The Good Dog quite literally changed my life. I cannot say enough amazing things about their knowledge and expertise. I had one of the toughest dogs most people would have just put down, but TGD got him to a place where he could be safe in the home and in public. They also taught me how to be a better owner for my dog. Forever grateful.

I did a four week board and train with the Good Dog for my rescue pup Daisy. She is a three year old pit who was found as a stray and has had an array of aggression and behavioral issues. She had some pretty serious reactivity which even led to her biting me in an unintentional high stress situation for her. My life had became a constant wreck of anxiety trying to avoid all dogs on walks, and almost never inviting house guests over for fear of how she would act, my biggest fear was that I would have to put her down. I reached out to the Good Dog and it was the best decision I have ever made. The team was kind, responsive and realistic with what to expect for a life with Daisy once she came home. I attended two go home sessions at the end of the board and train and I was blown away with her progress. She is now so calm and obedient. She listens to me on walks and has not had any human or dog issues since returning home. She is truly a whole new dog, I will always be so grateful to the good dog team and everyone who helped her to find such a better life.

The team at The Good Dog are top. Sean is very generous with his knowledge and communicates very well to you regarding your dog. You can find results with your dog behavior problem here!

We brought our 2 dogs, a Frenchie and Cane Corso, to The Good Dog, after their fighting terrified us that we'd have to split our dogs up or that they or we would be seriously harmed. Dino, our Cane Corso, is a giant rescue dog who had trouble with anxiety and fear of other dogs. Meatball is a crazy Frenchie... very possessive and aggressive towards Dino. It's been almost 5 months since our training, and I have to tell you that this is the best investment we ever made for our family. We can all be at home in complete peace now, and they act like brothers. They cuddle, play, and generally let each other be. Even more so, it's amazing to be able to walk around confidently with our dogs and know they won't react to other dogs or crazy bystanders. I wish I could tell everyone I see whose dog is controlling them on the leash or being aggressive to go to the Good Dog.

0 stars. Sean severely injured my dog almost beyond repair and refuses to admit responsibility. I would strongly advise against taking your dog here.

Being a good dog owner is no different than being a good parent. You don't want to be your kid's "friend". You want to teach them about consequences by simply "correcting" them when they make poor choices. This sensible training technique is taught at The Good Dog Training and Rehabilitation boot camp and it's well explained in Sean OShea's book, THE GOOD DOG WAY. The book and boot camp teach you how to deescalate a frightening situation or an aggressive behavior by addressing the early warning signs (loading) with corrective tools and techniques. Following the boot camp, we are finally experiencing our happy dog in a calm, quiet state of mind. These simple, but priceless training exercises, (ie thresholds, crate, structured walk, food permission, and duration exercises), is like "one stop shopping" because he teaches both the dog and the owner how to achieve that calm state of mind to make better choices. His Permission Based Training techniques addressed all my dog's aggressive behavioral patterns. No one recognizes our serene little dog meditating on her yoga mat, that once ran everyone off in a state of anxiety. Thank you!

I had a horrible experience with Sean. He lied to me about his methods hurting my dog. Afterwards I decided to look more into him and he is a well known fraud and liar. The amount of dogs he abuses under the guise of "training" is sickening.

My pit-bull was super aggressive. He had major reactivity issues. He growled at everyone that came into the house, he had to be locked away during visits. He hated if people looked at him he would throw a huge tantrum and wanted to nearly kill them, at least that's how he would act. He attacked my husband and it was traumatic for the both of us. He was a huge liability. We stopped walking him as we no longer could handle him. After the good dog he completely changed, he's now respectful, calm, obedient, and damn near perfect. The good dog was worth every damn penny. It feels amazing to be able to prove everyone that doubted him wrong. Many told us to put him down many said grown adult dogs can't learn new tricks, I never listened to them. He's amazing now I'm so thankful for the good dog. He walks in a perfect heel, ignores old triggers, obeys commands, he's damn near perfect! We learned so much and realized that we were doing soooo many things wrong, Sean and his team schooled us for sure! We have had wonderful experiences with The Good Dog trainers. They are kind, relaxed, and superb at training owners as well as dogs. They did a fantastic job with my daughter's Shiba Inu, not an easy dog to train, and with us; he is now an incredibly well behaved service dog for her and goes everywhere with her, including to school. The trainers have always been responsive and helpful since the original training whenever we have had a question or issue to solve. We have a new puppy destined to become a therapy dog in my psychology practice, and I am about to start training for her and me. I've had 10 dogs in my life and worked with numerous trainers in the past; I wouldn't have a dog now without The Good Dog's help.
