By far the worst vet I’ve worked with ... all around terrible service . To bad they got the only specialist in the area ... having to work with this place is by far the worst part of my days. Not once have I had a pleasant time working with this place .

We appreciate the professional care we receive from all the staff at Mohnacky. Good communication from doctor/staff in spite of Covid protocols & restrictions. Each visit increases our confidence our pets are in good hands. They’re also great on supporting home care. I’ve been able to safely & confidently administer IV fluids for my cat at home with the support & instruction from the Mohnacky nurses. All the Veterinarians are wonderful there. I do ask for the same doctor for each pet, but we also feel comfortable with all the doctors there.

Vet techs were incredibly rude. Was placed in a waiting room and forgot about. Vet tech didn't know that my puppy was receiving a shot she forgot and when I reminded her she said I threw her off OK its my fault I get it. Pricing is a scam and near criminal that you are literally charging 2x more than any other vet. Well I wouldn't know because waiting over an hour I only got to speak to the Doctor for like 5 minutes clearly in a rush clearly didn't care about my dog at all. Didn't even touch him no temperature check no nothing. Will not be going back to this place ill rather take my dogs to TJ. At least I can bring a translator nothing can help this clinic. 1500 for an ear crop go charge that bs on Mars somewhere. Literally just had everything you offered done for 750 inhad two dogs done for 750 I bought another dog who ear crops cost 750 you want to charge 1500 ok yeah right I believe you.

Had my little Cleo spayed here. We had never been to this animal hospital before and went due to the good reviews. They are so loving here and truly care about you babies. Here she is the next day basking in the sun after her checkup appointment. Will be coming here regularly for checkups and shots. My only complaint is one of the ladies at the front desk who does not wear scrubs was rude and held someone's dog as if it were a bag of trash. But other than that, I had a lovely experience, thank you for taking care of my baby!

I been living in California with my pup Luna for 5 years, I always drive by this place and I never really thought much of it, probably cause I had Banfield Insurance since my Luna was 1 year old. I’m in the $50 a month at Banfield but for some reason you can ever get an appointment there. They said it’s because they have just ONE doctor a day. To book an appointment you gotta call a month ahead which to me when it comes to my pups health it’s a big no no. I call this animal hospital and they took my Luna right in and they were so nice and professional I mean it’s a little pricey but as long as my Luna is healthy i don’t mind. I highly recommend this place. They really do LOVE animals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is not and hospital anymore, they just extort money. I have already made an official complaint, they wanted me to put down my pet. Now he is walking and happy. Charged me a lot for X-rays exams of all sort, for nothing.

Great place. Our puppies felt safe on their first set of vaccines. Recommend 100%.

Great staff, excellent response. They took our dog, Panda, in for an emergency operation on a weekend when we were on vacation in the area. Took very good care of the urgent things that needed treatment and sent us off with a letter to our regular vet detailing their findings for further treatment. I highly recommend them especially Carla

Always a pleasant experience here for our dog and cat. Wendy is the best and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Jurak and nurse Kate had us in and out quickly with their vaccines.

Great people, I had to bring my pup in because it got attacked by another dog and they where about to close. They helped me regardless and made sure my pup got the attention she needed. Everyone was really helpful.

Dr. B did major gut surgery on my 2 yr old Golden on 7/8. He ate a dish towel. It was in his intestines. He went from fine to dying in a few hours. Dr. B, Leah, Dr. Yeager, the whole Team saved my boys life!!! I thought I was going to lose him... Brought him home today and he wanted to play with his toys. His big brother gave him a kiss. I have an expanded family now!!! He is resting now.. I thank Everyone at Mohnacky for keeping my puppy alive!!!

We were pleased with our experience with Mohnacky Animal Hospital! Our ten year old Boston Terrier (Lexi) needed her teeth cleaned and we were happy to hear that they would be fully staffed with state of the art equipment while she was under sedation. They did a great job and we would not hesitate to reccomend them to our friends!

Dr B , nurse Holly and all the staff goes above and beyond for both owners and pets. Not only is Dr. B an amazing vet and Finn has gotten a lot better under her care but she truly cares and Finn loves her. We are very grateful to have found dr B.

I am in love with how the staff treated my baby Ragnar and myself. Very polite, caring, sweet and respectful. Also, this vet was the only one who was willing to reevaluate my baby who has distemper, I was going to request a phone appointment but they said to bring him in to which I am so blessed for! Thank you staff for caring when others didn't. I am forever thankful.

I will never go anywhere else but here. My family loves this vet . My dog loves this vet. They all are so kind and friendly. Thank you Mohnacky.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING I BEEN COMING HERE OVER 4 YEARS THEY ARE ON TOP OF THEIR DUTIES AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY PATIENT KARLA MCMILLAN IS A VERY HELPFUL EMPLOYEE HERE AND KIND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VET FOR U AND YOUR FUR BABY!!!

