The Pampered Pooch Chico, California

I took my dog here for the first time because her last groomer was booked. I called around and The Pampered Pooch had the earliest appointment. Staff is very friendly and I like that dogs are not caged before and after the grooming. Highly recommend this place!

They treated our dogs very well. My long hair doxie was very comfortable there. They cut him exactly what we asked for and he was so soft and clean. I definitely will be bringing Max and Toby back to them. The dogs really liked it there and that is all you can ask for. Thanks to all of them for caring for our babies.

I was able to get an appointment within two weeks. I liked the way they treated my fur baby. He was very happy when I picked him up. His haircut was nice and short which is what I asked for. I forgot to take his before photo but he was scraggly and I was embarrassed to take him for walks. Thank you Pampered Pooch! I will be back and I highly recommend your business.

They are sooo kind and professional! Our dog looks great. They don't have a sign over the store, so it's easy to miss. They kindly shared their knowledge for in-between appointment home-grooming.

My poor Oliver was a disaster I was so embarrassed to take him in he was so matted. They greeted me and took him and made me feel so comfortable. Oliver is very shy and withdrawn. We just took him into our home for a family member who was unable to care for him. But he went right with them and came out a fresh new pup he looked amazing. And was very happy. We will be going back.

Very professional, clean, and always finds time for my furbaby. Treats my pup like she's one of hers. I highly recommend this place, it's the Only place I'll take my Pumpkin to.

I am a local veterinarian in Chico with 2 large beautiful girls that can be a handful sometimes. I’m very close with them obviously and can tell when they have a good or bad time somewhere. When I picked them up they were in such good spirits. Jillian is the sweetest and did a fantastic job! My chow mix is not shedding anymore! Thank you Jillian. I think you do lovely work and I love how you minimize fear, anxiety and stress. My dogs came home in better moods than I’ve ever seen them after a grooming. Their nails were cut as short as possible without exposing vessels (they’re black, a lot of groomers stay toward the tips). They even smelled so nice my cat was following them around all day trying to put her face in their fur. Thank you so much J! I’ll be back for sure. I’ve already spread the word a bit;]

I just had my first experience here and I have to tell you they are so amazing! Not only are they incredibly sweet to my sweet little Coco but they actually diagnosed/suggested I get her checked for an issue and I took her to vet next day and she was in surgerythe next morning. Thank God she brought this to my attention as my vet said it was an emergency surgery. My dog came back well groomed and happy and her life was saved all for an amazing price. I can't say enough about how grateful I am that I found this place. Usually Coco is shaking pretty hard when I pick her up from groomers (she is only 9 lbs) but this time she was very content and I could tell she had been babied the whole time.

I took my giant Malamute Husky and a Siberian Husky to Pampered Pooch. Jillian was my point of contact and was super friendly to my dogs when we arrived. When I came back to take them home they were happy to see me but so comfortable and content at her salon they didn't care to leave which to me is a good sign because they were treated well. Jillian's pooch salon also has a ton of space for the dogs to roam or lay. She also spent a good amount of time with them ensuring they were comfortable and not pushing them to complete the job in X amount of time. Overall the quality and cleanliness of my dogs is a two thumbs up for me, I would put up too more if I had more hands. I am also recommending my friends and family here. The Pampered Pooch owner did a beautiful ???? job on my cat pancake ???? ❤ She gave her a * rafiki hair * cut & a wash,blow-dry and trim of her nails ???? she has great prices and does a beautiful job ???? …

So my dog isn't very fond of the vets and places like it but this had to be the absolute smoothest visit ever for buddy. All we did was a nail trim but it was the best experience myself and buddy have had in setting like this. AND it was a great price, great interaction and speedy process. Definitely will reccomend to my other animals peeps :D

Jillian receives 5 STARS from me! She treated our 12 year old Golden Harvey as if he was a member of her own family. Harvey had "The Full Grooming" and the result = SUPREME! When picked up...it was as if he experienced a wonderful Spa Day! Kudos Jillian!!! You are the BEST in Chico for pets by far!

Jillian did a great job on my little dog. I have tried numerous times to get my dog to cooperate while I groom her and she always comes out with one side longer than the other. Now all I do is call Jillian, drop my pup off for her spa treatment and when I come back I have a happy and nicely groomed dog.

Took my 3 year old Siberian Husky, Leo, to The Pampered Pooch today! Customers aren't allowed inside due to COVID, however, check in and check out is done at the door and is super easy! When I got there Jillian came out and greeted me, confirmed what I wanted done for the appointment, and took Leo from me. After an hour and about 15 minutes I got a call letting me know Leo was ready to be picked up! I get to the parking lot and Jillian meets me at the door with Leo, she even offers to walk Leo to my car to get him in since she most likely noticed that Leo is a very strong dog and drags me (haha!), but talk about great customer service! The last location I took Leo to get a grooming done didn't even put his leash back on and handed it to me instead to put on, while also having my dog running lose in the lobby, which isn't a big deal, but the other location was also on a very busy street, what if another customer was opening the door and my dog runs out into the intersection? That just didn't sit well with me, and the fact that Jillian put my dogs leash back on and even offered to walk him to my car to get in was so appreciative. It shows how well she does with customers and goes beyond of what is expected of her! After Leo was in the car we checked out via phone with my debit card. The transaction was fast and easy! Thank you again Jillian for the amazing customer service and making Leo look so beautiful! I appreciate the help with loading Leo into the car so much, we will definitely be back!
