Please pay attention to the reviews. Doctor misdiagnosed my pet and receptionist was rude. Called the following day to give them feedback and spoke to Dora which was kind at the beginning until she found out i wanted a refund. Called me …

One week ago today, our dog died in the care of this hospital. Our dog was transferred to Corona Animal Emergency Hospital by our veterinarian. Our vet called them to let them know we were on our way, and that our dog was critical. We brought copies of lab work, and a CD of x-rays. They did come out to our car within 10 minutes, and took our dog inside. We assumed they would start treatment immediately, as our vet had called ahead with all the information. Three hours later, they tell me our dog had passed away. A tech came out frantically telling us he was “crashing”. Three hours with no treatment at all!! The tech came out again and said he had passed. This was a healthy dog that morning with no health conditions prior to this. My husband spoke with a different vet after our dog died, who acknowledged there was a shift change and he did not receive the several messages we asked be relayed to a vet. This place seriously needs to review their protocols and practices. They had the audacity of charging me for an office visit. I would NOT ever take my pet there!!!

Do not bring trust this place with your animal. They almost killed my 3lb, 3 month old puppy. She swallowed an earring & I brought her here immediately. They said they would treat her. 5 hours later they started to treat her They induced vomiting, put a scoped down her throat but because they waited so long the earring went into her intestines. They were going to leave her until morning & I could pick her up for treatment. She ended up with emergency surgery at a great vet hospital. Then they proceeded to charge me $2000 for their incompetence!! Stay away.

After calling about 5 emergency clinics which were all at max capacity this place was the only one willing to see my dog. They too had emergencies but didn’t turn any animals away. The wait is long but this is an emergency clinic so it’s understandable. The staff are super friendly, caring, and listen to all your concerns. Thankfully, my dog’s injury was not as severe as we thought and maybe could have waited to see a vet with an appointment. Either way the vet and staff here were very nice and did not make us feel bad at all. The vet himself was very patient and reassuring. The exam itself is $95 which isn’t bad compared to many other places than often charge $200+. 10/10 recommend if you ever experience an emergency with your pet.

My first time here, staff was friendly and helpful even though they were busy. The COVID restrictions were a bit strict, but other than that it was a great experience. Office visit and initial check is $95 dollars any other service (shots or tests) is additional plus any meds needed. An estimate is given before any other service or procedure is done and you need to sign that you agree to the additional services pretty standard.

I wish I could leave them ZERO stars. My dog died in their clinic. I paid for a clay paw print so my kids could have something to remember her by. This clinic gave me the run around for 6 months just for them to tell me they never ordered it. So now my kids have have nothing. Thanks a lot!!! Oh and anytime you take your pet here expect the bill to be 500-600 just to walk in the door. Complete nightmare of an experience.

Horrible experience with Dr. Beshai, technician Jake and receptionist Tiffany. I drove 30 min to get there around 12am for my bleeding dog, and met with condescending and dishonesty Dr, Beshai. They sent me home assured me my dog was okay. Later at 4am, my dog was still bleeding. I called to question why? That must have struck a nerve as the Dr Beshai told me over the phone to get my refund and never return...He also hung up on me when I asked for his name. I will definitely never return, but where is my refund as promised? They also changed the medical record and completely shifted the blame. Dishonest practice.

Thank you thank you to Dr.Code and the rest of the team there! They were able to squeeze my dog niece In when we came home and she wasn’t walking. Was in and out fast and the team made us feel very calm when taking her back for treatment. She was able to give a fast diagnosis and great treatment and my baby girl is up and back to her normal self. All this while not breaking the bank. You guys rock thank you again!

Highly Recommend! I have called here a few times when I had questions about something going on with my puppy. Each time the receptionist was very patient, kind and informative regardless the numerous phone calls she probably receives asking about information about their fur baby. Then one night I had to take one of my puppies in due to vomiting and diarrhea. From the start everyone was completely professional and informative. Plus kind even when they were busy! The hospital is gorgeous and extreme clean! Our baby was seen by Dr. Beshai and we could not be more confident in his care. As I waited in the waiting room that night I watched the same superior care with each client and patient. This emergency animal hospital truly cares about the fur babies!

Had a lovely time here when I took my beloved old man dachshund to get checked out. The staff is incredibly friendly and it was more than worth the wait for the quality of service we received. Smokey gave the location two paws up!

We drove 25 minutes to get there only to be told they were completely full and referred out to another emergency center 20 miles away. They open at 6:00, we were there at 6:20 and there was no one in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room.

Have been there twice and was pleased with the outcome both times. Its first come, first served so be prepared to wait. For life threatening emergencies I’d recommend VCA, but this place was great for my doggos ‘urgent care’ issues.

I took my baby cat for the first time there. I knew there was something wrong with him but the doctor discharged him after 25 minutes of checking him and told me he was fine, then he gave me medicine for worms in case my cat had. 4 days later my cat gets worse!! I took him again here, he was breathing heavily, didn't eat or drink and could barely move. When I arrive there 10 minutes before they opened my baby cat died, I got him cremated and they told me that he had breathing problems for the first time!! If they had told me before that there was something wrong with him I would have taken him anywhere to get him treated! I wish I could give zero stars.