My male pup was taken there last september for a neuter surgery. He went the following week or so for a checkup and was fine. A 4 or 5 days later he was seriously I'll from ingesting something, possibly a plant bulb from my back yard. He was very I'll and needed intravenous fluids an was kept overnight. After he came home, within 3 or 4 days he became very I'll with an extreme bacterial infection, which was evidenced by thick mucous from nose, vomiting and lack of appetite. He was admitted again to Mohnacky animal hospital in Carlsbad. He was released 2 days later, after being treated for dehydration and bacterial infection. The cost of his treatment was over $4000.00. Since then my dog has been on a special presciption diet which is very expensive. If you can get anyone to answer the phone at their office, it is a person who is inefficient and not of any help. I've been waiting for the doctor to approve a prescription for my dog, it's been 5 days and I told the staff Tuesday when I called that my dog was in dire need of the medicine, still, 5 days later, you can only leave a message on their business phone, no one answers during normal business hours. Stay away from Mohnacky, and your pet will be alot healthy.

Took my dog Bear in for an emergency visit yesterday morning after he was attacked by another dog. This was my first time at Mohnacky Animal Hospital, and I will definitely be returning! Dr. Souther and Nurse Crystal were wonderful! They attended to Bear's needs immediately and kept me informed every step of the way! Looking forward to our follow up visit in two weeks! Thank you Mohnacky staff, for taking such great care of Bear!

I took my kitten Rover here today for a cold/ runny eye. I dropped him off and was told the vet will give me a call when she was done examining him. Within 5 minutes of leaving I get a call not from the vet saying that I need to run blood and eye tests for my cat, I asked how much it would be and was told a price. I then get a call from the vet who spoke incredibly condescending from the moment we got on the phone. She asked me if I had any questions and when I asked my 3 questions I was told the nurse would answer them all, not giving me the time of day and seemed incredibly rushed to get off the phone with me. Once I talk to the nurse I am recommend 2 medications and when I ask how much they’d be she said she already quoted me in them- they had me pay $300 in tests to prescribe my cat a medication she knew he’d be getting before any tests were done. I don’t feel like they’re trustworthy and they just want to make money through the animals. I’m very disappointed and will never be returning.

We love Mohnacky! Cassidy is our first pup so we are experiencing a lot of "firsts" with her. We needed a vet one day and Mohnacky was the first place that said that they could see her. Now we are part of the family there. The staff there is amazing, kind, and thorough with the care they give to our little girl. We are so grateful we found them.

Mohnacky Animal Hospital got my sick puppers in last minute and worked quickly to make sure he got everything he needed to get well again. Everyone I encountered from the front desk staff to the veterinarian were incredibly kind and efficient. They were also conscious of our budget and were reasonably priced for veterinary care in this area.

Update: 1 to 4 stars. They contacted me and tried to make it right for what it's worth. I'll keep it short & sweet. That staff is kind, unfortunately their organization and awareness is subpar. I have waited for over 45 minutes twice. 1st was in the waiting room after being taken back. 2nd was in my car outside because of this pandemic for what should have been an easy check up and prescription meds. My dog waited in a cage for over 45 minutes. I have been training him to be the nicest dog possible for other pets and my kids & trying to avoid all these stressful/anxiety filled situations. Please work on this as it has not changed since I have been a customer. Karen done.

This was my first experience with Mohnacky (Carlsbad). They way exceeded my expectations. Sue and Ari especially made my visit very pleasant, anxiety free, easy and made it easy for me to trust the care of my fur babies to them. I would highly recommend this facility just as the person that referred me did. EXCELLENT care! Thank you!!!

We had to put our Beloved King down in February. Although it was heartbreaking having to say goodbye to one of our family members, the staff made us feel at home and so comfortable. King passed pain-free with his family around him. Thank you for tge compassion that you all showed our King and to us.

I've been taking my dog to Mohnacky for the past two years. He has really bad allergies that develop into skin infections and needs constant vet visits. The crew at Mohnacky is great, they are so knowledgeable and professional and they really care about the pets they treat. I'll continue to take my fur baby to them.

The whole staff was really nice and helpful and very patient with my nervous dog. The diagnosis and the treatment were comprehensive and was explained in a great way that I could understand. Pricing was fair and I was provided with a few options to accommodate my budget but still give my pup the care that she needs .

I have been bringing Cash to Monhacky Carlsbad for 7 years now. I trust you all with his care.

Got a new dog and they helped me get him his shots and did a quick check up. Everyone is so friendly and the girls in the front are very informative over the phone! You guys do an excellent job! Keep up the good work ???? Will be bringing Nugget for his regular baths at this location, than at any other place. Thank you ????????
