All Creatures Hospital Del Mar, California

All Creatures Hospital has always been top notch. We took our pet Labrador there for his lifespan and they recently helped us put him to rest. We couldn't have asked for a more compassionate team at ACH for this hard decision last year. We have since adopted a rescue dog from a local shelter (honoring Betty White). We look forward to having ACH care for him as well! Wouldn't take our pet anywhere else! 5 stars for ACH

I have a mystery cat that has had several challenging problems and Dr. Norell and other veterinarians and staff at All Creatures have been amazing at finding the right treatments for our kitty. They really care and go above and beyond to help your pets.

Since 1998 I have been using All Creatures Hospital. I can confess that if it was not for them, especially Dr. Mulvany my first dog would have passed at the age of 3 or 4. She lived for 15 years and that is thanks to the care and love of All Creatures Hospital. Now I have another doggie and I always take him to All Creatures Hospital as well. Very trustworthy vets as well as the staff. I have always felt confident whenever I have used their services. I trust All Creatures Hospital. Thank you Dr. Mulvany. You are the BEST!

Very kind and friendly staff, from front desk to vet techs. Dr Norell clearly experienced, knowledgeable and understanding about cost-benefit analysis regarding care of my sick senior citizen kitty.

Quick & easy appointment to update vaccines & general check up. You call when you arrive & someone comes out to your car. You can go in with your pet or they’ll take your pet in for appointment. I chose to have them take my dogs in. The vet comes out & talks to you after they check your dog. Very efficient & everyone is very personable. I love Dr. Mulvaney because he has a love of Labs & we’ve had all 4 of our slabs over the years see him.

All Creatures Hospital is an excellent veterinary clinic and hospital, the vets and assistants, particularly, the assistant Matt, are extremely skilled, efficient, and treat animals beautifully. They are very respectful of Covid and offer a great concierge service and are 100 percent compliant with CDC requirements. i would recommend All Creatures Hospital highly to anyone needing any veterinary help, simple or complex. I have taken my pets to All Creatures for over 20 years. They have always provided great care, both routine and in emergencies. I always get a prompt response when I contact them and they are always very user-friendly.

We have been going here for years. The last visit we had here was terrible. It started out with an extremely rude front desk girl named Shauwntel. To begin with, when I called to make an appointment over the phone, she claimed my dog was not a patient there. She had misunderstood my name and was so rude when I asked her how she was spelling it. Her reply was "just like you told me". When we arrived at the office, I asked her to help me submit the claim to my insurance. She was so put off by the request and stated "oh we don't do that anymore". Then we proceeded to see Dr. Wood. I have never felt like someone was trying to get me to do so many unnecessary tests just to get more money. When we went to check out Shauwntel quoted me more than double the actual cost of the visit after I questioned why it was so expensive. Apparently, someone had keyed in an incorrect test for the billing. I would highly recommend NOT taking your pet here. After leaving, it made me have very little confidence in the care my pet received. We will most definitely be finding a different vet.

This place deserves NO stars. DO NOT CONSIDER EVER BRINGING YOUR PETS HERE, if you can help it. DO NOT CONSIDER WORKING HERE! It has been seen and proven this place is the worst. They are NO HELP. THIS PLACE IS FAILING THEIR PEOPLE! and this is my very first review, so that REALLY means this place messed up. Wish, I would've seen the yelp reviews before stepping foot into this place. The mistreatment I read about was terrifying. In opinion, there is NOTHING good about this place. Please listen to the other people's experiences so you'll find a better place with better care for your loved ones.

We have taken our golden retrievers to All Creatures for 17 years. We feel great about the care we have received from them. Our first golden's health was challenging and All Creatures met all of them. Our current vet is Dr. Norell. I feel very good about recommending AC and Dr. Norell to any pet owner that wants to give their pet the best of care.

Sara was very helpful to take our order for dog food by phone, charge the correct account and deliver the bag to our car. It would help her more if the the two formularies of Royal Canin food were separated in the office so she could bring us the right bag on first try. She gladly exchanged the bags at our request. Dr. Mulvaney provided excellent service and recommended new medications appropriate to her age and needs. He gave us personal and prompt services.

Best place if you want personal care for your pets

Dr. Mulvany was So intuitive on the latest news on large breed dogs/puppies.considering not only diet, but the question of when to spay a larger breed. Thinking of all areas ,including facts on the timeline of their growth plates, etc. I am continually impressed at All Creatures staff, Thank You !

I don't quite have words to express my gratitude for Dr. Mulvany and literally the entire staff at All Creatures for their extraordinary compassion and care taking on taking on my dog Rocco who had botched surgery at VHS in San Marcos (I have lots of words for them). They took a horrible situation and restored my faith there are still amazing people who are there for you children, oh I meant pets! :) If you are looking for a GREAT vet and genuine compassion for your animals , this is the place for you.

We have taken our pets (dogs and cats) to All Creatures for over 20 years. I am always struck by how much EVERYONE there (receptionists, techs, vets, etc) loves pets and how uniformly kind they are. A number of vets have practiced there during these past 2 decades and we have never worked with one in whom we did not have confidence and trust. We are currently working with Dr. Norell and really love her. She is conscientious, knowledgable and practical. The followup is wonderful-we receive a phone call after every visit and with every lab test result. We moved from Rancho Santa Fe to La Jolla 5 years ago and still bring our pets to All Creatures. We highly recommend them.

Only place I would ever take my Pets. Always professional, welcoming and very caring when age dictated the inevitable. Along with a new puppy and 3 kittens over the years.

My two Goldens have been seen by these doctors for over 6 years and I have found them to very thorough and knowledgeable. I have received wonderful advice that is very helpful to the well being of my dogs. They take the time to review everything after the exams, giving me a peace of mind that my dogs are healthy and happy.

Always a great experience. The care of our Bailey is always so appreciated. From the front office staff to the Vet's - everyone is just wonderful. Thank you so much!

We just picked up a 1 1/2 year old golden retriever from Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. He is very fearful after having a rough life. All Creatures staff was so incredibly gentle with him. He is on his way to being a healthy dog. Must say we have been going to All Creatures for about 23 years and the staff and doctors have always been there when we needed them.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of care received. I have lost belief in this veterinarian establishment & it should not even have the word “Hospital’’ in it’s name. It has become a disgrace to the Veterinarian Community in past years.

They are always kind to my pets. That means a lot to me and them.
