Since I am always working, I needed a place that would give my baby’s (dogs) their shots and I explained this to Pacific Pet Hospital. They listen and accommodated my needs and found a quick appointment that same day. I am so impressed with how everything was done. I will come back for all my pets need more often here.

UPDATE - A special thanks to all the staff at Pacific Pet Hospital during the difficult time of euthanizing our 15 year old companion. We are new to the area and this dog had not been seen at the practice but they scheduled us in for the procedure. The vets, techs, and office staff were all compassionate. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Hands down, best vet appointment experience in my 40+ years with dogs. Brought my 2 year old in for an annual exam and greeted warmly by the front office staff and tech. Dr. Malik was awesome as she got down to my dogs level for the exam and made her feel very comfortable. My dog has a new issue and Dr. Malik listened carefully to my concerns and offered a couple of approaches to try as a treatment plan over the coming weeks. Also found the health report card to be a nice addition. Would highly recommend this group.

Sick puppy was seen extremely fast!! The staff was friendly and awesome! They knew my dog was sick and took every precaution to make sure my dog didn’t come into contact with other dogs in the waiting room. Knowing this is comforting in case the rolls are ever reversed! The only thing I think may have made the experience better for my dog was while doing test on him was having me present. I believe that doing test in a new strange environment is stressful for any dog and removing the only thing they are familiar with from the room just adds to higher stress levels. Otherwise I think that everything was great and it was as stress free for me and my dog as it could have been.

I have had experience with a lot of vets for a lot of animals and I have to say that Pacific Pet Hospital is the BEST. They have been caring and helpful answering all my questions and concerns. They were right there during emergencies when I needed them. The staff and Dr. H have all been VERY good with even my oldest and grumpyist cat. The clinic is spotless ( the first thing I notice in a Vet's office is what it smells like) and their fees are well within reason. If you need pet care this is the place to go.

Updating my review. I loved this vet for years but my time has come to an end here. Although we love our vet, everything else is just an unorganized mess…. The hours are extremely unaccommodating and every time I have called, the front desk did not know what they were talking about nor were they of any help. Its just pushed me to my limit to look for another vet. Dr. Humphrey is great but the rest of the team is not so great. It’s also difficult with a full time job to constantly get an appointment here because they close so early and never have any available appointments.

We have been bringing our dogs to be cared for at Pacific Pet Hospital for over 25 years (we started with Dr. Upton). We are always so happy with the service we receive and how well everyone cares for our dog, Trixie. At our last visit Jamie was our nurse and Dr. Malick examined her. We are also very happy with Dr. Humphrey's care. The entire office and veterinary staff makes you feel very comfortable and we can always tell how much everyone loves every animal they care for. I walked in to book an appointment and they were very kind and helpful answering ALL my questions patients. When my pet went in for his first visit, we were also received with the same courteous attitude. The prices are reasonable and there is no pressure to do everything all in one day. I have been taking my dog Koko to Pacific Pet Hospital since I rescued her. The staff is friendly and work great with Koko. The Dr. Was gentile with her and made her feel at ease from the first touch. I want the best for Koko and I'm very happy that I found this wonderful care for my fur baby. I recently relocated to the area and chose Pacific Pet Hospital because of proximity to my house and the reviews. I have 2 cats; both of them have one issue or another and one of the cats requires sedation just to be examined. I was nervous because it was important to me that their new doctor understood their medical histories and I know that the office is quite busy. Both Terry and Dr. Humphrey listened to my concerns without making me feel as if I was taking up too much of their time. Terry explained a lot about their practice and what was happening during their exams, and Dr. Humphrey spoke to me about each cat and answered all of my questions. I had a similar experience on my second visit to this practice. While waiting in the car (Covid precautions), I watched the staff deliver pets to their owners and it was evident that the staff have built relationships with other clients.

I was looking for a veterinarian ever since moving and happen to give this business a chance. I was pleased how freindly and kind they were while offering their services. Due to the Covid-19 rules they have, they take pets from your car at curbside, and talk to you over phone. I made an appointment on app and brought my cats for routine check ups with no worry. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend going here!

I've used them. for nearly 30 yrs and 3 dogs. That alone should tell how I feel about their Practice. I highly recommend.

I LOVE Terry the nurse, but honestly it feels the last couple times they have gotten too busy to give good service. i had to call 3 times to get lab results and then the fill in dr. said they would follow up. nothin. not impressed in the last year out of 9 years going.

After more than 10 years this facility . I had highly recommended Pacific Pet Hospital but not anymore. His vet that takes over didn’t give me much of a choice on helping my dog. I pretty much said goodbye seeing her still full of life and you would think I would deserve a call from her (Dr. Humphrey) after numerous messages to call me to answer my doubts so I could understand the decision was the best. I was just told numerous times he was too busy. Honestly I am heartbroken for my loss but more so because after so many years I though a call was the least I deserved ????

Great customer service! I made an exam appointment on the app (got 50% off!!) and was Seen within a week. All my questions were answered and fortunately my dog was fine☺️ definitely recommend!

This was a first time visit, and I had great service for my kitty who I rescued from the street. The vet examined her carefully, and suggested what her needs were, it was a very comfortable visit.

I just adopted a dog and brought her in for her first vet visit. I decided to come in after reading all of the positive reviews and they deserve every single one of them. I did not feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. They took the time to explain procedures and answer all of my questions, did not push services I was uncertain about, and everyone from reception to vet techs to the Vet Dr. Humphrey, were all extremely friendly, attentive and reassuring. Great customer service at a decent price. Vet services are much more expensive than what I was used to living abroad, but I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. I brought both my senior dogs here for annuals. My oldest ended up needing a tumor and some teeth removed. My final bill was broken down to where I understood what I was being charged. The Vet techs were very friendly and communicative, as was the doctor. I do have to wait in the parking lot (which can get busy) for a tech to pickup and drop off my pet, but the wait times don’t feel exorbitant. Will be making this place my primary vet care.

These guys do a great job every time I bring my dog in. Would recommend to anyone in San Diego.

This place is awesome. I have been going here for over 10 years to take care of one of our family member Rex the friendly chihuahua. The doctors here are very thorough and the staff are very friendly with awesome customer service. I highly recommend this Pet Hospital for all your pet needs.

This place takes avantage of people charged me 3,500 dollars for an over night stay. No woinder why people put pets down. Unaffordable????????????

I have been coming here over 25 years. They have taken excellent care of my pets from birth, puppy litters and death. Recently they even took care of my Guinea Pig. I have complete faith in the providers and staff here. Some may say its pricey, but the prices are relative to the problem, so we find it more than reasonable. I will never even consider another office. Jeff and Sue Swett
