Newport Harbor Animal Hospital has again provided wonderful, professional care to my pup Cindi. Very I'll when I brought her in. She is a senior pup and required immediate intensive care. Dr. Bates and Dr Wade provided such complete and appropriate care. Cindi is now home and doing much better.Thank you so much for all kindness. Thanks also to the Front Office staff and Back Office Techs for their wonderful care. Highly recommend Newport Harbor Animal hospital for all pet needs.

Rude and inconsiderate reception with no regard for the time and effort I put in to be there with my wife for emotional support. Due to Covid and understandably so, their office policy is that only one owner can accompany their pet and no one can stay in the lobby. Not knowing that ahead of time, I was rudely asked to leave and had to sit in the car for over one hour and wait. You could ask nicely! I don't recommend this vet for treatment of the owner and whether they helped my dog, that still remains to be seen.

Great experience here. My dog was going to give birth, and needed a C-section. The doctor correctly chose the right time, and mother and puppy are doing great.

Everyone who works with the Doctors is very professional and kind. The doctor and staff spent extra time with Shania to get the tests completed when she did not make it easy for them. Thank you and much appreciated.

I was given this Vet number by a friend. For a first time visit, I left there with a piece of mind for Sadie as to they knew what they were doing. The Doctor and the Nurse loved on her to make her more comfortable and it made my day. I have a new Vet!

We have been coming to NHAH ever since Comet was a puppy. She is a healthy eight year old now. The staff and Dr. Ashbran give Comet the best of care and patiently explain everything to me. I am so grateful for that information since I need to understand what Comet needs and why. They have and are handling the COVID issues to be able to give our pets what they need. Many thanks to all of you at the hospital for your dedicated work.

Very disrespectful female vet and extremely high rates compared to other vets in the general area. Lacked understanding and compassion. Lack professionalism. Very dissatisfied. Never going back.

Best veterinarian ever. Dr. Ashbran has consistently over the years displayed a strong, genuine concern for my dog's welfare. And, when my very good dog friend encountered some serious life-threatening problems, Dr. Ashbran made himself available to help Max and me get through them (at least for the time being). It's a problem that can't be fixed, but Kevin has helped us stabilize and manage it as well as can be expected (which has been pretty darn good). Like I said, with genuine concern ... and skill. THANK YOU DR. ASHBRAN! Max and I (and the rest of the family) are enjoying each day, week and month together.

I came to Newport Harbor for a second opinion about a tumor on my dog's toe. Everything the doctor said made a lot of sense to me. Our doctor really took time to explain why she was recommending surgery, and even called me after I got the quote to see if I had any questions. Dr Wade was super kind and gentle with my 13 yo standard poodle, and we really felt we were in good hands. Quick Followup 8/10 A secondary issue Dr Wade addressed was my dog's weight loss. She said "you need to find a food she will eat" and "Just Food usually works." I got some Just Food for Dogs yesterday and I have a different dog today. Totally happy and full of life again.

The two gentlemen who took care of my dog Rocket were very thorough, caring and efficient. They covered all the bases concerning my pets welfare and were amazingly good at reducing his anxiety about the whole procedure. (My dog was very nervous!)

The staff are compassionate and professional. Dr. Wind explains things thoroughly. They respond to emailed questions promptly. I believe my kitty receives excellent care here!

Very thorough, the doctors and staff treat us with respect. We see them for all our animals, and all conditions. I was especially pleased by Dr. Sebzda and our science-driven consult for an ovary-sparing-spay vs. traditional spay. She was kind, professional, and non-judgmental. We discussed breed-specific concerns as well as my plans for the dog as an individual. Wonderful place!

Been coming here for years and I’m always greeted with the greatest service. Didn’t have a phone (covid protocol asks you to call) and Casey came out and assisted me, was picking up some medication, She was incredibly helpful and kind, patient with a lot of my questions. I have been taking my pets to NHAH for close to 20 years. The doctors & staff are absolutely amazing. They are so friendly, compassionate, & honest. I would give them more stars if I could. I highly recommend them! ????????????????

