Adelmo is awesome!! We have a bernedoodle who's hair gets long and knotted at times. We are kind of picky with the haircut style we like. Don't like the typical poodle look. Adelmo has groomed our dog twice and takes great care in his job and has performed above and beyond our expectations both times. Our dogs grooming has come out beautiful on both occasions!! Keep up the great work!

Their animals always look so happy and healthy! It is pricey, but I love supporting this place because they take such good care of their critters. Their mealworms are HUGE! They close down sales for a tank when a fish dies or if there is a problem and all the tanks are on separate systems to prevent spread of disease or issues. The woman who works in the fish area seems very knowledgeable. They require employees to wear masks too which is awesome! If you notice an employee without a mask and tell the manager - they handle it.

This place and it’s employees obviously love animals. Seen rats they have had for ever and just take care of. Watched employees pull out these old guys to love on while I was shopping. Shows a lot about the character of the man that owns the place and the people he hires. Glad to shop here. Like giving business to a store so devoted to to it’s animals

I bought 6 small comet goldfish to add to my 20 gallon community fish tank that has been established for over a year. I only had two comet gold fish in this tank in that year. There have not been any disease problems and the two comets I had were vibrant and healthy. When I added the six small baby comets I bought from Pet Emporium to my beautiful thriving 20 gallon tank, within a few days I noticed the dreaded Ick disease everywhere on all of the six baby comets I bought from Pet Emporium. Soon it spread to my two beautiful comets I had for over a year. I went back to Pet Emporium and explained to the owner what happened after I introduced their comets into my fish tank. His response was I had stressed the fish by putting too many in the tank and that is why they have Ick now. It's a 20 gallon established tank with only two fish in for over a year. I would hope that adding 6 very small goldfish would not be the cause of Ick contaminating my tank. I think the six small comets I bought from Pet Emporium were infected with Ick and are the major cause and reason for my tank being contaminated. Well, I didn't feel like he wanted to admit that so I just bought Ick medication and left very disappointed. After using the Ick-X medication as instructed, after 4 days all of the fish died covered with Ick. It didn't work obviously. Heartbroken that I lost my two beautiful comets and all the baby comets, I had no other option but to empty the contaminated tank and clean it. Next time I will quarantine new fish before introducing them to the large community tank. And be more careful who I buy my fish from. Ok thanks for your response, however I don’t agree or believe you are being completely honest with me about the possible fact I bought Ick infected fish from you. You write about all you believe to be true facts regarding what happened to my fish after introducing the fish I bought from you. I think your fish were already infected with Ick before I bought them and they were responsible for contaminating my tank. I also think you are not interested in acknowledging that to protect your own business interest. Instead you write a response publicly to release your accountability from what is obvious. And worst of all you have no interest in reimbursing me for the diseased fish I believe you sold me. I’ll be spending my time and money elsewhere. One last thing. People reading this in here, check out Coralitos Pet & Feed in Freedom/Watsonville on Freedom Blvd. They sell clean healthy fish, beautiful birds and decently priced pet supplies. Great trustworthy & knowledgeable staff as well. I only shop there now.

Decent place to get reptiles and animals along with supplies. I had current problems with my tortoise they gave me but it has been resolved, I have been refunded and I really do think they are a good pet store. And undergoing this experience, I advise all of you to talk with the owner or employees first if you have a problem. They will make sure you’re satisfied and they handle things relatively professional.

My little brother just got a Chinese water dragon and a ball python here. The place is just fun to go in even if your just looking.

I started going here last year when I set up an aquarium. The advice I’ve gotten from the employees here about fish has been very helpful and valuable because fish keeping is a lot more of a hands on hobby than most people think. ???????? The place can be a little dusty at times and you may see a dead fish here and there, but it’s a pet store so I don’t expect much different. My only complaint, and this is more of a personal problem than anything, is that it’s pretty cramped and I get a little claustrophobic especially in the fish area.

One of my favorite pet stores! Animals always seem happy, healthy, and clean. Wide selection of products and decent pricing.

I went in around 11 am looking for snails and asked the person that was working in the fish aisle for help but responded so harshly. They gave us an attitude and it seemed like they didn’t want to help. I didn’t bother asking more questions because it seemed like we weren’t welcomed. bad experience here

No one working here was wearing a mask. Half of the customers also went in without masks. Planned to buy shrimp, air tubing and fish food, but didnt feel safe going to the counter when the cashier was maskless. Made things feel very unwelcome for mask wearers like my family and I.

*Update a year later: feedback is taken seriously apparently, because the improvements have been made for all the animals here! Very happy to see. Nice employees, but overstocked on fish, rats, and birds. I came for aquatic plants and left very sad. Hate seeing animals in such poor care, the local petsmart looks to be more humane.

Good local business. Ashley has been very helpful and friendly in the fish dept. A bit pricey compared to other pet stores but customer service from Ashley and the local business aspect will keep us coming back

This is our favorite place to go for our pets needs. The new fish person is awesome as well as the service with the exception of melissa, who can be rude and refuse to help you and send others to do so. She could use a good refresher on her pr skills. Other than that the owner is awesome as well as the rest of the staff.

Good store for food and accessories for pets. The store is relatively small but does offer a wide selection of fish for sale. They also have mice, rats, snakes and lizards for sale.

The place is really good in general. The reason I am not giving the 5 stars is because I didn't like how one of the employees was just checking at me and my family, like if we were going to steal something. It was the first time in the store so my kids were looking at everything (not touching). This person was just always behind us. That was really sad. Overall the store has plenty of everything.

I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I asked the lady working if the fish I bought would fit in a 3 gallon tank and she said that they would. I listened to her and bought 2. I went home and looked up what food they would need and sadly discovered that they need at least a 10 gallon tank. She misinformed me really badly. I don’t think she was educated on the fish, and should not have helped me. You should do your own research before coming here.
