Dr.Morgan Is such an incredible doctor he brought my baby back from the dead. I called and he took her right in no problem right away. He called every other day to make sure my baby was good. I would recommend him to everyone. His staff was very polite and professional.

This place never answers the phone, can't manage to complete simple tasks (such as sending a quote via email), difficult to get appointments and even though they say their understaffed, when I went in initially to get my dog checked out, it didn't look like they were understaffed. I've been in customer service for almost 20yrs and I've been understaffed but I've never treated anyone like this.

I adopt older animals with known compromise. Before the pandemic this vet provided great care, however, since the pandemic they’re totally non responsive. I had a vet emergency for a compromised pet and they rudely told me I could wait 3 weeks or find another facility. Additionally the one time I did get an appointment they took my cat in and delivered him back to my car bleeding from the rectum. I decided to take their advice and find another veterinarian and I am glad I did. Take your animals here at your own risk

Had to wait awhile before being seen. Office was short staff, but the doctor was very nice.

Sadly this place has gone downhill. I only started going there after the owner closed Hills. It’s been issue after issue after issue. One of the bigger ones being told one of my cats “might” have feline Leukemia at 10 months old. Blood work done before his neuter revealed. So additional blood work was done. I waited and waited. No one called or returned my calls or messages. They still performed the neuter without telling me anything. Then what I thought was a call about this was actually post op appointment. I visibly cried on the zoom when I said no one had gotten back to me. And yet never to this day have I received a call. All I got was oh he doesn’t have feline Leukemia. No idea why his blood work was off. Never found out. This is far from the only incident. It’s just the worst. And all they ever say is they are short staffed. They had several vets leave the practice and it’s all very revealing. I was with Hills for well over a decade and very loyal. But I’m leaving the practice now. I hope they figure it out. But not the place if your looking for anyone to care at all about your pets now sadly. Somehow they are too short staffed to make any calls back or 7 days later. Yet they have time to respond to every review.

My dog passed away today. Groveway hospital has been seeing her however in an emergency situation where she needed to see a neurologist (recommended by Groveway) they could not set an appointment for her knowing her situation was very severe and also stated that they couldn’t do anything about it because it’s out of their hands (she needed to see a neurologist). I’ve called all the neurologists in the Bay Area and they are all fully booked until November. My dog didn’t have until November. Groveway hospital should have set up an appointment for us because they have the connections given her condition. Because of their ignorance, my dog is in heaven now. Groveway will be hearing from my lawyers.

Purchased a Groupon for a wellness exam and some labs. The staff wanted to charge me for things included in the groupon even though I warned them that I purchased it. I constantly had to tell them, "here, this is supposed to be included", they would then very unwillingly go and remove items from the bill. It felt like they were trying to include it and see if I would notice. If they do not wish their customers to use groupons, then they should not advertise themselves on the website. The wait was extremely long, the staff did not want to work with my anxious dog and I suspect that most likely it was because I had a groupon. They refused to work with the dog and prescribed anxiety meds for us to come in on a different date. Apparently, they messed up the dosage and when we came in the second time, the pills did not work at all (thank goodness it was not the other way around). The staff said that we should increase the dosage and refused to work with my dog once again. I never came back and went to a different vet that was able to work with my dog with no medication, just some patience. The staff at this facility needs patience, my experience made me feel as they were just trying to overcharge you and get you off their hands.

My boyfriend and I have 2 green anoles and when one of them stopped eating, we weren’t sure what we were going to do. He was able to call Groveway and get a same day appointment, and the entire staff was extremely helpful! The vet gave us so much helpful and informative advice, and everything was fairly affordable. We continued to go back for followup care, and we so appreciate everything Groveway has done for us :)

I'm glad to be back with Groveway after returning to the Hayward area. They provide great care without insisting that you must do everything possible to evaluate your pet's health.

Being new pet parents, we wanted to give our kitty the best life possible and we wanted him to be taken care of. I looked up many vets with good reviews and stumbled on this place. However we were very disappointed from our first appointment to what will be our last. We’ve come to understand that FIP is a difficult diagnosis. The vet we spoke to said this was a critical case but it was not treated as such. We constantly had to contact the clinic to get updates just to hear the vet techs say “let me ask my lead” or “the doctor that manages your case will have to read you the results”. Every single encounter we had with this place was terrible. No communication from the staff, as I mentioned, we had to literally call all day to be able to speak to a doctor. From the first appointment being rescheduled to a lame apology from vets who are not there for your pet’s best interest. My first appointment was canceled because they took down the wrong phone number and didn’t have enough staffing that day. I was unaware because they couldn’t reach out to me even though they had my email address. However, my kitten was seen much later in the evening. The last appointment was when we found out our kitten most likely has FIP. We took him in Wednesday and their internet was down. I had to make multiple trips with and without my kitten. My kitten was uncomfortable and the fluid build up around his lungs made it hard for him to breathe. They finally got him in in Wednesday and x-rayed him and removed the liquid. The vet examined the liquid and ruled out an infection. They sent the liquid out to get tested for FIP. Fast forward to Friday two days later and no word from anyone on the status of our cat. We called and were told no doctor was available to read us the results. Monday comes around and still no call or email. We called relentlessly and were told the same story that only a doctor could read us the results and no doctor was available. Finally Monday night right before closing we call and get through to a doctor who explains the results are not definitive but they do show all the signs of FIP. We are heart broken and so sad. We are moving forward and trying to find the best care and solution for our kitten. Very frustrated with how much time was wasted at this hospital. The lack of care and concern for our kitten is very disheartening.

