Petco Chula Vista, California

Website need changes. It says walk in for nail trim and when we got there they said that by appointment only. Which one is correct? A waste of time.

My boyfriend and I went in on 03/06/2021 with a malnourished and sickly Belgian Malinois puppy that we had just rescued. We were a tad lost trying to find the puppy food. I asked a very kind lady who took one look at our puppy and talked to me and recommended all sorts of products, all focused on helping our little girl gain the weight she so obviously needed. Another employee from the grooming department (I believe) also stopped to give us some advice. Both women had recommendations that were focused on our puppy's wellbeing. We managed to get our girl in to see a vet after our first vet didn't work out and she is already leaps and bounds better than she appeared to be just a few days ago, much in part to the products that the two women recommended. We had an excellent visit at this location and left with more hope than we entered the store with. Unfortunately I do not remember these two women's names but they deserve to be recognized in some way for their part in helping keep our puppy alive. If either of them read this, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to bringing little Pepper in when she's 100% and thanking you in person

Always amazing ???? service at this Petco. We take our Orion ???? here for grooming as well and I appreciate Diana's initiative to take care of Orion's skin needs when we forget to mention it.

Nice clean place in a good area. Brought my dog to pick out some toys and she loved it.

I love going to this place. Staff is super friendly, especially Krista, the dog trainer and Dino, the manager. We go here every weekend to have our dog training, grooming, and shopping needs. Their Pals Rewards is a great deal with purchasing all your pet needs. Thank you Petco staff!

Very bad don't go here I will post pic of what they did to my dog... wow... Take act so can't say much more thin this at this time... It's the grooming that butchered my animal people see him and ask me what happened the groomers tried to cover it up by saying he was an aggressive dog however he is a very small dog only nine pounds.

Petco Park is one of the best stadiums in the country. Great atmosphere, amazing food options and drinks!!

The place is a mess. Some aisles poorly stocked with items all over the place .... some of them without labels... hard to tell sizes or price. Poor signs around the store makes it difficult to find what you are looking for, on top of that.... expensive. The bright spot however, are the people working there .... they are professional and helpful.

Loved it for some reason they had A LOT more things than other petcos in every section. They had a bigger selection of dog food and even for our crested gecko we found a hanging hide there finally. They were also nice about online price matching several items it was like no biggie and i didn't get an attitude because it was going to take longer. I was pleasantly surprised!!! *They also had a coupon for a free bag of dog food when you purchased $30 of things.

Christian and Hector, have been very helpful with my purchases and redeeming my rewards. This store has exeptional customer services.

Store had everything I needed; staff were very friendly and helpful; store was very clean and inventory organized that I could find everything very quickly.

It's very hard to get a shopping cart, and very slow at checkout

I went in to collect my Padres K9 treats. I was greeted and treated with respect. Store was clean and the checkout line was moving well.

Pet grooming appt. Staff was terrific with my "trouble" puppy and her older brother.

Diana, the groomer who did a miracle for my toy poodle is amazing. My dog looked like he was comfortable with her. Highly recommend.

Leland was a great help... very p atient, accommodating, and helpful. Highly recommend this employee and his example of customer service.

I'm very happy with Petco with Dr Claus!!

The groomer wouldn't groom my dog because he was matted. I was going to spend the extra money too. She quickly suggested that I take my dog to a vet for grooming because he would need to be sedated. My other groomers never had an issue. I'd rather take my dog elsewhere than to have an inexperienced groomer touch him.
