Cheapest option to euthanize a cat is just under $500. This fee included the vet trying to shame me into continuing very expensive treatments for a very sick cat we had already spent thousands of dollars on, but had to give up on. I had called ahead to confirm they would perform the procedure. They made an already difficult decision much worse, and made me feel horrible in a moment when I really just wanted to say goodbye to my cat. The $500 fee included $80 for the vet shaming session, a cost I would have disputed, except I was too upset and just wanted to get out of there. But I assume they did euthanize my cat, so they get two stars.

I went to get shots for my puppy and stated as such in the phone and when handing my pup to the tech to take back in (pandemic procedures means they have a drive in, curbside service going on at the time) I proceeded to get a call from the clinic doctor telling me about my dog's heart, growth, etc and mentioned a fecal sample ( which I did not request, although in fairness i should've been more assertive in asking that I did not need it, i just kinda went with it, but that's besides the point, lol) In any case, the bill comes out significantly higher due to the Vet appointment/consultation and fecal test, whose results i still haven't received ????????‍♀️ . If you go here, make sure you are explicit in what you want because it seems communication here kinda sucks for whatever reason. Can't complain about the service though, the staff here is nice and the vet care is seemingly good.

I have taken my cat here twice, and had a great experience. They are informative, very friendly and they also answer their phones - which is a huge plus. It takes the stress out of scheduling appointments. I'm glad to have them as our veterinarians!

Recently had to put down my cat and the whole experience felt v cold and rushed and honestly traumatic Had one nurse who was amazing and comforting, can't remember his name, but everyone else seemed to be inconvenienced by me and my partner so much as just being there and I can never get a do-over for saying goodbye to my best friend so it was rly rough

This pandemic has certainly taken a toll on everyone and it is apparent to me that there are certain people who are consistently and constantly positive, smiling and of service. I feel compelled to write about William at Culver City Animal Hospital. He is and has been the main reason I have continued to bring my cat here. Throughout the years, he has always been the epitome of professionalism, kindness, gentleness, and dependability. I ask for him specifically every time and he has always greeted me and my cat with a welcoming smile,(although, it's in the eyes and tone of voice now). I know that Culver is now on it's third vet in recent years, and I continue as a customer because of him. I certainly hope that each vet has been aware and honors his ongoing commitment, even through turnovers in vets. We feel blessed he has stayed and they and all of our beloved animals are incredibly lucky to have someone like him there. FYI: I don't know it says I'm in San Francisco.... I live down the street.

Dr. H and Vince are so great. I always feel like my baby is in the best hands. My nervous and shy pomeranian actually lets them pick her up and they keep me, her even more attached and nervous mommy apprised of what's going on the whole time. They truly care and that helps to put my mind at ease.

Friendly and attentive experience. Hand off in the parking lot now due to COVID. Since you wait in the lot, be mindful that 1 side of the car will be in direct sunlight because the surrounding buildings provide no shade.

Took my pet here last week, cost an arm and a leg and still haven’t heard back with any result. I have left several messages. I haven’t even seen or spoken to the doctor myself. Staff took my pet to the back and brought back a bill and said to call next day for result it’s been over a week.

As much as we wanted to love it here because its right in our back yard, we were disappointed with their responsiveness, consistency, and depth in the information we were receiving. Her vaccination process was a total mess from start to finish. As new dog parents, that's extra unsettling and frustrating. Very nice people, but we will be taking our pup elsewhere moving forward.

This hospital is amazing. Kind, caring and totally attentive to both my animals and to me. What more could anyone ask for.

First, I just want to say that my pet needed to see a veterinarian. I called 4 places, including my main vet clinic and they were all booked solid and put me on a waiting list. Even after I explained that she wasn't eating and was throwing up what little I could get down her. I didn't want to take her to an ER Vet. This was the only place to say, we are busy today, but we will squeeze you in as it sounds like its an emergency. So for that, I thank this clinic from the bottom of my heart, you helped my baby when it seemed no one else would. Second, the customer service here is great. They explained my bill to me, what each item was for and asked my permission before doing anything, which I appreciate because some of these procedures are not cheap. One of the receptionists, a male, I am horrible at names, but he said the blood work process would take about 20 min and he directed me to a Starbucks. He is FANTASTIC and I think he could tell I was getting frazzled and was worried. Third, the female veterinarian that saw my pet, again horrible at names, I felt was very knowledgeable and I felt that she genuinely cared about my pet. Fourth, the prices are very reasonable and comparable and are not exorbitant. Again I cannot thank this vet clinic enough.

This place has really taken a hit since Dr.Ohm left. He would tell you exactly what was needed and do whatever he could to keep costs reasonable. This new doctor is out for your pockets, wouldn’t recommend this place any more!

Losing Dr. Dean is the worst thing this place can do. He is kind, gentle and amazing with both your pets and you. We sadly will no longer be using CCAH.

Outstanding care, period. Dr Gebroe is not only an amazing vet, he is also a very decent person : helpful, knowledgeable, competent and real. He sure knows how to deal with an emergency. He truly cares. Best Vet my 10 year old cat ever had. Thanks doc!

Dr. Gebroe is a bucket of awesome! The cost is average when compared to veterinary care in Los Angeles but Dr. Gebroe is a totally rad dude. I'd pay more for his level of care. He loves animals and what he does for a living. So happy with his service!

Yes one of the receptionists is very old(enter sterotypes here), but there is a new one now as well who is more with it. Yes there is a mean vet there too who I have never delt with but have heard others say he is not nice. BUT Dr. Kidwell is the best vet I have ever met! He reminds me of an old, country doctor who has a passion for his work and LOVES animals. He saw my tiny kitten twice without charging me. He gave me great advice and FREE cat food for kittens. I am not a charity case on any level and expected to pay but he waved the charges since he just looked her over. It's a clean and calm there and there is no extra charges of some of those chain vets seem to add on.
