Organized store with friendly staff

Had the dogfood my dog prefers but at a 25$ upcharge, it's normally 68$-70$ but I spent 96$ on it lol.

I'm sorry petco Is a super expensive store they don't even match chewy.com prices I would rather honestly go to petsmart they do match chewy.com prices and seem to have more variety of specialty dog foods for our poodles.

Great place to find everything for your pet. The only problem I have right now with shopping here is the wait for crickets.

Customer care was great my only problem is they packed the store tight and when a few people came in it was hard to shop since it was little small but liked the new location

Just got my dogs groomed such nice groomers and staff way more animals compared to the other Petco

There's a place in there to pick up crispy chicken It was out of this world. Tender inside juicy tenders highly recommend Great honey mustard and the biscuits are divine someone gave me a free one. I don't care for blueberry muffins with those for fabulous

I usually always have a pleasant experience with Petco but I went in today as per usual to grab things my animals and reptiles need and I noticed they had a ball python up for adoption for whatever reason I’m assuming needed help or is malnourished anyways I asked an associate about the ball python and she told me she wasn’t comfortable adopting it to me because I previously returned a tokay gecko the reason I did is because it kept trying to bite me and was flighty anyways I currently own various species of snakes and would love to help a ball python in need out I’m just sad this interaction happened and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Full service dog grooming, easy to schedule appointments online and Apryl was amazing, you can't tell her much she enjoys her job.

Petco has poor service and poor management. The manager was constantly complaining about the corporate office during a previous visit and on today's visit she was completely unable to manage her store and employees properly. I've never visited an establishment who refuses to sell a product to a customer due to their opinion of the matter. I got a refund, however, they did not allow me to shop and make other purchases. I felt rushed out of the store and bullied into not shopping. I have been a customer of Petco for several years but not anymore. I will take my business elsewhere. Businesses should want to keep and gain customers, not lose them. I will give my business to PetSmart for now on or order my pet products from Amazon. Do not frustate yourself, go elsewhere.

Place for pets to go

Awesome helpful and very professional staff. Sarah is the best. She went above & beyond any store experience I've ever had. Gave me so much additional help I needed after moving here to find a groomer I trusted with my dog and helping me to find Vet service for my dog. The store is very cool with all the different kinds of fish and other creatures they sell. It's fun to just look around. And you can bring your dogs around the store shopping with you on a leash. Super cool. Definitely recommend. Products can get a little costly, so just make sure to check different products and comparable prices.

WARNING: There was a female worker that was very rude and said she was going to try and trip my 3 year old mentally disabled son.

please dont purchase live animals from here. for one, almost all of them are kept in unsuitable, inhumane conditions as they wait to be adopted. staff isnt knowledgable enough to teach new owners about care and proper housing. on top of that, they sell a ton of inadequate care and housing products. petco and other pet stores like it should not be allowed to sell live animals and treat them like merchandise. its animal abuse and nobody wins.

They had what I was looking for and they were friendly and helpful. It was my first experience in the new location. I was impressed!

Everyone is so friendly at this Danville store. Only location where I can find and purchase, Just for dogs food.

So I had to come in and edit my review, because I literally just walked out of the store. If I could give 0 stars I would I had 2 employees continually look at me knowing I needed help and continually just walked away from me. After 32 minutes of trying to get help in this store I put my products back and walked out! I have never been more appalled with a store than I am right now. And I know how it is to work in retail and customer service and management and there's no excuse for the way that this store was ran when I came in period I will never return to the store again and I'm usually in here 2 times a week every week

Scheduled my dog for a grooming appointment 3 weeks ahead of time. Came in, on time and was told they didn’t have an appointment for my dog and wouldn’t fit her. Customer service was terrible! Whatever you do don’t do business with there grooming section

Don't go to the old location as they're in the Chico Mall now. Nice new store; but I was only there for a bit. Bought some herbal aquarium medication.

Never been in a pet or with all the fancy new amenities! They have a place to take your pets a shower and an in house vet! A very nice upgrade from the old building a few blocks down the street.

Huge new store. Fantastic wash your own dog stations. Very clean.

I was very pleased to find a glow in the dark fish tank and fish there!

Disorganized poorly stocked only cashier. People were friendly and helpful. Nothing special at this time... Give it a couple of months for the staff to settle in. No "Iams brand"dog food but they have plenty of lams cat food. Very limited hot XS small dog collars. Great toys for dogs and cats.
