We dropped off our 2 cats the day before our flight. This place is like an oasis in the middle of the crowded San Fernando valley. It's a great outdoor space with dog kennels, and outdoor check-in. Inside, the cat kennels are very spacious and tall, with a shelf that encourages jumping, a clean litter box and a cushy bed. The ladies in charge are very warm and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable leaving our cats in their care. They jotted down feeding and medication instructions and were very receptive. I highly recommend Hideaway Kennels for your pet boarding needs.

We take our precious dog here when we go away. We know he is well tended and loved. Absolutely no concerns about him here.

The people there appear to love their jobs. Really made us feel ok leaving our 4 legged children there. Tanner and Emmie seemed to love exploring the play areas.

Beyond reasonably priced. These are the nicest people and facilities are clean and well kept. Please tip them because they deserve it and the service exceeds the cost.

I have used this kennel for boarding a few times and the staff is wonderful. They are super caring and loving with all the animals. They texted me a picture of my dog while I was on vacation. I like the fact that there is someone on the premises 24 hours. The boarding price is really reasonable and I would highly recommend them ????????????

We took our almost 1 year old kitten for a stay because we were heading out of town for 2 1/2 weeks and it was too long to leave him alone at our house. I was hesitant because he is our baby and would anyone love him as much as we do?? Boy was I pleasantly surprised....they sent me almost daily pictures and updates to let us know how he was doing an all the love he was getting from all of the staff. It was also his birthday while we were gone and they decorated his kennel with a birthday banner, fed him the special treat I left and gave him lots of cuddles for us all. When my sister picked him up since we got home after they closed and couldn't stand to be another day away from him they told my sister how wonderful he was and how they wanted to keep him. I wouldn't hesitate to bring Mookie back to them anytime we are away from the house.

This is a long overdue review. Thank you to the amazing staff at Hideaway Kennels for providing stellar service and extra TLC for my tabby Orange Julius, a.k.a. JuJu. If you're looking for a loving place to board your kitty, this is the one.

So far, so good. Just a 2 night adventure first try. Dog needs medicine 3 times a day. A little more attention than average dog. Seemed happy and healthy when we picked him up. Staff is really nice.

I have been a customer of Hideaway Kennels for over for over 10 years and have boarded my dog there every time we took a trip. I always knew I was leaving my dog in good hands and it was like she was on her own vacation. They are very clean, each dog has their own run, and dogs don't come into personal contact with each other. They have their own scheduled outdoor playtime as well. I also liked that every animal was required to be up to date with their vaccinations and this was a hard and fast rule. In all the years that she stayed there, When I would pick up my dog I could tell she was well cared for and never went home sick. Plus the staff was so caring. My dog got to know one of the staff members well Anna and I felt at peace leaving her there.

Loved this place! The kennel area is larger than the one l’m used to and they also take the doggies to a large grassy area twice/day( each dog in his/her own cage. They even texted me a picture of my buddy while he was relaxing in the outdoor area. The place l usually board my pet stopped this service due to CVD-19. Thought l liked it there, but this place is much better.

I love this place! I have boarded my cranky cats there and they have managed to make them feel comfortable. They let me know how they were doing by sending me photos.

Terrific multi-shelter situations for boarding dogs. The women that own & operate it could not be nicer, more professional or well educated when it comes to all breeds. They also offer grooming. This place is top notch & is not seen from Topanga Canyon Bl. thus no traffic fumes and always clean.

They took great car with my dog.

Great place for your 4 footed family. The staff is very caring and attentive to your needs. For dogs they have indoor and outdoor kennels that are very roomy. They have a large grass area and several smaller fenced in areas where dogs are let out several times a day. They will also bathe you kids at the end of their visit for a small fee. We have always had a pleasant experience and will continue bringing our pets here.

We used hidden kennels several times and each time we pick up our 2 large dogs they are happy, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my dogs with them again as I know they treat my fur babies like their own !!! 5 stars ❤️

A great low-key yet professionally run boarding. Very reasonably priced, flexible. Many services offered. Nice quiet, wooded oasis in Chatsworth for your doggo. My dog is always happy to be there and in good shape when I pick her up.

Nice clean friendly place for your pets

Nice place with friendly employees. Just keep in mind that large dog cages are outside. They have smaller indoor areas first come first serve. 11/14/18 update: they now have indoor large dog rooms as well

They will outright lie about the cost and when it's too late to go anywhere else, double the price. Had to ask multiple times for photos and updates and got 2 bad pics and little info. Terrible.

They have high standards and I do whatever they want because my dog was so much happier when I picked him up. This was so important that I would drive a considerable distance to board my German Shepherd Dog with them. The prices are competitive and they have been a highly valued resource. I give them my highest recommendation.

My dog is always happy to go there. She comes back in good health and good weight. People who work there are nice, kind and caring. They follow all my diet restrictions instructions. Love the place. Have sending my dog there for over 13 years.

The staff loved my animals as their own. When I had to travel for business a great deal, Hideaway Kennels made it possible for me to rest easy knowing my dogs were cared for with love and compassion. One of my dogs had to be kenneled for six months and the staff was wonderful to her. She came home happy and healthy. I will be forever grateful.

This is the most caring, competent kennel I have yet to see. They truly put the welfare of the dogs and cats first. Exceptionally clean, fresh air runs, large cubicles with private sleeping area if desired. The staff treats the animals as if they were their own.