Horrible experience. Arraigned appointment, walk-ins received priority service, politely inquired, waited 30 minutes to receive a bold face lie that I made derogatory comments to a young aide lacking people skills. I waited patiently only to receive a bias report from a doctor who relayed the outrageous report and declined to see my dog who was bleeding around the neck! I plan to heighten this report since the Vet manager never contacted me, pursuant to a promise from the doctor. Do NOT take your pet to this terrible place of business.

Arrived to the appointment and they decided not to take the appointment because they are at capacity. Manager and owner wouldn’t own up to mistake. In response to owner: I arrived 10 minutes late for my 4:30pm appointment for my sick animal and I called ahead to inform the clinic. When reflecting this to owner, he claimed that the 15 minute grace period policy can be changed at their discretion. This is a demonstration of how the clinic doesn’t own up to mistakes and twists policy as they will.

Really cool place to bring your pet. Groupon friendly. COVID-19 procedure in place, no one enters the facility, wait in car, check in and communicate via phone. They come to take your pet inside for exams and consults through phone. I think they should do the exam and consult via live streaming (Facetime) so we can see our pets. Otherwise the visit was pleasant. Enough parking spaces but limited shaded spots, it can get really hot. But once they take your pet inside, ask them for ETA, so you can go get coffee or grocery shopping at Trader Joe's across the street.

A fabulous place to bring your special pet or fur baby. The staff here is not only professional but courteous. Upon our first visit for the initial health check up and booster shots for our new little member of the family, Hills Veterinary staff took the time to get to know us and our little Bella. I felt very comfortable and secure that our puppy was taken care of as she should be.. Thank you Hill's Veterinary

Scheduled appointment 2+ weeks out. Received no confirmation. 1 week out received confirmation that the scheduled appointment was cancelled. Rescheduled the appointment for 2+ weeks further out. Received phone confirmation of appointment 24 hours prior. Arrived to office 20 minutes early to appointment. Dropped off my cat with the receptionist. Receptionist informed me the appointment would take approximately 30 minutes to one hour. Received a phone call 30 minutes later saying "we cannot see your pet today" despite having already dropped off my cat for an appointment. Phone receptionist stated the vet was running behind and there was no time for my appointment. I rode my bike a few miles to get here, only to find out my confirmed appointment could not be honored. I am not sure what they did to my cat while he was in their possession, but I am concerned it was not for his well-being as he's been irritated and stressed since returning home. My cat experienced unnecessary trauma during this visit and travel. Customer service on the phone is incredibly unprofessional and rude. They refused to listen and understand my situation of not being able to easily access the office. Online scheduling application is awful– the times shown on the calendar are not available and will get cancelled or pushed back. The vet should honor all appointments that are scheduled and that THEY themselves confirm. Incredibly appalled and disappointed with the lack of service, empathy, and compassion of this business. If you have a confirmed appointment and arrive early, that appointment should be guaranteed. They said they would contact me to follow up and never did so. Instead they blacklisted me from their online portal. Really disappointed to have left my loved pet in their care for such a duration and unsure of what they could have done to him, considering they were too busy for my appointment. They can't seem to event have a shred of courtesy to follow up post-care. They only value repeat clients who give them money on a regular basis. Shockingly, my cat now has fur missing and lesions. Really perturbed as to how this has occurred. Please seek care elsewhere if you are concerned about your pet's well-being. There are plenty of competent veterinarians in the area– this is not one of them.

I love Groveway. I found them in 2015 when my friend needed help choosing a vet to take her senior cat to say goodbye. I had never been in the room for a euthanasia before and I was very nervous, but needed to be there to support my friend. The entire staff was so compassionate and empathetic. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They really created a peaceful environment and they handled everything with so much grace that it really felt very beautiful. I have been taking my own pets there ever since. They also helped me have a peaceful goodbye with my first dog, what could otherwise have been a dark experience, was handled with such care. They even created a paw impression for us, which was very special. I have been taking all my animals to Groveway since 2015. My two cats and my other senior dog that has major oral surgery with them as well. I could not give Groveway and their staff higher praise or recommendation. Their new veterinary, Dr. Sip, is wonderful. And crazy enough, she specialized in exotics, which saved my friend's chinchilla who really was on the brink. Everyone at this hospital is incredible, your pets will be in the best hands. ????

The care was decent but very disappointed about being charged $128 for Simparica flea tablets when I could have bought them at Wal-Mart for $83. Called to say I was bringing the pkg back unopened and told they couldn't take a return. Probably won't be going back.
