VCA College Park - Ana Brook Animal Hospital Cypress, California

Hate the way they do prescriptions, had to wait about 4-5 days just to get them to respond to chewy.com to fulfill my prescription. All they had to do was click “approved” and yet it took them days to get to it. Called in and receptionist was absolutely useless with problem solving. By the time they respond to chewy.com to authorize the prescription, a week has gone by. Ridiculous… and they try to upsell you upon your visit, so beware.

Awesome vet. They take great care of my two cats, both of whom are on the Care Club plan, and I will continue coming here in the future.

Dr. Grove was very sympathetic and kind, they whole staff very loving towards me and my Gabby when it was her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you. Ill recommend you.

Beware, if you get the Care Club and you need to see the doctor same day they’re never available. They refer you to another VCA but you don’t get to use your membership, so even though you wouldn’t pay for the visit with Care Club you wind up paying. It’s a scam to push the membership when they know they’re too busy to honor the benefits. I had another VCA location confirm they hear that a lot about College Park. They’re friendly and seem to be good to my dog, but I give one star because they pushed this membership that I pay for and I don’t get to fully use.

Love love love this vet!! They treat my animals like their own! Always making sure they are well taken care of and happy! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this VCA!

I really love this place my dog is a sweet dog but with strangers his anxiety pikes up and he becomes aggressive i always hated going to vets because how the workers treated my dog and how my dog would act But when i came here for his allergies the workers were so sweet even tho he had a muzzle on they were like “aww” and they treated him so gently and kindly they backed off and knew their distance. When it came time for his shots i got in my usual position where i have to hold my dog down but they looked at me like i was crazy and were like oh no we got this. Which had me surprised because vets would always have me hold him down. Afterwards they recommended anxiety medication and gave me pamphlets about fear aggression and i appreciate them so much. Its really the best place to bring your pets especially if they're aggressive they don’t treat them like monsters. I just remember afterwards crying because people don't understand how much it means to me to see my dog as oh he's aggressive because he's scared not thats a terrible dog.

Nurses and Drs at VCA were so nice and attentive! Helped Angel be comfortable and get through it with no problem! Even gave us a Goodie bag for being a new patient ????

I really appreciate how Dr. Grove sits down and gets to know your pet. You’d be hard pressed to find a more compassionate and kind vet. The front staff and vets communicate their concerns very well. They have been there to recommend emergency care to us for weekend emergencies as well. We love our vet!

This place was okay although I now have another place I go to and love. I received a response regarding the first sentence above as to if I have any concerns even though it has been 10 yrs that I went there to please contact them so they could gain my confidence again. My apologies. It does seem like I made it seem I went there (recently) but dumped them. I don't have any issues with them. I took a lot of my most beloved cats there and never felt they held back in proper care. In my haste I did mention I go elsewhere now like I wasn't happy with VCA, but actually it is only because VCA -Ana Brook is a bit expensive so that is why I stopped going years ago. Would I recommend this place - YES. I never felt that I did not get the best care for my pets who own my heart. I guess if it has been over 5 years I should not rate. So as far as care for pets when I was going there, yes they get a 5 star.

The staff and Veterinarian are very friendly and professional . Fortunately, it is realitiv easy to get appointments, the same day or the next day usually. They are very helpful with faxing and emailing your pets medical records, vaccination records and other records to boarding facilities or pet day care centers. I like the fact that they send out reminder cards when your pet is due for any vaccines or treatments. Of course vet bills can get very expensive. They have forms for pet insurance policies available. However, , after reviewing the policy brochures, it appears that most things that my dog might needs are not covered by the policy. Henceforth, I will just pay as I go. Premiums are $40-$60 per month depending upon the age of your pet or type of policy. That’s as much as my own monthly medical premiums. Gaynell

Scary going to new vet but let me tell you the staff andand doctors here are awesome they spend the time and they really care about your concerns and animals well being

I brought 15 lbs doggy. they are friendly. test room, it doesn't look clean. their monitor in the room look all dusty. nurse was asking too many question before see doctor. after that doctor came in see my doggy very short. and brought $1105 for scaling + $1068.26 for exam his eye and ear and blood test. (No X-ray or CT or Ultrasound) that was my first visit there, so i just did exam only and didn't do the scaling.

Dr Grove and assistant great.took 10 minutes to trim my cats nails and give her scheduled shot.

They are really concerned about every pet they have. I had found a lost dog and we called him Nemo initially (based on the movie, Finding Nemo) ???? and they helped and encouraged me to find his owner. Two weeks later, unfortunately, he didn't see his real owner. ???? But he officially became ours. And now, VCA College Park genuinely takes care of him and makes sure Nemo is okay. All the staff are good and nice! He looks a better and a healthier dog now. God bless everyone.
