This store has always had friendly and helpful staff. Grooming staff is also excellent. The only reason for 4 stars is that it's a smaller store so they don't carry quite as many products as a full size store would.

Chain pet food store, prices comparable to other stores, they always have the food I need for my dogs in stock, plus friendly staff.

Dogs are welcome. Wonderful. But make clean-up easy for pet-parents by having supplies Easily available. No employee offered other customer help or supplies;she had to leave poo, take dog and FIND PAPER TOWELS. DUHH. PERSON MOVING KITTEN CAGE SLAMMED IT INTO WALL, spilled water bowls, scared kittens, didn't appear to care. JUST WALKED AWAY. GRRRRR.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was in the bay area June 30th and bought a 18lb bag of Purina pro plan large breed puppy beef and rice. I got home (Sacramento) I realized I grabbed the wrong size bag before I even opened it. I called this petsmart and told them the night before I bought Purina pro plan large breed puppy beef and rice in the 18lb bag but I wanted to exchange it for the 34lb bag same exact stuff just bigger bag they said they had it and to come in. I waited in line got up to the counter only to be told I can't exchange it even though they had the bigger bag. Apparently this location doesn't have a spot on the shelf for the 18lb bag so even though they have the 34lb in stock I couldn't exchange it. Mind you it's 20 min before closing so now I get to run around finding a location that "carrys" the same food and flavor just a bigger bag absolutely ridiculous.

Sadly stores just do not stock their shelves. Minimal items for large breed dogs.

Good store. Has mostly what you need

I went to PetSmart to have my dog groomed and taking care of by a vet. When I was here two weeks ago the staff told me just to walk in and they would take care of her immediately. I tried to book an appointment on the website and the website says there are no bookings or no appointments for the foreseeable future. Yet when I walked in today there were dogs being groomed. Explain the situation to the lady that was working behind the counter, that her co-workers had all said come in on a walk-in basis and she would be taken care of immediately. The lady refused to accept her and said if you want to get her taken care of take her somewhere else to another location. I had her call sunrise see if there's any appointments, to which there was no openings and I wouldn't be able to book her until the 18th. I asked if she could do that, to which I was given the answer call them yourself and they'll set it up, when she was just on the phone with them. It's extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and all around not okay. Don't tell me to come in on a walk in faces and then when I walk in tell me you're not going to do i what you said you're going to do. I really hate giving negative reviews considering this is a very very first one I've ever give. Unfortunately it's 100% accurate and I'm fully justified of what I'm saying. I will never ever again bring my animal to this location lost a loyal customer who would have been continuously coming here and give me lots of money as I take care of my pets as if they were my own children.
