I have been taking my dogs here for many years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the vets are awesome!

Estrella Veterinary Hospital is excellent.

We have used this Vet for our past two pets (Dog) and our current Lab and they have always treated us fair. Professional and friendly and our Lab loves them. Recently took our Lab for excessive itching and scratching Dr Ryan treated her and a day later she had noticeably improved, she is now back to being a happy dog

My first contact with Estrella Veterinary Hospital was during the beginning of the pandemic. My dog had a $$$ dental procedure quote from our regular vet and someone referred me to EVH for a second opinion. Not only were they 30% less, they did other work at no charge. I was not expecting that in So OC! They also couldn’t take me in an emergency on a Monday but unlike my previous vet, whom I also called, EVH didn’t just say we can’t see you, too busy, sorry - they said we can’t see you but here’s a referral to a 24 hour vet we use.. just walk in!! So I did and now I have TWO new outstanding, compassionate and reasonably priced vets, depending on the circumstance. Thank you, Estrella VH, I sing your praises to all my pet owner pals. Judy

We were not happy with our prior vet when our 11 year old Golden stopped eating and we took her in. They gave her a blood test and sent her home with Prilosec. No X-ray no follow up. We had been aware that Estrella Veterinary hospital had a good reputation and they were right. Scarlett had spleen cancer which was found after X-ray and ultrasound and they cancelled patients so she could be operated on. They took out two cancers and Scarlet got to come home the same day she was doing so well. Dr. Julie and Dr. Wendy are wonderful as are the rest of the staff.

Dr. Wendi is the most caring, attentive, and honest vet around. We love her so much and are always so appreciative of how much she loves our fur babies. The office staff and techs are always so welcoming and prompt. My parents have been taking our pets to Estrella for my entire life and now I am following suit with my own family. I couldn’t be happier there.

Wendi Browne was so attentive to my pup and answered all of my questions. She spent as much time as I needed, even though it should have been after hours for her.

They really care about my dogs as much as I do.

I love taking my pups to Estrella Vet! We've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. I don't worry about dropping one of my pups off there because I know they're in really good hands. The doctors and staff members are friendly, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. My favorite part of what Estrella Vet offers is their patience and empathy. I love being able to ask them any questions about my pups health without feeling like I'm being rushed off the phone or out of the office. They truly care about every single patient (and their pawrents, too)! Thanks, Estrella Vet!

I’ve been taking our pets to Estrella veterinary for several years, every Dr is caring and really takes the time to get to any problem presented. We love Dr Wendy, she makes our kitty’s feel as comfortable as a cat can under the circumstances. All staff are helpful and kind. If your looking for a friendly neighborhood Vet I would recommend Estrella Veterinary. Really hope they are able to open up the office soon.

The Veterinarians at Estrella are awesome! They are professional, compassionate and have shown concern for my Animals. The office staff is friendly. I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else.

A vet tech appt now takes 2 weeks! Never used to be like that. After waiting over 2 weeks for an appt for shots get there and was told she didn't need the shot. Really??? So frustrated! Time to look for a new place to take my animals????

