groomed as usual and they usually did a great job however that day when i got him home it didn't look like they did much at all. My cat was acting very strange and i finally took him to the vet to figure out was was wrong and they BURNED MY CAT WITH SCALDING HOT WATER. He had SECOND AND THIRD DEGREE BURNS a large portion of his back. I couldn't see it because he was a long hair cat! He had to have surgery. It cost me thousands of dollars and months of healing. Coldnose took NO responsibility for this. They denied any wrong doing. Shame on them! I could really care less about the money i spent it was about what they did to my poor cat and the hell and pain he went through because of their negligence. Not sure if Cold nose is the same owner back then as now but i had to post this. They took no responsibility, no apology, no remorse. Please think twice before you take your four legged child here. Please.........

Been taking my dogs to Cold Nose, on and off, since about 1994. Yep, that's how long they've been taking care of our best and most unquestioning Family members and Friend :-)
