Dreadful Dog Chico, California

I brought Mr. Rupert to the Dreadfull Dog today. He is a poodle and could have been their poster child for dreadful. He had not been professionally groomed for six months and was full of stickers from running out into a weed patch. Great job and Great price earned Carol a shout out. Hopefully my tip helped make your day too. Fantastic job!

From the moment I talked on the phone with Denise, I felt so welcomed. She really worked with my schedule and got my boy in within a few days. She assured me that it'd be a good turnout and it was! She turned a tumble weed doggo into a show dog!! Wonderful skills and a beautiful soul, it really gets no better than that! Can't wait for our next visit. ????

I got my dogs groomed for half the price then anywhere and it was good. I was totally surprised she a poodle and looked great.

I really cant recommend this business to anyone who has a dog that just needs its nails clipped. I felt that I was treated in a way that really left a very sad and bad taste in my mouth. If you don't mind a place that has very inconsistent business hours, and that you really have to work around, not them working around you, then you may be satisfied here. I have had a couple of encounters were I left a message to make an appointment, because I wasn't able to get them on the phone, due to their inconsistent business hours, only to not be called back. Also, because I had been frustrated about the way the business wasn't operated in the professional manner I am so use to, when I left one of those voice messages, I had recommended in a frustrated tone, that they ought to be open up until when they say they are. After I voiced my customer feedback, I felt that I was treated very poorly and in a very unprofessional manner. The way I felt I was being treated was not as a customer, but as an abused employee. My dog was supposed to be put in a towel, so her nails could be clipped, but instead I was told that if I didn't listen and hold my dog instead, I could take a walk down the road. I felt this was very uncalled for, unprofessional, and to the least very rude and done in a way that was very provoking. My dog was called names like crazy and wacko. All of this attitude this whole time was coming from the owner, she was the one treating me this way. I said to her you were supposed to put her in a towel (This was already spoken about doing the day before with no hesitation on her part), and she said I am not taking your crap, I don't have time for this, you hold her, or take a walk! I was very devastated, and deeply hurt by the way she treated me and naming calling my dog. I don't know about anyone else, but I sure don't ever want to walk into a place again that treats a person like that, because you give them feedback as a customer, as that is essential for a business to know type information, so they can better please the customer. Anyway, this was my encounter, I would never want anyone else to go through, as it totally devastated me on an emotional level and as a customer.

Absolute, excellent service! Carol was amazing my with scared Pug. It was incredible the amount of hair that she removed, I was amazed, and has TRULY helped with chronic shedding! I highly recommend this Company, 5+ stars!!!