Incompetent and Neglectful! Their kennel tech, Joline Manikowski and vet tech, Katelyn Anna both disregarded my dog’s disease and my concern for how they would carry and handle my dog while taken into the back. He has IVDD (a disc disease) and had surgery earlier in the year. With their “knowledge,” I didn’t think I would HAVE to instruct them on how to handle him properly, but I did and boy do I regret not putting a stop to everything right then and there! While out of my sight for only a few short minutes, I heard them yelling at my dog to “sit!” and “stay still!” just before I heard my dog YELP loudly! As I have since seen from their video surveillance (which I had to subpoena to obtain), Joline neglected to carry him properly allowing his hind to drop (which is a BIG NO-NO for dogs with IVDD) and even maneuvered him like he was a dog with a healthy spine, without fully supporting his back as she flipped him 180 degrees, and Katelyn yanked up on his tail numerous times, as if she didn’t know it was an extension of his spine. She yanked so hard, that his rear legs were lifted off of the table! Their carelessness caused injury to my dog’s spine, as he needed a repeat surgery just a few days later! He began showing signs of pain immediately, which is how I know it was caused from their negligence I reviewed on the video tape. (Not to mention, I have become overly concerned with how I hold my dog, carry him, feed him... he isn’t allowed on furniture, is crated when I need to leave him, etc) I could not have been more mortified to not only see their horrifically negligent actions, but to also hear the vet, Dr. Ricki Alley, state she too had reviewed the video and found nothing wrong with how they handled him!!! Shame on all three of them, as well as Estrella Veterinary Hospital for allowing these types of people to “care” for our pets!!! From what I witnessed on the tape, they should all consider a profession in mechanics. They’d be great at tossing things around, HEARTLESS things! HAPPY TO SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH ANYONE WHO MAY LIKE TO SEE IT!

Dr. Wendy is fantastic! She is the only Vet that I will trust with my dogs. 5 years ago...my doggy, Toby went to the rainbow bridge with Dr. Wendy’s guidance. It was such a peaceful transformation. Now, we have a beautiful puppy which is newly treated by Dr Wendy and we are SOOO happy!!!

My family and I have been bringing our pets here for close to a decade. Dr. Wendy is the best!!! She is genuinely kind, compassionate, patient, and honest. I appreciate how she always takes her time to fully assess my dog. She truly has the animal’s best interest at heart (not her own pocket) and I feel comfortable recommending her to my friends and family. Thank you Dr. Wendy for taking great care of my furry son! Also, thanks to the staff who are always sweet and accepting of my dog, a shy, nervous, and sweet pitbull who can sometimes be a handful at the vet.

Friendly staff and great service from doctors, staff. We board our dog who is 14 years old and they take great care of her.

Took my dog in due to an obvious trauma to his back leg. The vet told me the X-Ray would show us what he was assuming was a tear in some ligaments in his knee. Took the x-ray (waited an hour and fifteen when he said come back in 30) only to have him say that the x-rays don't really (typically) show a torn ligament but it's probably that. Recommended surgery but I asked for an alternative. 10 days of anti-inflammatory pills and took the x-rays to a different vet for a 2nd opinion. It was a sprained knee...$86.00 versus the $500+ bill from Estrella. I will say the girls at the desk are very sweet and kind. This review is strictly my experience with one of the vets.

amazing staff, amazing work. my roommate suggested i come here because she’s been bringing her dog, lenny, here since he was a puppy and it was the best thing i could’ve done for my fur baby. my dog has been itchy and having problems with her ears for almost a year, and when i took her to a different place earlier this year they misdiagnosed the problem. dr wendy at estrella vet correctly diagnosed it almost immediately and gave us medication for her that made her feel better in less than a week. all of the techs are so incredibly kind and good to my sweet girl. they were so understanding of my financial struggles and worked with me with no judgement. daisy and i will only be coming here from now on!!

"Are you kidding me? Of course I'll leave additional feedback. Incidentally, It's impossible to improve on perfection. Estrella is THE place to bring your babies. We all should have medical providers that practice medicine the way Dr. Ryan does. I don't know where I'll live in the future, but rest assured, it will never be more than 45 minutes from Estrella Vet. Does any medical professional in any field of study want to learn how to train their staff to speak to patients on the phone, or in person? If so, talk to Neg, or Sarah, or Megan. Or Mandolyn. They are the platinum standard of how to deal with the public. The best decision I ever made was to take my kids to Estrella Vet."

The staff is amazing! Dr. Ryan is in my opinion one of the best Veterinary Doctors in Orange County. The warm and caring environment make every visit amazing! I trust all the staff with my pets health and highly recommend you do as well. Estrella Veterinary Hospital is the best.