Although I have only been to NHAH twice, I was very impressed by the doctors I saw as well as the technicians. They were all so nice and seemed to care a great deal about little Phoebe.

I had been going to Huntington Beach Pet vet for years until I found Newport Harbor Animal Hospital. I love the way NHAH works and how they actually care about the animals rather than just a $$$ sign. They perform everything they’re able to right in front of you rather than taking your pet to the back where you can’t actually see them administering a shot or what not. Such kind Doctors at NHAH! I also found it very thoughtful that after having to put a foster cat Simba down , a few days later I received a hand written card from the doctor. It’s like how many vets actually do that??? I thought that was very kind of them to take the time to do that. Thanks Dr. Bates!!

My 12 year old Rot/Chow mix loves Dr Sebzda! She's very thorough, knowledgeable and patient. Exactly what I look for in a veterinarian! I would highly recommend.

In my opinion. This is not a good a place

We’ve been patients if NHAH for 25 years. They are truly the best! They treat our fur-kids as if they were their own and leave no stones unturned in a crisis situation. I wouldn’t even think of taking my pets anywhere else. ????????

You know its a good Vet when the Dogs pull the leash to go INTO the Vet. Found out about them during my time doing Foster Pet Sitting for So Cal Golden Retrievers Association ... and now that I have my own puppy I swear by them and would not go anywhere else. They are so compassionate in the way they care for the animals. Love Them!

On a Saturday our yorkie became ill. A neighbor recommended Newport harbor Animal Hospital. Yes, an appointment was available! They even are open on Sunday's, unheard-of! The staff and wonderful veterinarian's are the best! The office is spotless. Due to Covid, from your car you call to check in. A tech will come to your car to get your pet. Your veterinarian will call before and after the visit to explain findings and recommendations. Please give them a call, I'm sure that you will be pleased.

Since getting our dog a few years ago we have tried a few vets from referrals. Vets were good but the front office was lacking. Newport Harbor is a breath of fresh air! Professional and nice! So glad I decided to make the switch instead of constant frustration at the other vets.

My new puppy and I had a great new patient visit with Dr. Wade. She was thorough and kind and patiently answered all of my many questions. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of her answers.

These vets are the only ones I trust, and will trust, with my fur babies!! They are honest and compassionate. They have every service your pet will need, on location. We have pugs and not every vet is familiar with the idiosyncrasies with this breed. Dr Wade and Dr Sebzda are the very best!!! My husband felt they were a little too expensive so he tried every vet in Huntington Beach (I think), where we live. He now agrees that no matter what, the care our babies get here is far superior to anywhere else and he won’t trust anyone else with his little babies!!!

Got fed up with their '"can I put you on a quick hold?" thing. Only once in 14 years I went somewhere else because I felt like their cash cow. I do not recommend and I will never bring Barbo to that place ever again!

This has to be one of the best places I've taken my dogs for their check ups or even emergencies , they're so quick on communicating with you ,always friendly staff, love it

We have brought our fosters here as they often have a lot of medical care and the team here is so wonderful. Especially with the new covid protocols, they are amazing to work with. When putting down our cat, the doctor explained what we would happen so we were ready to comfort her and say goodbye.

My girl was in real trouble with a whelp. I took her to an ER clinic but did not trust them to get to her right away. I took her NOAH first thing in the am and they got her into surgery for a C section immediately and were able to save her and the litter. I knew about them from a friend who had a complicated issue with her dogs teeth and would absolutely refer anyone to this Vet Hospital.

We were new to Orange County and needed to board our dachshund (always nerve-racking), but were really impressed with the reviews, facilities, and staff. It was 100% the right decision and we, dog included, love it there. Since our first visit in boarding, we have been back to NHAH several times (maintenance exam, vaccines, annual dental cleaning, and a concern about back pain) and I continue to be impressed with the doctors, technicians, and receptionists. We receive answers to all of our questions and it is clear that our pet's health matters to them as much as it matters to us.
