Rescued an adorable French bulldog who was named Bana now named Betty. She had some health issues but now on the mend. The previous owner must have used her for breeding because she had past c- section scars inside her. Blissfully spayed and the huge bladder stone out, she is enjoying her retirement as house maven. Sweet lovable and smart. She's now on a prescription diet for her bladder. She's 100% all about the love. Awesome addition to the household.

Visited on Sunday the only day for viewing.Didn't have many small dogs just medium to large. Will return to look again.

FOUND CAT!!! NOVEMBER 27th 2021, Saturday, 8pm : Tonight I drove to a pretty big plaza on Chatsworth to go to Starbucks. As i drove out, a beautiful grey cat with orange eyes and a collar on ran in front of my car and sat down. Clearly a healthy and newly lost cat. She ran into my arms when I called her. My husband and I took her home, she is fed and safe. I will be bringing her to the West Valley Animal Shelter tomorrow as soon as they open. If they don't accept her fsr, i'll bring her to the next closest shelter. Will leave my information with them.

Went with a Friend to look for a puppy. Very clean facility.. and great help. Didn't find the " one" , will keep looking.

Honestly we're to start none of the animals that are advertised on the web are even available or are there they need to update their website and after I adopted a cat went home to only return it because he was not eating or drinking water or having bowel movement i was very concerned and when I took him back instead of checking him out they said I had to surrender him I was very upset specially because of the way the guy was talking to me besides that front desk lady is super nice

They were very friendly and informative. It was a pleasant experience. I left wirh a new companion dog. I only wish homes could be provided for them all

Nice place but we left ????. We drove from Northridge to the East Valley Shelter and waited 20 min for it to open only to go in and be told our bunny ???? had been moved to West Valley Shelter. Got across the Valley as fast as we could only to see her being taken home by someone else.

The shelter is big and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I found this little kitten in the street , I dropped her here , I tried two shelter before and they did not want her, this shelter received her , I blessed them for it, I hope this cute kitten find a good home , i wished I could keep her but I can not, I have 2 big dogs , no friendly , I hope the best for her❤️????I dropped her several days ago if you know somebody , call this shelter , she still there ???? ,p

Horrible shelter. Kills kittens if not placed in home within 5 hours of receiving them. They dont care if fosters are going to accept it in 6 hours. They are happy to euthanize. I used to donate annually , no longer. Very bad shelter , bad people, and high kill. They dont like adopting out , they just want donations and to continue killing. Dont believe me? Check out their instagram where they ask for help and then before anyone can help they kill the kitten. Then they leave the post up asking for help to save the kitten they already killed in cold blood. Animal right? Not at West Valley.

This place is one of cleanest shelters I ever seen, the personal very very friendly .

SETH is a blessing!!!! He helped me settle all of my licensing issues I had for my dogs. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire process. This shelter already has high reviews but Seth would get 10 stars if I could give them. Thank you Seth for everything you did for both me and my dogs!!!

They want to charge me 270 for my cat that was taken from my home while I was in the hospital and and 30 for my kitten ????????

I'm thankful for this place they seem to be really nice in there they were very helpful.

Overall wasnt a bad experience. Animals seemed taken care of for the ones i saw when i was walking thru all the kennels. I would give 5 stars. I dont go to shelters often but when i did. I felt extremely pressured and rushed on trying to figure out if the one dog i was looking at was right for me. Its a big thing to adopt a full grown dog and i just felt really pressured and rushed with it. I ended up getting a diffrent dog than my original appointment was for due to the amount of training i felt 1 would need. But im beyond happy with this guy

Used Heaven on Earth Clinic services adjacent to shelter but NOT the shelter directly.

I have been trying to adopt an animal from them for a month. I understand that there is a pandemic, but it’s no excuse for being lazy and irresponsible. Your animals would suffer. They put me on hold for an hour, and when I finally made an appointment to see a dog, they canceled it half an hour before my appointment. They said there was a mix up and someone else is getting the dog, but the dog reappeared in the system in one day. Now I am on hold for them for last 38 minutes. I really feel bad for this dog since she has an ear infection, therefore lower chance of being adopted. I don’t know what to do, since there is no indications of anyone ever answering this phone.

We made an appointment via phone and they were prompt and easy to make. On the appointment day, we arrived early and lady who showed us cats were very kind. She let us hold couple of kittens and we decided to adopt one. Adoption process was smooth and it only costed around $12(originally $25 but had special promotion on June) We waited one day for kitten to be spayed and picked her up next day. They gave free microchip and free cone to keep kitten from licking the surgery wound. Awesome service and I am happy about the experience.

The handler hovered over me the whole time while looking at cats for adoption. I couldn't connect wity any kitty and felt super pressured to adopt just any cat. Very weird situation. Cute cats though.

Horrible Phone Customer Service. As a recent dog bite victim who has gone through & still lots of stress & pain physically, emotionally & psychologically, I called @1pm today just to ask a question, the female who picked up the phone hanged up before even I open my mouth - literally! I called back, she started w an aggrevated angry tone as if she had had a bad day & wanted to take it on me! I said "Don't talk to me w that tone" & gave up what I wanted & ended the call. I don’t know who gave them all these stars! Disgusted

The person that helped me was very nice & answered all my questions.

I've gotten two pets from here haven't had any issues till today with the service. The service lady in the front today June 5 at 2pm was the rudest person I've ever experienced. She came out with an attitude had a lot of people waiting for her to come out and yell did you read the sign it says no viewings till appointment! And completely ignored all of us. If they want any of these pets to get adopted or assistance she definitely is going to have to work in the back no customer service for her.
