I found Sit Means Sit at a Home and Garden Show, they are nothing but the upmost respectful people. I used them to train and board my American Bully Riley, and they did an amazing job. They really make a connection with the dogs, every time Riley sees one of them she gets more excited to say Hi each time. An amazing group of people!

I sent my reactive, anxious, 1 year old Pit Bull / German Shepard mix to a 2 week board and train and am so happy I did! My boy Ozzy has been dog reactive since he was a puppy and was never able to socialize him well because of it and was afraid to take him out on hikes or walks. I am 5ft 99 lbs and he’s a tall 75 lbs so getting him to a place where we both felt confident and in control was imperative. He primarily worked with Caity and after a week she had him walking right at her heels, no leash, with other dogs in the room. I was floored!! Ozzy is so much more confident overall: he doesn’t bark at the gardener or anyone that approaches the front door (this used to send him into a panic), he can be alone outside away from me totally happy (used to have major separation anxiety), and most importantly he can be around other dogs without lunging or barking AND I am prepared to handle it. I still have a lot to learn about training him but with lifelong weekly group classes available to me (at no cost!) I know we will get there.

I love the Sit Means Sit family! The trainers did such a fantastic job with Maya! I am now able to walk my dog off leash anywhere.

By far the best dog trainers around. Couldn't be happier with the work they did with Woofles. Thank you!

Sit Means Sit is absolutely the best dog training company there is. Other dog training methods don't even come close. I know I've tried them all. I trained my super high energy American Pit Bull Terrier with the Sit Means Sit system and I don't even need a leash any more. I get compliments daily on how awesome and incredibly well behaved my dog is. Now I can take my dog with me almost everywhere I go. I know I couldn't have done it without Sit Means Sit!

Sit Means Sit has been a life changer for us. We had our two black labs trained here and we have had nothing but compliments. We don’t need leashes on them, they can go run around on our acreage without supervision and come as soon as we call. Best decision we could have made for them!

This is the sorriest dog training I've ever seen adam likes to lie just like one of his trainer's when they get caught they try to point the finger at someone else 10 sec video's of dog going in circles they do it because they have the control in there hand that they push a button that shocks the poor dog

Sit means sit are complete frods when my dog left I had no problem putting my dogs normal cooler on him but when he came back from sit means sit my dog runs from his normal cooler the trainers tryed to say that my friend was making me turn against them but she's not I see the abuse for my self my Germansheperd showed fear the last time they were here two days ago my dog could not wait for me to remove the shock coller the trainers say he's testing me but he's not . my dog has never clung to me unless they were around.

Adam and his staff are the best! They worked with our dog, and helped us learn to work with him too. Trooper is super high energy with a lot of drive. We could never take him places where he would be distracted by other dogs, people or even scents. Now he is known throughout our neighborhood as "the best trained dog ever". They completely changed our relationship with Trooper, making our relationship the best we've ever had with our dogs.

You wrote a review for Sit Means Sit Dog Training East Bay 39 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 8/16/2017 I have irrefutable evidence to prove that they are at fault and they refuse to take any accountability. It's not bullying- it is me trying to protect people from having their pets harmed. Adam and Elora are the ones with morally suspect behavior- they claim to take such great care of the dogs and yet my dog comes back with neck injuries/infections and fleas. They claim to offer cash or credit card payment yet I have video and documented evidence where it is clearly stated to us that they only take cash. They gave me a training collar without an instruction guide and never told me to take it off or move it. They never checked in with us despite saying they would. They promised to return my dog's bed and they never did (and I doubt they ever gave it to her to use). Wouldn't you expect good dog trainers to follow up with you if you had paid them $3,465 in cash????? And you would most certainly expect them to give you all pertinent documentation, and return any assets that you had given to them for your dog. I did a legal search and there have been hundreds of cases filed against Sit Means Sit across the United States for dogs being injured by their collars so I am NOT the only one. And I am not just upset about the injuries caused by the collar, I am upset about how these people treated my dog and continue to deny accountability. The IRS and the city of Modesto will hopefully prevent them from harming others. PS- they have a lawyer with a questionable background and it's funny that they call me the bully when they are the ones that sent me a cease and desist request. I had several reputable lawyers review their letter and tell me that it's all just baseless scare tactics. These are barbaric people.

I just wanted to give a "TWO-THUMBS UP" to Sit Means Sit Modesto & Sit Means Sit East Bay On several occasions now, I have witnessed the professionalism and outcome after seeing the work these two facilities provide. You are by far, the best, most knowledable and well loving, extended family of anyone who uses your services. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!
