I would NEVER trust Banfield with my pet ever again! After hold my pet there for 8+ hours for a routine check up and vaccines, he came home and started to throw up mucus. This when on for two months. When it started we took him back to Banfield right away, since that is our primary vet, and they were absolutely useless. My healthy Maltese has lost 10 pounds, will no longer eat, and is no longer the lively dog we had due to this and Banfield will not even let us cancel our insurance. The front desk and doctors do not seem to care about the pets and are just trying to get in as many pets as possible with out actually spending time with the animal to see what is wrong. If you love your pet do not go here! Update/reply to Banfield reply: I will not be emailing or reaching out because up until leaving this review we have left multiple calls and voicemails we have still not gotten calls back to. We sadly did have to put our dog down last week due to this and are heartbroken. I wish Banfield answered our concerned calls/emails when our dog was sick as fast as they replied to a one star review.

The one female vet we saw i appreciated but no thank you!! Took my dog at 9:30am and finally at 6 pm i had waited long enough. They gave me the run around.... tried to upsel me the plans.... felt like such a racket. Paid my $430.00 for i don't know what..... and headed straight to another vet. Maria told me there was something in his belly that is need to get an ultrasound at an er.... but second very told me it was only inflamation. Ugh. My dog is better and I'm grateful to have taken him to elsewhere.... don't go!!!!!

First time here. Everyone was super friendly. The vet, Dr. Dewynter went over everything and listened to all my concerns. I did not feel rushed at felt very comfortable there. Check in staff was great as well!

Horrible place had to walk out with my dogg.all they care about is money they told me how much my visit was going to be without looking at my doggs vaccination records just had my dog dewormed and they wanted to do it again.

I was quoted 1400$ for a procedure that was not completed they told me they needed to make sure that my dog did not have bone in her Jaw (this was after I took her in for consultation and after they said they could do it) once they started the procedure they noticed something so they had to “send” it in to the lab. They NEVER contacted me back I had to keep calling leaving messages they... they owe me 1400$ or give me back half for the half a** procedure you did... a big company should feel comfortable talking peoples money

I took my dog in because she’d developed lumps on each side of her throat. The vet recommended bloodwork and a lymphoma test. $560+ later we were told that the doctor would call us to talk about the lab results and options in about 3 days. After 5 days, I called them. The results were indeed in, but the doctor would need to call us with the results. We received no call. After 8 days, I called and left a detailed message. We received no return call. After 10 days, my husband talked to someone at the office, who assured him the doctor would call. We’ve still received no call. My dog could literally die before this doctor calls me to talk about treatment options... please do yourself a favor and just drive to the Valencia office. These people are obviously way, way too busy to accommodate everyone with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Collected my payment pretty fast though...

Was able to make a last minute appointment for my dog. Was able to get in and out quickly and received excellent care for my pup. Would definitely go back there again, not just for last minute issues but for on going care.

Awesome place! I was so pleased with the team I sent this email to the Banfield CEO: “I wanted to compliment Dr. Maria Deul [corrected--sorry I got it wrong before] at Banfield Chatsworth and my longtime vet Dr Jennifer Young at Culver City CA. They have been extremely helpful with some intense ongoing problems my dog Buddy has had. I’m so grateful. Dr Young is just amazing — we’ve gone to her for years. Because Culver City is so busy after West LA Banfield closing (please open a stand-alone in the Santa Monica area—it takes weeks to get an appointment in the LA Westside) so I sometimes go to other locations and Dr Duel was great. Eddie the receptionist at Chatsworth is also amazing. I was there on a super busy day and my compliments to him and the whole team. Thanks!”

I've been taking my pets here for years and they have always taken care of them. About a year ago I rescued a 3 week old kitten and I brought him here and they were amazing. Fast forward to now, I always book appointments with Dr. Linderman. She always takes good care of my kitty and makes sure he gets the best care. Not to mention everyone there is super friendly and makes it easy to check in, check out, and book appointments. Would definitely recommend Banfield for you pets. They deserve the absolute best.

Banfield Pet Hospital got us an appointment in very short notice on a Sunday and gave my dog expert treatment. Highly recommended

Dr Deul is great! She explains everything after the visit which is bery helpful. Though the guy infront has to be more engaging. Also, the wait on picking up and dropping off your pet takes a lot if time to wait. Social distancing is observed well in this place too. Will wait and see if the front desk person improves on his customer service in my next visits.

I love this location. The staff is so nice and are so sweet to my Nova. Unfortunately I moved so I have to take her to the whittier location. I hope the staff is just as nice and sweet as the Chatsworth location. Otherwise, I'll make the hour drive. That's how great the chatsworth location is!

They did a great job with Hazel. They don't normally do grooming but were willing to help me out when she had another procedure going on. My kitty is really happy and looks awesome!

Unfortunately my first encounter with this vet was during Covid, so I did not get to meet and talk with the vet. They also had a hard time with my cats since I had to drop them off without me being there. Hopefully after Covid I can take the cats back when I can be in the room with them and it will be a better experience. I have had great experiences with other banfield locations in the past.

Very friendly office staff. Facility was clean and everything was was very well organized in spite of this COVID - 19. This facility currently has drop off service only which was a real inconvenience in terms of time - - you drop off your pet, pick it up later. Although they do give you a window for pick up time so you can run errands in between. Dr was very concise and allowed time for questions which was nice. It is a bit pricey, but, I think you get what you pay for.
