A Family Pet Hospital Clovis, California

I just wanted to thank the staff and Dr. Singh for being honest with me and giving me the options available to me and our 14 year old, standard schnauzer, Mr. Snoops. We drove 2 1/2 hours to get there, because the majority of the vets in Bakersfield are not accepting new patients or they are 1 1/2 months out for an appointment. They gave us a same day appointment. They were kind and gentle with my baby. We had a mobile vet who would not tell me what was wrong with Mr. Snoops’ right thigh, which was getting larger every day and started getting hard. I kept asking if it was cancer and was told no, he has the blood work of a pup. Dr. Singh unfortunately confirmed my suspicions. But, now I can give Mr. Snoops extra love and attention and make him feel comfortable in what I now know are his last days. That is completely heart breaking for me, but now I know for sure. I plan on spoiling him even more than he already is. Thank You for you expertise, truth, kindness, understanding and fair price. ????♥️

The doctor is kind of rude. The vet tech ladies were nice though.

This vet left the impression that he is only in it for the money and does not even like animals. If you even question the treatment he recommends you get a dirty look. Avoid going to this place if you love your pets.

Only downside to our appointment was havingng to wait an hour to be seen after appointment time.

My dog that doesn't like anyone liked it there. That is saying a lot. They were very patient and kind.

I took my dog in for vaccines and had a decent experience the FIRST time. However, i called today because my dog has not been eating & said they couldn’t take him in just in case he’s sick. Why even call this place a vet if you can’t help animals? Makes no sense. Switching vets unfortunately, don’t waste your time here. The lady on the phone was extremely rude on top of it.

Friendly staff they care for your family pet. Didn’t have to wait long at all.

I've been going to Family Pet Hospital for over 10 years and have always had the best care for all of my animals. I'm able to be seen as soon as is necessary and the fees are very reasonable. Dr Singh has been wonderful to my animals and to my family.

I have taken my dog here for quite a few years, I have always had great experiences here. I appreciate their hours of operation, the staff is kind, the doctor is honest and the pricing is fairly reasonable.

In an emergency and your regular vet is unavailable, this the best. Fast, courteous and efficient. So thankful they were available.

There was a week's worth of wait for my fur baby's regular doctor, they suggested this place. Called and next day, I was in. They helped my kid out, plus told me other things my kid had that his normal doctor didn't! Thank you!

Great service, I was able to get in within an hour. Everyone is very helpful and took great care of my little guy. He is getting better everyday

A little pricie but a good vet

I have been coming to this clinic for years and have never been disappointed with their care of my animals. The Doctors are all compassionate and address all diagnosis / costs in a reasonable manner. Dr. Singh is my favorite, but Dr. Gill is also amazing. I highly recommend this practice.

They got my 7 month kitten in right away. They explained everything to me and gave me a price before they did anything. We are very thankful to the vets & staff that made our kitten Twitch better !!!

I’ll repeat what’s already been said numerous time before. Clean facility, quick and prompt, easy to communicate with, didn’t charge me an arm and a leg, and superb customer service. Shout out to Raquel. Raquel worked with me and my busy schedule to reserve an appointment for my dog even through unexpected events that arose. I highly recommend Family Pet Hospital.

I’ve been going to Family Pet Hospital since they opened and can’t say enough about them. They are always responsive, accommodating, and are very affordable. Between my own animals and those I’ve brought in from our rescue I’ve had every issue from broken bones, to parvo, to old age issues, they’ve always provided the best care at a reasonable rate. Super grateful for Dr. Singh and they team.

My dog needed care and was brought in 10/7 and 10/8 for x-rays. First, terrible customer service. I called yesterday asking what exactly was happening to my dog, my partner had taken him in because I was at work, the receptionist puts me on hold and then comes back with a bad attitude practically yelling at me through the phone. Thanks for the compassion, Karen. Second, they’re obviously just trying to make as much money as they can off clients. They told my partner they’d call him when our dog was ready, and never did on either day. He had to call them both of the days, after having our dog for hours. But, of course, they were QUICK to inform him that if we didn’t pick our pet up before 5:30 there would be an extra charge. I’m going to ask for my dogs records to be sent via email and will not be returning.

I personally had a good experience with the personnel who work here. I drove down from Coarsegold and showed up to tour appointment that I make earlier that morning and my pup was seen right away.

I love how the staff went out of their way to help me administer the medication to all 3 of my dogs and my cat. Majority of the staff are very very friendly.!!

I had never been to this hospital but I feel so lucky I found it. My cat had taken sick very quickly and it was late in the day. I called at 5pm and even though they had no openings, they allowed me to come in and be seen. the staff were so kind and patient with me because I was a mess with worries about my savannah. They treated her so kind and gave her medications to lower her fever. I feel the staff went beyond being nice to me and savannah who after two days, is doing much better. I will definitely be returning for any needs I have in the future.

We called ahead for a suture removal and they were fine doing it even thou the surgery was done at different hospital. They did it really fast and the assistant was really nice and helpful. They charged me $25 which I think is fair.

Clean happy place and good customer service. Doctors available to answer and explain procedures. Lu my fir baby was in good hands...????????????

Always a cared for experience

They are very caring! They gave us time to make decisions and let us know how much everything was beforehand.

Friendly staff, always quick to fit in our pets when needed for appointments, and reasonably priced.

We took our Am. Bulldog to Family Pet for a second opinion after going to Cedar Vet (Family Pet is so much better, let me tell you!) This vet gave a completely different diagnosis and treatment/therapy plan of action. Also, a perk of being a new patient-they get you in on the same day! Didn’t try to push any unnecessary fees or add-ons. Will be coming here from now on! Thanks so much!
