Here is a good tip....If the Banfield Hospital that you normally use is totally booked then call another location. I called the Chino Hills Benfield Pet Hospital which is located inside of Petsmart. They ere wonderful, friendly and kept us informed ???? while our dog was there. Two ???????? up!!

Think twice before using Banfield's Chino Hills location. I reordered medication for my pet. They told me it needed approval from the doctor, and that they'd call me the same day to let me know if it was approved. I waited all day, no call. I waited for a telephone call the next morning, still no call. So, I decided to call them. They told me my order had been approved and was ready for pick-up. When I arrived at the pet hospital, they told me they ran out of the medication and I would have to come back again and pick it up. When I asked for something to make up for my time and inconvenience, they said they had no way of making up for wasting my time.Their customer service and support is rapidly changing. Banfield's policy is clearly take the money, complete the transaction and offer poor services.

Do NOT GET WELLNESS PLAN! Find another vet. SUCH A SCAM! I paid for wellness plan. I never leave the Banfield paying less than $100. My dog came in for an infection, now they are telling me to Spay my dog it would be a total of $700.00 or just antibiotics for the infection $63.00.

Have pet health insurance with them & its so worth it. I pay a fraction of the cost for services than I would without it. They're staff is very helpful & they were very caring & gentle with my dog. I highly recommend them.

This one star review is ONLY for the pink haired Asian girl at the reception at Banfield. She's been rude to me various times and also on the phone for my accent but here's an example, just to explain better: I already dropped my pet off but I had to ask if it was possible to pay my bill already. So this lady got off the phone, I walked closer to the counter and tried to ask my question politely and she just shut me off right away saying in a very, very exageratley angry manner: "Not yet". I wrote shut me off, because she didn't even allow me to speak. Waiting room is empty for a while, still no attention was given to me and my concerns. She then proceeds to help other customers, making various phone calls in the meanwhile. And I'm left waiting for 20 mins until another nice nurse came out to help me. I really hope this review can make Banfield people fire this "person" or at least provide her with a freaking reality check! Rude people shouldn't work with public! Other than this "person", Banfield has always been excellent to me and my pet.

Nothing but high marks for the whole staff, The wellness plan at this point for me has saved me a ton of money. I would like to say thank you to everyone at the Banfield Chino location, you've been nothing but kind even when I was being impatient, sincerely, Tony Grossi

Brought in my cat just after moving to the Pomona area not realizing this vet was inside petsmart. After having issues during drop, I was floored when they wanted to run 1000$ of tests after first meeting my kitty, in addition to forgetting to call me when he was ready... After a 5 hour wait I called and was told what exams they wanted to do, and when I declined they said he was ready. After speaking with the nurse they did not give me any information I did not already know and I was on my way with 50$ anti-biotics instead of thousands of dollars in vet bills.

I had an AWFUL experience with the Chino Hills Banfield location. I had made an appointment for my dog to get his usual allergy shot. I had called in the morning and asked if they convert the booking to be able to see the doctor and not just the tech because my dog was having more labored breathing like his nose was stuffed and I wanted to make sure it was just allergies. They suggested I take him to the ER? I explained again, it is not serious enough for that: my dog is walking around, eating, playing, wagging his tail going to the bathroom etc he just sounds like he had a plugged nose. At that time Abby said they could get him into a drop off appointment at 830. 30 minutes later Abby calls me back and said they won’t see my dog and I should take him to the pet ER. I asked why when I just said his only symptom is a stuffed nose and asked if that is what the vet is suggesting. She said no, the vet wasn’t in yet but they werent taking him because if he has labored breathing he should go to the ER. I explained again, he’s walking, eating, playing, drinking water I am just asking him to be check out of an abundance of caution because he’s a bulldog but I would just keep my original appointment for his allergy shot. She AGAIN said no. Very dismissive, rude, clearly do not care or fully listen to the concerns of pet owners. There is a reason this is one of the only Banfield’s in the area that always seems to have openings it’s because they are awful. I will say, I have spoken to one of the vets here and they were nice however their support staff is so awful it’s deterrent enough to not come back. I drove the Yorba Linda location instead and had a great experience with that team.

Just pay for your vaccines at the humane society. It's a rip off the $50+ a month is a waste they charge your for everything. I'd highly recommend getting regular pet insurance it has was better coverage and get reimbursed on anything major plus they have add on wellness plans.

Was able to make an appointment same day. The vets were so caring and sweet. Very helpful. We appreciated it.

Very Nice. Milo Had Gotten Bit By a Red Ant(I Think). He Was Limping And Crying. I Know That it Wasn't From Him Jumping. I Was So Happy That Banfield Was Open Early on Sunday Morning. We Are Going to Use Them Again. Great Place ????

This is a great place to take your fur babies, the vets and the tech are so sweet and kind, Love the way my Rocky road is treated every time he has to go in.

Awesome staff and very qualified doctors. Been with them since 2008. Their pet medical insurance is exceptional and well worth the monthly cost. Shelby is still working through her issue, Cornelius and Jack are doing well.

Super professional, my cat got surgery and she’s recovering super well love how caring and lovely staff is ♥️

I am so thankful to Banfield. With easy payment plans I don't have to worry about not being able to afford my pet's medical bills. Very friendly and caring staff.

These people are dishonest and try to pull on your heart strings to get as much money as possible. Very long story, but I kept refusing services and they made me feel so bad even though I said over and over again my dog doesn’t need that. I ended up giving in because they acted like my dog was going to die. After $1200, it turns out she just needed her annul glands decompressed. What kind of doctor doesn’t do a basic check of everything first by looking at the dog before the jump to xrays and bloodwork etc. Dr Christina Melanie is a complete scammer and con artist. Not a good Doctor at all and doesn’t know what she’s doing. Don’t take your dog here! They dint care about the animals they are money hungry scammers!!!

Hospital is the best they are not judgemental when you can not or want affordable options. Um the staff are respectful and proper which custumer service is everything to me. Um they just sweet and take really good care of my pups. Always helpful. Thank you! The petsmart is also nice crew very informative and helpful as well .thank you all too

All the doctors/nurses really care about your pet! I like Banfield Chino so much that I'm willing to drive 20 minutes to be seen here!