Bear with me because this will be a long detailed review. Five stars are simply not enough. My dog came down with parvo despite being fully vaccinated. She started experiencing nausea, vomiting, and watery diarrhea. We live in Huntington Beach so we took her to VCA Fountain Valley. At VCA, they said she has a fever of 104 and we don't know why. They did unnecessary tests; ultrasound and a chest x-ray put her on fluids and antibiotics for 3 days, then recommended discharge and see how she does at home. At home, my dog remained nauseous, continued to vomit, and have watery diarrhea with excessive drooling. I took her to Corona Animal Emergency Center. At first sight, Dr. Omar El-Talawi asked me if she was vaccinated, I said yes, he said we should still test for parvo. 10 mins later the test returned a strong positive. He recommended hospitalization. They placed her in quarantine and has a camera on her for constant observation. She stayed there for 4 days on antiemetics, antibiotics, IV fluids, and syringe feeding. At the end of day 4, he recommended she continue care at home as she tested negative and started to improve. My 8-month old puppy has now made a full recovery and returned to her normal self. I will NEVER TAKE MY DOG ANYWHERE ELSE! I am forever grateful to Dr. El-Talawi and his friendly staff for taking care of my dog.

Every single person was nice until the end. The receptionist was awesome , the doctor kept us informed while we were there . We got to the vet around 7. Our female fixed puppy , was seemingly perfectly healthy. She was at the dog park running and playing , and then we quickly noticed blood in her pee, and ran straight to the emergency vet. We were ok with the wait, we were thankful that our dog wasn’t in critical condition, and were 100% understanding that they were going to take dogs with more serve cases than our puppy. We ended up staying until 2... so it was about 7 hours we spent at the vet. We did not mind , until we were disrespected by the man who gave us her diagnosis. We spent over 500$ for them to run tests to see it was just a UTI, and give us meds. This also wasn’t an issue, we understood the costs involved. The issue was when we received her diagnosis from a younger man, he shamed us, and told us it was our fault that we were in the emergency vet. Our dog has recieved all of her vaccines and been fixed, so within her short 10 months of life she’s been seen by a vet numerous times. However that being said, we have no had a reason to take her for a check in at a day vet quiet yet. The vet told us that if we regularly saw a day vet we wouldn’t be at the emergency vet , and lectured us on how being a dog parent is a lot of responsibility. We take amazing care of our dog, and he acted as though we were unfit parents because our dog got a uti and had to go to the emergency vet. We could have easily waited to go to a day vet in the morning , but we were concerned pet parents and rushed her to be seen right away. Our dog has been seen by a day vet countless times for her vaccines, and when she was being fixed. I would say at least 6-7 times. Obviously we will take her for normal check ups. Anyways I came home and was so upset. There was no thank you for waiting 7 hours from him, just a lecture on why we were bad dog parents (which I’m sorry, but the second we saw anything was wrong we took her straight to the vet & we literally treat our dog as if she is our child) . End of the story, everyone was super nice except this guy, so just a prewarning- if your dog has anything wrong with them, he might blame you, which isn’t fun at 2 AM. UPDATE- someone from the vet called me and was very sorry, she was going to have a talk with the man who was rude . Overall the vet was great , other than that issue ! Would still recommend!

Just called to ask about bringing my cat in. Mind you my cat is not eating, drinking or using the litter box. He tries to meow but nothing comes out. He’s also keeping himself distant from the family hiding in different locations in the house. I was told by the gal on the phone that because they are short staffed they are only seeing life threatening cases. It might just be the love for my cat but I feel this is pretty serious. I will drive the extra distance to have my Chase seen by someone who has a little more care in their hearts for animals. I will also not be recommending this facility to any of my family, friends or neighbors.

My 6 month maltipoo ate a pill that was not meant for her and they were quick to take care of her and were monitoring her at all time due to that she was really bad when she got there.

Thank GOD for this pet emergency center. I was frantic when my furbaby swallowed whole a dental bone. I wasn’t in the room when she did this and she started having issues breathing and I could not get it to come out as it was near her esophagus. I drove to the center and was greeted by their staff immediately and she was taken care of and they saved her life. I am so thankful for the staff and doctor that performed a procedure to save her life. What a blessing.

I had my dog to my regular vet 2 days in a row. She was still having breathing problems. Our pets are family. My vet said," something else is going on. You need to take to emergency vet." The person I called was very kind and helpful. She said to bring her in. I was very upset. I thought my dog was dying. She took my dog in and then said," vet wants to speak to you." I went to room, vet came in and proceeded to YELL at me. "Nothing wrong with my dog. My dog didn't belong there. I was wasting his time. My vet told me to take to heart doctor. I cannot do anything with out copy of blood work or X-rays. You have them, they sent to you. He's not putting down a healthy dog." Take your dog and go home. 1. I didn't want my dog put down. 2. My vet did not tell me to take to cardiologists. ( she ask to send x-rays to cardiologist) 3. I never received copy of blood work or X-rays from my vet, until I phoned while I was at emergency. This man was blocking the door while yelling at me. I was by myself, in the room, without my dog, and I'm a senior citizen. I would never take a pet there. I would not recommend a woman go there alone. It has been a week and I'm still having nightmares. There was other shocking things he said, but I thought I'd put the most relevant.

Unfortunately I had to put down my dog. I asked to get her paw engraved and I paid. It’s been 3 weeks and I called and they said that they must of not put the sticker on the paperwork to get it done! This is so wrong because there is no way of getting it anymore now that she’s gone! My lil brother is devastated! They need to be more aware of what they are doing! So disappointed at this place! And on top of that the doctor only want your money so after my experience I wouldn’t take my animals there!
